Avis sur L' Amore New York
The food was amazing, and the drinks were pretty strong, which is exactly how I like them! lol. Great service, I was looking for Italian food, and I’m completely satisfied.
The food here was absolutely incredible! The pizza was flawless — perfectly crisp on the crust, with a rich, flavorful sauce and just the right amount of gooey cheese. Every slice felt satisfying and indulgent without being heavy. The homemade gnocchi was an absolute standout. Light, pillowy, and cooked to perfection, each bite melted in my mouth, showcasing a depth of flavor that was truly unforgettable. It easily ranks as the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. Beyond the dishes themselves, the service elevated the entire experience. Attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, the staff made the meal feel effortless and enjoyable from start to finish. It’s rare to find a place where every element — the food, the hospitality, and the atmosphere — comes together so seamlessly. I left fully satisfied and already dreaming of my next visit.
Came here for a birthday and had a fantastic dinner. If you want to try real Italian cuisine that feels like you went to Italy, come here. Compliments to the chef and the staff for being kind and making it a great dinner. Their pastas are really good and different from other Italian places in the neighborhood. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.
Excellent experience in Little Italy, Restaurant L’amore The food was delicious from start to finish, with authentic flavors and great quality. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The service was outstanding—attentive, fast, and very friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Definitely a place I would return to and highly recommend if you’re in the area.
This is a DELICIOUS place. I tried several on Little Italy, but this one is a gem. Must go. It worth every single penny. This is my second time in NYC, the first time, I got here because of the Google ratings and it was like I got the lottery. My kids are really picky eaters and they love the pasta. The homemade lasagna is a MUST, trust me, it will blow your mind. The second time I visited, I ordered pizza and again it blew my mind, it was just delicious. The atmosphere is just beautiful, just like you see it in movie, Italian style and music, even the people from the restaurant speaks in Italian and have that Italian accent and you really feel you are like in a Godfather movie 😃
My family and I visited New York again and this time, we wanted to try out some good Italian. Do not overlook this hidden gem! Absolutely delicious, flavorful and amazing food. True authentic Italian! Phenomenal service! Molto Bene!! Recommend the Polo L’Amore(the gargonzola sauce 😍), Eggplant Parm, Chicken Parm, Chicken Marsala. 😋 Thanks L’Amore for a PHENOMENAL dinner!
Perfect as always! This place is amazing and the staff makes you feel like family. We’re locals and this is our go-to spot! Prices are amazing and food is excellent. Don’t waste your time with anywhere else in little Italy! Make this a stop on your itinerary. The chicken piccata is my favorite, but I’ve had several more items and they never miss!
An absolutely incredible experience again! The chef always shows out with his spectacular dishes. Service is the best in little Italy and it feels like home and you are treated as family. I feel like I just went on a trip to Italy, that authentic, that fresh, and that delicious. I highly recommend this place
A Perfect Thanksgiving Dinner in Little Italy!!! We chose L’Amore Restaurant after the Thanksgiving Macy’s Parade because of their wonderful reviews, and we are so glad we did. Even with so many restaurants available, L’Amore delivered everything we hoped for—and more. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was exactly what we wanted. The music, décor, and charming Italian design made us feel like we were truly dining in Italy. The owner/manager was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented in how he welcomed and hosted his guests. His warmth made us feel right at home, and that meant so much to us as we were celebrating our family Thanksgiving dinner there. L’Amore is the perfect example of a mom-and-pop restaurant that pours heart into everything they do. We can’t wait to come back!
I had an amazing experience at L’Amore Ristorante! The lobster ravioli was absolutely delicious rich, flavorful, and easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. The service was just as impressive. Our host, Alberto, set the tone from the moment we walked in. He was welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food and top-tier service!
Best Italian food in NYC! The chicken piccata is INSANE! My husband had the lobster ravioli and I kept sneaking some from his plate. He and I had their lunch special and our ticket was SO INEXPENSIVE. Incredible service & wait staff, friendly interactive chef, and blissful environment. This is our new local spot! Would give 10000/10 if I could!
Truthfully the best food I’ve ever had. I was grateful to be able to thank Chef Marco for the delicious meal. I had goosebumps with each bite. And the tiramisu is the best I’ve ever tasted. The servers are wonderful and the restaurant itself is homey and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Little Italy.
What a wonderful experience! Chef Marco’s food was beyond delicious — you can truly taste the love in every bite. The manager was warm, attentive, and gave me amazing recommendations that made the meal even better. The waiters were also friendly and professional, always making sure I had everything I needed. I’ll absolutely be coming back — 10/10!
Sadly disappointed with our meal. It was our one treat meal out on our trip, service was great but the food was just ok. Expectations were very high and just too many disappointments. We ordered a salad which was decent, nothing amazing, pappardelle bolognese and pizza. The noodles were fantastic but the bolognese sauce sadly reminded us of chef boyardee, almost exactly. The pizza again was decent, but nothing extraordinary. I guess what topped off the disappointment was the automatic 18% gratuity, and a $3 service fee, for no idea what? If we were a large party I’d understand, but it was only my wife and I.
We chose L’Amore for lunch hoping for a relaxed Little Italy experience. The restaurant was not busy at the time, and while the service was polite, we did feel rushed during our meal. When a restaurant isn’t busy, allowing guests to enjoy their time a bit more can really help the place feel welcoming rather than empty. The food was okay—pleasant but not particularly memorable—especially considering the prices, which felt on the expensive side for the overall experience. One thing to note is that a convenience fee was added to the bill, which we weren’t expecting. Overall, it was a decent stop, but it didn’t quite have the warm, leisurely atmosphere we were hoping for during lunch.
I went to this place on christmas and it was cozy vibes inside. I ordered the calamari to start and i have to say this is my worst experience with calamari. The calamari was hard and thin and the portion size was just disappointing. I also ordered a pepperoni pizza, pappardelle bolognese, and a tartufo. The pizza could’ve been more charred but it was good and the pasta was pretty good. The tartufo however y also disappointing, it had a flavor of smth else which i couldn’t distinguish and was honestly not worth it. The service was nice although there is an automatic 18% gratuity. I dont know if i would come back but if you guys ate planning to come do NOT order the calamari and tartufo.
