I ordered the crispy pork Pad Thai, and it was absolutely delicious. It consistently meets my expectations.
Lovely restaurant. Food and people were amazing. Super cozy and people are so sweet!
Service was excellent and the food surprised me. It was so delicious! The massaman curry was AMAZING! I will certainly be returning. 5 STARS
One of my favorite go to spots. Nice for a causal dinner, or great for take out. I like the green curry, the pad thai, and dumpling soup. The take out is always hot and fresh.
I love their drunken noodles and minched chicken over rice! so flavorful and delicious! I love their lunch specials as well! Definitely recommend!
Cute Thai restaurant on the UES. The portion sizes are quite generous and the food is fragrant and tasty. We ordered the roti massamam which was really delicious although the roti was a bit thin. The pork prik khing was super flavorful and had a nice crispiness. The pineapple fried rice was also great. Definitely visit if you’re in the area !!
I tried pad see ew and the rich portion of pork in the dish got me noticed that i am only paying for ~15$ for this very delicious yet with satisfying amount on the plate! Their lunch menu is something you’ll find worth to try! The space is a little bit small tho, so you should consider taking out if it’s for the group.
My new favorite thai place! This place is cozy, clean, and relaxing. I love the way they decorated the space. The hostess/waitress was very attentive with checking how I liked the food and refilling my water, yet let me feel comfortable eating there alone. I ordered the thai beef stew and mango sticky rice. The beef stew is delicious: hearty and rich, but not heavy! plenty of space was left for the warm and fresh mango sticky rice. Personally, the whipped cream and cherry it comes with feels extraneous; the sticky rice, coconut milk, and fresh mango is a 100/10 on their own! Amazing spot, cannot wait to come back and share with friends. Save a seat for me! :)
A cute little Thai Find which has amazing food . I think there is something in the NYC air! They have very limited seating but offer a huge menu ! We tried their dumpling soup which was really tasty and the dumplings were so soft and good ! Also had the Thai Basil Minced Chicken with rice , Warning ! It’s spicy but if you can handle the heat it’s delicious 🤤! And we ordered a Drunken Noodle which again was delicious, the portions are a little less if you come from outside NYC but the food is 10 times better . Recommended for great food !
A lovely and cozy place to enjoy Thai food in upper east side! Tom Yum soup. Sour, spicy, savory... a complex and vibrant blend of flavors that didn't hold back, awakening your palate immediately. The shrimp version came with a generous amount of bouncy shrimps! Love it! Tamarind duck. Golden brown duck coated with sweet and sour tamarind sauce. The duck was perfectly crispy! Papaya salad. A burst of multiple flavors and textures! Fresh papaya, crunchy peanuts, aromatic herbs, juicy cherry tomatoes… so refreshing and satisfying. Beef stew. A meaty and hearty dish that satisfies the soul! The beef, simmered to tender perfection, easily pulls apart with each bite, while the flavor remains rich without being overwhelmingly heavy. Khao soy. Tender chicken bathed in a creamy coconut curry broth, served over soft egg noodles and topped with crunchy fried noodles and fresh herbs, truly a bowl of delights!
The place is relatively small, but with a lovely and appealing restaurant ambience. There is pleasant dinner music playing, the service is extremely friendly and attentive. The food was really tasty, well seasoned, and amply portioned. I can recommend this restaurant without any hesitation to anyone who likes Asian or Thai cuisine. In short, a successful evening with extremely good food - thumbs up :)
By far one of the best restaurants in the Upper East Side. I’m someone who values excellence when it comes to food but rarely leaves reviews. Marwin deserves recognition. I love their food, and the ambience and customer service gives a very homey and welcoming vibe. I recommend the Volcanic Soup and Pad Thai. All around amazing restaurant!
Loved their volcanic noodle soup (tom yum broth) and dry noodles. The taste is definitely more fresh comparing to other Thai resie in the area. The vibe is cozy yet comfortable & inviting. Coming back again for the volcanic noodle soup. Have never seen any place in NY that reminded me of Bangkok like this place.
Ordered the Roadside noodles and Green Curry (wasn’t too spicy) with Mock Duck. Portions were great, particularly liked the mock duck and the crispy pork belly in the noodles. The sauce on the roadside noodles can be a little more flavourful and the “cha Siew” pieces were a little thick. Got an iced tea for free with the review. Overall nice place to dine in, not too busy on a Sat for lunch.
Fantastic food and kind, quick service. Ordered a drunken noodle with mock duck and it was perfectly spicy and savory. I appreciated how much fresh wide noodle and mock duck they gave, instead of drowning it with vegetables (though there were also enough veggies). I initially thought the noodle portion was a bit small, but I was sufficiently full once I finished my meal. The Thai tea was also excellent, just the right balance of flavor and sweetness. Overall, the food is fresh and perfectly seasoned/cooked, and the service and ambience are just as great. Will definitely be coming back!
Great small place with bunch of authentic Thai food. We had peanut dumpling which was great but needed a little spicy oil on top. Than we had coconut soup, pad Thai and seafood drunken noodles. All of them were amazing. Seafood noodle was packed with mussels and calamari. Thai ice tea had great tea sugar balance. I would definitely recommend this place. Keep in mind they have 6-7 tables. We didn’t wait for a table on Thursday 6pm
Great food, proper service, and an overall good vibe. It was busy when I visited with constant takeout orders. The restaurant is small otherwise with 6 or so tables but they managed very well. The food's spice level I requested was just on point and I recommend their ice cream for people with a sweet tooth. Great vegetarian options and easy to order menu. Overall a great place for Thai food!
Marine is a nice neighbourhood Thai spot but it’s not the best pad Thai I’ve ever had. I think that if you want to come here you’ll need to call ahead to see if there’s room because it’s a very small restaurant and I don’t think they take reservations. The chicken pad Thai was probably a 7.8 out of 10 and the Green curry was decent. I would come back, but I don’t think I would go out of my way to come eat here.
small but cute interior with solid thai and thai-inspired food— excellent vegetarian/vegan options too! i ordered the eggplant basil tofu which tasted great-- sauces and stir-fry flavors were amazing. my friend got the mock duck drunken noodles and enjoyed it too-- the mock duck flavor was super interesting and tasty
Ordered the same dish I always eat which can only be made one way Restaurant sent me a completely different dish and the manager argued with me that that is how it is always prepared If you made a mistake don’t be cheap and lie to your customer who eats your food and knows what they order all the time The photo below is what I was sent which was all pieces of fat that were battered & greasy Was supposed to get pork belly ?!? Anyone who eats Asian prepared pork belly knows it doesn’t look like that
