Love this place! Came here in June and came back again. I got chicken over rice. It was so good!
Everything they make is great and I especially love the kofta over rice with chick peas and fries. The food is always good and fresh tasting and it's not over priced.
I'm totally dedicated to this place. The team accommodated my family's seating requests. Sammy’s Halal Food makes me wonder if I visited on a particularly bad day. The kitchen experiments with consistently delicious results. You should share this place with your circle.
Sammy's Halal is probably one of the best halal food stalls in town. I usually get the combo platter with green, red and white sauce and green beans. The rice is quite good. The meat is quite tender and sweet. Everyone I've introduced this place to has become a big fan. It's no surprise they won the Vendy award.
If you are near the park and want to eat something halal this can be the easiest street food you have access to.
Lamb with rice and green sauce. Turned out exactly as advertised. Loved the basic flavor and the softness of the lamb.
Came here to quickly grab a meal. Ordered combo over rice. Quick Service: Meal was prepared in less than two minutes. Taste: nothing extraordinary just the normal taste you would expect from any other cart!
I got chiken salad it is so delicious they put lattuce tomatos one bol falafel and checkpeas white sauce and hot sauce its a good portion for only 8$ I well come back next time to try their rice and lamp
Loved this halal cart. Mildly spicy. I had lamb chicken mix over salad and chick peas on top of it. Chick peas over this was first time for me. He gave me 2 free drinks 😁

This place has amazing fish n chips....I would have to suggest the crazy dab. The fries are topped with a chopped cheeseburger. It's amazing with the spot open almost 24 hours. Great place for a late night snack
Solid halal food and the pitas were pretty fresh as well. No complaints and I would eat here again honestly.
If you are ever around west 4th st & 6 ave around 2:30am there is not much left open in regards to getting something to eat however, Sammy's Halal is a pretty good option if you want a really good lamb gyro.
Ordered the mix meat combo over rice. The quality of the food was average but the amount was good. It was the first time I tried Sammy’s. The rice was delicious and the taste of lamb was good. The lamb surely tasted better than the chicken. I went for late lunch so the quality of the meat wasn’t very fresh in my opinion. It is good value for money. Would love to try other branches to find out how they are, overall It was good.
Sammys gyro meat is always good. But, for $8 dollar platter we deserve at least some tomatoes and veggies. Hard times shouldn’t take toll on foods soul.
Tastes oily, for $9 you can get a better chicken over rice somewhere else.
Food Cart are okay,, but my biggest concern is how and where are you washing your hand constantly with hot /warm water? Ijs
I'm sad to say this but Sammy's has really fallen off. Have been visiting them since 2009 (or maybe even earlier), and at one time they were one of the best halal carts in the city. But these days the food is never fresh, regardless at the time of day I've stopped by. I have a feeling they don't cook anything in the cart and just use the griddle to heat stuff up to lukewarm. On my last visit the lettuce in the container was completely rotten. Maybe they don't get crowds any more but that's no excuse for serving old food. I don't think I'll be back 😔.
Most worst food ever . I ordered chicken with salad and I got some lettuce and little bit salty chicken. My time and money totally wasted.
I ordered a food from this place using their online website and paid $18. Still not getting my food till now!!!!! They got my money with no food yet!!!! This is not acceptable at all…
I ordered this off of Uber Eats and this is what I got.... Hardly any salad... Leaves have brown edges.. Hardly any of the requested sauces.. Looks tampered with. Food arrived cold ... Will NOT be ordering from here again
