Incredible flavors and quality. Warm service. Enjoyed the Halibut and an order of sourdough focaccia. Wow 🤩! The all natural wine list offers nothing that isn’t bone dry- that’s the one thing I’d like different here.
Very friendly and welcoming place where I discovered a scotch I had never heard of before and that turned out delicious yet affordable. This single malt guy is now interested in blends! Also the sourdough bread and butter is fabulous! We sat at the bar and no one chased us away. That’s hospitality and quite rare in NYC.
We always have a great experience at St Jardim. The menu is excellent with a good range and everything we had was really well done. The service is always very attentive and helpful, especially with the wine selection which has nice depth. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, which makes it a comfortable place to spend an evening.
So so so cute and even as someone who doesn’t drink, I absolutely love the place. It’s a perfect date spot or just a place to grab a quick bite with a friend. The menu for food is small but mighty.
My absolute favorite breakfast spot. The yogurt and egg plate are superb, in a city of cheugy breakfast spots, this restaurant is delicious, elegant, and so so warm. I only wish they had good coffee, they try to do too much with the coffee, a bit acidic. I hope they fix this, the spot is amazing except for that. Maybe turky bacon or duck bacon too, but thats being picky.
We came in for a late snack and drink and sat at the bar. We absolutely loved the place. The service by the bar tender was wonderful: friendly and very knowledgeable. A wide collection of drinks. The food was delicious, clearly prepared by people that know food. The atmosphere was young and pleasant. We will be back.
We’ve called the West Village home for three years, and almost every Friday, you’ll find us here for a cup of Joe or a glass of wine — our neighborhood spot. In a city like NYC, where coffee shops are on every corner, we made it a point to find one that feels like a second home. St. Jardim isn’t just where we get our caffeine fix; it’s our third place, where the staff knows our names (and we know theirs) and the small bites never disappoint. It’s exactly the kind of place I’d want someone to recommend if I were visiting a new city. Cheers to Danielle, Toby, Cesar, Gaby, Jake, James and so many others!!!!
Overall, a gem that you must try. I’ve been here for both happy hour and for coffee. It’s amazing how the place transforms from day to night. ✨ During the day, it’s a charming coffee bar with a light and airy atmosphere. They serve delicious coffee and breakfast. ☕️ There is both indoor and outdoor seating. If you’re lucky, snag a seat outside. The great thing about this place though is that the inside is cute and charming, so a table indoors is practically as good as one outdoors. 🧡 I didn’t see anyone on laptops, so I’m guessing it’s a place to meet a friend or read a book. 📚 If you’re in the WV, check this place out. 🧡
St Jardim is a beautiful cozy spot in the West Village serving a wide selection of wine & good food. Prices for a glass of wine range from $14-20, and food ranges from $10-$40. My friend and I got a class each, and also shared the beef tartare & cod dish. Beef tartare was decent, nothing remarkable. The cod was delicious with the crust at the top & well-seasoned veggies that paired so well with the sourdough puree. We also got the chocolate mousse which was delicious. Ambiance is perfect & the service is great. Despite the portion sizes being smaller, I will definitely be returning!
St Jardim is an accommodating and dependable wine bar in the West Village. They let me sample three wines before selecting my favorite. All the wines were exceptional and exactly the kind of funky wines I was looking to enjoy. Both indoor and outdoor seating is pleasant to sit at. Excited to come back here with my boyfriend to try more wines!
Reviewing my last review. I’m glad I returned to SJNYC. They have a wonderful and extensive wine list which if they have a bottle open will let you taste and give you a thorough description on the wines which is nice. The place is bustling and always quite busy which is why I had to try it out so I would suggest making a reservation if you can although they do accept walk-ins. I had the BLT on baguette bread which was a fabulous twist on a classic sandwich. Great coffee too. The bar area does get cosy when it’s busy and can be a little tricky to eat so do mind that when coming if busy but amazing opportunity to have a drink and chat with other solo diners as I did. I’ll be back again during my next trip. For breakfast and dinner and will certain put on my list of recommendations when visiting NYC. It looks like it’s a great spot for people watching if you’re lucky enough to sit outside/by the window. *Try their orange wine Thank you
Cute and casual coffee and wine bar in the heart of West Village. They have food but it was a quick stop for us, we got Green tea and Espresso martini. I was surprised by the size of their servings. Tiny teapot was half full and martini was served in what looked like a doll house wine glass. I have to admit that it was strong and we felt tipsy afterwards. I am aware that I am accustomed to Texas sizes and everything is different in New York but paying $30 for two tiny sips during the day is a little annoying no matter where you are.
It’s overpriced food for small quantities of food. Service was fine. I tasted 3 different red wines on offer and 2 of them tasted so funky. Glad there was 1 acceptable wine. Food is tasty but it’s tiny portions for large prices. I left hungry and had to get a slice of pizza to fill up on the way home. This place is not worth it for me for the offerings or price, I won’t be returning.
I came here for dinner and wine but wasn’t hugely impressed. The food was decent if not remarkable but we did find it overall reasonably priced. And the wine list is impressive, full of wines I’d not seen before. But the service fell flat and we didn’t get a lot of help or information in trying to choose a wine. Ultimately I was able to Vivino myself a save but would’ve preferred a bit more guidance. You might be luckier if seated at the bar.
