Avis sur Sutton Cafe Restaurant New York
This cafe is beyond our expectations. They serve the US style dishs likes Pancakes & Bacon, Eggs on toast and etc. The taste was good and large size of serve.
I love this place. I go here all the time Its one of my favorite breakfast spots . The staff are the nicest people ever. The food is always incredible. There pancakes and omelette are my go to. They make the old school milkshake that never misses and the iced latte is the best in NYC. Ask for nick when you go!!
We Hungarian tourists stumbled upon this place and we were captured instantly. Traditional american diner, very kind and attentive elderly staff, marvellous atmosphere and delicious food. Very good coffee as well. I could not ask for better and there's like 60 different dishes to choose from.
Excellent Food! The sausage is really good, as is the French Toast

Wonderful local cafe/diner for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Food is consistently good, staff and ownership always make you feel at home. I recommend it highly and I personally eat there multiple times a week!
It may look like your average neighborhood diner, but Sutton Café is anything but. The décor reminds me of the classic old diners you see in movies. The place gets filled with regulars at lunchtime and the staff was friendly. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. My eggs were a perfect overeasy and the home fires were extra crispy just how I like them. This is a great regular spot for breakfast, lunch or just coffee and a scone.
I'm a regular at this old-school diner because the food is good and the service is quick. I know and like the owner and the staff. Never had a bad meal.
Absolutely blown away by the homemade ravioli and you gotta ask for the garlic bread. If you’re local to the neighborhood I’m sure you’ve been like me where weve walked by the place but haven’t made it in. Next time, stop and have a meal. I promise it will be one of the best meals you’ve had in a minute. Great service, fresh pasta and warm atmosphere.
I had a moment shared with my family and Sutton cafe made it very enjoyable with their quality service and warm welcome. The staff are attentive and do everything on time. We really liked the atmosphere. The new menu was a good discovery, can't wait to try it. Thank you everyone for your hard work
Classic greasy spoon with really friendly staff. It was such a nice, relaxed old school Cafe with delicious breakfast food and a coffee cup that's never empty. Will be going back often! The only tip I would give is to bring cash as there is an upcharge with credit cards
Finally got around to trying this place and now I’ve decided it will be my go to for breakfast and brunch .. although I must say I’m intrigued with the Sutton cafe signature dish “first ave” as a dinner item one night . Love the local feeling in here . Friendly owner/staff who appreciate every dollar earned . They also provide just the right amount attention to each table . Good value , and I loved having the piece lemon in my Diet Pepsi . Relaxing environment where you can sit & stay as long as you like enjoying your coffee while reading the paper . It’s also wheelchair accessible . Reasonable prices, also clean , and quiet . I’ll be back soon no doubt .
Old fashion lucheonette, the kind of place where it doesn’t take long for “ everybody knows your name.“ New York used to have one of these on every block but now they’re rare as a hen tooth. Where else in New York can I walk in and the waiter knows what I’m going to order? The best dishes are the ones that require a little preparation, especially good at the breakfast is with all the standards and, for what it’s worth, the best sausages I’ve had in many years. The neighborhood is blessed to have this place around and every year I worry is going to close and be replaced by a nail salona new pharmacy or a bar restaurant catering to 20-year-olds.
We came here twice on our trip to NYC from New Zealand. The waiter was awesome same guy both times. The second visit he remembered us and even asked hoe plans we talked about had gone. So great! The food is delicious and for me who doesn't eat heaps I appreciated that the portions were a more "normal" size. Great music and great service perfect American Diner experience. Highly recommended
Really good food, but even better service. Our waiter was the perfect mix of attentive and helpful without hovering. He was great. Would come back to NY just to eat here

I'm a regular at this old-school diner because the food is good and the service is quick. I know and like the owner and the staff. Never had a bad meal.
Food was pretty good but my eggs were a little too moist. Coffee was delicious and the service was probably the best part of the place.
Sutton Cafe is a true gem in the rough . An old style diner that is truly a rarity in this day an age . I stop in at least one a week and enjoy the the food and the neighborhood regulars

Not the best but not the worst. Lots of ample seating which is good but there was a weird vibe in the cafe. We were told we couldn’t use the wifi. Wasn’t really a fan of the pie. The staff weren’t mean but they kept telling us multiple times that they close at 8 when we got there at 7 and were planning to leave well before the store closed, but the multiple reminders of it just felt a bit off putting. Not the worst place by any means and it had lots of seating which is nice, but I won’t be back

Beyond horrible. Half of the order was missing. Plus "fish and chips" ending up being some flat fish filet that looked nothing like cod or any near substitute. Like something you would pick up in a box in the freezer section of the grocery store. When I spoke to the manager, he said, "that's what we had in the freezer". It's too bad that a local vendor offers such horrible (not just bad) quality of product when many of us are trying to keep local. I will never order from Sutton Cafe again.
I ordered delivery, stuffed grape leaves were SPOILED - inedible! What else do they serve without making sure their product is fresh?! On top of it, they refused to refund me so I threw money in the garbage. Skip this place.
Saddest excuse for a gyro i have ever seen for $20. Ordered the platter. I had frozen Gyro meat in the pita and thats it. Literally nothing else. In the description it says tzatziki but there was none. not even on the side. They gave a little greek salad on the side which had anchovies on it. As someone with a seafood allergy, that was worthless as well. Also, no mention of it at all. Thank god im not anaphylactic. Fries were not bad. But this is first time and last time I will order from here.
