First time coming to the Puerto Rican festival here, atmosphere was amazing loving people
Nice american bar:) A little bit overpriced. But they are working up to 2am. And it's almoust one place in the hole area that works so late. Not really place for eat something, chips and popcorn are free, but one of the best to go out for drinks with party up to 20 people.
Great big bar, service is great bartenders make great drinks! Prices are good. Good atmosphere good chill crowd. Nice big park area that is part of Swiss Park where you can chill eat and drink. If you haven't gone You'll definitely enjoy it!
One of the first places I felt comfortable and welcomed at. When I first moved to Fremont. I always go when I fon4 feel like cooking in my room after work. I go there. Closest thi g to home out here.Dope place!
Swiss Park was able to accommodate our large party of 30 with no notice! The staff was amazingly friendly and super quick get our orders in and on the table. I was expecting since we were super last minute, literally called to see if they could accommodate 30 people then showed up 5 mins later, that wait times would be a bit long, which would be very understandable. But that was not the case! They had a large hall that we were able to sit down or stand and mingle if we wanted, which is exactly what we were looking for. Prices were also very reasonable as well. Definitely would come back again!
This is absolutely one of my favorite festivals to attend always great music the food is wonderful the people are sweet and I love all the Puerto Rican attire jewels knick-knacks anything that you can seem to find you can get it there see you all next year.. 😘🇵🇷 can't wait for the Puerto Rican festival 2025
We were there for an event in the picnic area. What an awesome venue. The hosts of the event provided the food, water, soda, and fun. The Swiss Park Bar and Grill ran the bar. The first time I went to get a drink they didn't have my favorite. The bartender asked if I wanted to wait while she went to grab a bottle from inside! Great customer service. Also huge parking and seating. Perfect place for a family reunion, wedding, etc.
Whiskey was tending and made my friend and myself feel great about being there! Had a great time, lots of laughs and solid value for drinks!
Fun venue for big gatherings. Went to my boyfriend's highschool reunion. I would only recommend air conditioning it was really hot October 7th in the evening. Ceiling fans but no a/c.
A great place to hang out for drinks and their dinner specials. The music on Sunday nights is a lot of fun. I grew up loving Rock and some country music. But my partner has shown me a new world of fun with Polka and the Music of the post WWII era. She grew up her whole life with the Swiss Park, she and her sister make it a lot fun for this former Hippie!
Always thought this was a private club and banquet hall. After living 30 years in the area I finally stopped in and found it was open to the public. Everyone was friendly and the drinks were good and strong. It is not a trendy bar but if you like to socialize over a couple of stuff drinks then this is the place to go
We had a our family reunion on July 5th & 6th at this establishment this year and it was the greatest experience for all ages. We used the park on Friday for our "Carnival Kids Day" theme and the hall on Saturday for our "Banquet Dinner." Bob was very good to us and the people working the bar area. We really appreciate the love and care Swiss Park & Grill staff gave to our family. Thank you so much!
Got the Monday $16 beer+burger+fries special. I got a Sculpin but I'm sure they could hook you up with a coors light
Paella Night was catered by paellatime.com at $12. Dish was prepped on site in huge paella pans with fresh ingredients of shrimp (lots), mussel, chicken, asparagus, chorizo etc. I liked the fact the chef nicely cut and preprepared ingredients then skillfully cooked the dish in orderly fashion. I personally will keep him as a reference for paella catering! The SP outdoor dining area was airy and breezy. Very lorvely Friday evening to eat, drink, and hang out with my close friends.
This park is great for small, private events. The bathroom was clean and fully stocked. There was a restaurant nearby and the mall was right across the street. There were plenty of trees for shade and benches to sit at.
Prime rib was perfect. Could not find the salt packages for the baked potato. Burger was excellent. The Das Brew beer was outstanding.
Salsa festival, nice open space, great salsa music, live band and they had a dance contest. Lots of people knowing how to dance salsa dance. Alot of fun. We are coming back to the next one

I run a games group here on Tuesday nights and I've always been treated well. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Service is top-notch

Awesome place for meeting friends and bikers! Lots of memorial services are scheduled here!🐝

Great drinks, classic bar food, swiss alpine ski cabin casual. Relaxed. Check for once a week dinner special night: could be prime rib, or steak, or shrimp at rock bottom prices. Annual crab feed sold out in mintues.
I could hear what sounded like a wrestling match inside, beyond the exit door from the dining area, maybe the stockroom, however, it was still inside the building, NOT in the dining area. I was in the dining area, with a friend. The day that I was there was about me enjoying a meal, and I did. I would like to go there again someday. Now it has been over 10 years now probably since I have been there. The above time I have mentioned when I was there was a thinned amount of diners, but I remember really liking how this place is made, its appearance, and how its privacy can be enhanced for supplemental diner security and safety. Being Swiss Fraternal Neutral, I made moments of silence for my brother whom was a fatal casualty of the Vietnam War conflict, however, when he was alive, there was only but a one, single moment in his time when he would live to see Geneva, Switzerland by and attending an event known as The Geneva Convention. My brother was/is U.S. Army Specialist 4 Steven G Skelly (11/17/1948-11/13/1969). It has been over 51 years that I have not seen him, in person, the living. One photograph only exists of he and myself, made in April 1968. At that time I was near 6 months of age, being born on 24 October 1967, a day which exactly four years later became known and recognized as United Nations Day October 24th, 1971. This is a holiday on my calendar, I recognize it as that also, and never wastefully. Unchanged/Swiss Fraternal Neutral.
It's a nice clean old bar with the banquet hall and there's Bingo there on Monday nights. In the banquet hall there's a stage they don't have air conditioning though but they do have ceiling fans all over. In the bar there are pool tables and they serve food. It's usually fun.
Great place. The owner is super friendly, provided free round of beers when we got here plus they offer free chicken wings and onion ring while watching the final of the world cup. Beer prices are average, place is near the freeway, dark (cabin) type decor. I would recommend coming here with friends. Would definitely stop by next time I'm in the area.
Great place to have any event! Very family friendly. A hidden gem with in the city limits. Love the mature trees that give great shade over all the picnic benches, the facilities available are great for any occasion. Loving it for all our luaus!
Great place, for events they need more bathrooms for sure and faster maintenance, but then again I came here on a festival day which is the only day I come here for their Peruvian Festival, and Colombian festival.. awesome music, food and place for it. Just like in the real countries. If you want to experience a piece of that atmosphere this is the place.
Good food and friendly service, but unfriendly vibes from the regular clientele. I felt like an intruder in their midst.
I came here for drinks with my coworkers and we had a great time. A very casual spot, this is the kind of bar that you can spend all night at. Wanda (who worked here) was an amazing bartender and so fun to talk to. Amazing service.
Not sure how I missed this local gem all these years. Real deal. Solid food, good drinks, really low prices. History, vibe, jukebox, friendly folks. Gotta try it!
Burger was delicious. Out of prime rib when i got there at 4:50😔. Will try again next week for the prime rib.
Went to play some bingo, it was a little expensive ( at least that was what I thought). Then we won $250, and nearly $1000. Being able to order food from the bar and grill was also pretty great considering we were there for 3.5 hours. Very friendly people (other bingo players) welcomed us to our table and helped explain the somewhat confusing tablet computers that you play with in addition to the regular stamping of bingo pages.
Good old-fashioned down to earth home cooking. great little beer bar nice picnic tables outside and there is even a lady that cuts hair outside ...super convenient. Will definitely make it a point to stop in again when I'm in the area.
This place allows a medium size celebration between 500-800 people with the covid 19 measures. Parking spot is plenty and additional new park mall parking cover as needed. Despite the convinent location, the park is well receiving the huge traffic noise.

Swiss park was the venue for my inlaws wedding! It was a beautiful evening full of love and celebration! Although the food was catered elsewhere, the food at Swiss park is normally amazing. The venue hall needed air conditioning however. It was way too hot and humid for the amount of time and people. Otherwise everything was incredible and highly recommended!
The food was surprisingly delicious. We ordered appetizers and drinks. Service was great. We watched a concert show and the comedians were hilarious. Rated 4 star because the area was very crowded. It looks like they could have opened another area of the restaurant, but they didn’t.
Had the weekly Prime Rib Dinner, and it was fairly good. Swiss Park has been around all my lifetime so it is still good to be able to go there.
I this is a wonderful place to go to. The barmaids are quick and will fulfill what you need.

I had a great time here, though I will say the vibe is a bit quirky and does not conform to what I think is a beer garden. Definitely give it a try to see if it's for you. They have the outdoor beer garden that is heated. They had five beers on tap including local brews which is always a plus.
I've been to a couple of Peruvian concerts here. The park consists of a small grassy area and a large dirt/gravel area. It's pretty warm and exposed in the summer time so bring your own shade. Parking is woefully inadequate and you will quickly earn the ire of the local businesses by parking anywhere nearby.
I want to love this place. I have only sat in the outdoor area which has nice wood tables in the grass, trees and has nice lighting. It is very quaint. My issues are with the conflicting aspects of this atmosphere like the music. Generally, the music I hear is the modern pop/R&B/Hip hop trash that I can't stand.. I don't even know what it is called. I prefer when they play country...and I don't even like country. They were practicing line dancing of all things. One visit allowed patrons to pick the music by paying through an app... It was downright awful and ruins the atmosphere. There is no theme, it's all over the place. This place should really get a focus... Get some folk music bands to play live or something. Needs a general Oktoberfest vibe of some kind.
Not a fair report as I am enjoying a peruvian festival, kinda has nothing to do with the restaurant
Not sure what the deal is or why you’d be open without food after Christmas, but was given a rude “What are you guys looking for?” when we came in from a rainstorm only to have to leave back into it quite disappointed and miffed; restaurant service doesn’t open again until after New Year’s. I don’t know who’s sitting in a bar & “grille” the day after Christmas like it’s a dive bar, but hit the road and join this century and epoch. Ridiculous.

I like the location and atmosphere of the place. Two things so two stars but that's it. I only drink at dive bars because often you can grab a drink and catch up with a friend uninterrupted. I was trying to do just that my first time here (in the afternoon) and couldn't. Just a heads up, this place seems to attract some not so respectful drinkers. The only time I think I will ever go back there is if my fiancee is with me. Mainly because he is a combat veteran and this seems to be a vets bar.
My first time checking this restaurant and their is no host to sit there customer. I went to the bar and mostly are white male having drinks. I didn't see any minority groups 😕 and felt so unwelcome and I went out of the restaurant right away 🙃 😕 😐
If I could give a zero, I would: the old guy is slow and forgetful. The woman is so busy talking, she doesn’t keep track of who is in line and passes over people. I waited in line for over thirty minutes as others passed me. She ignored me and kept going. We were there for a friends party, but we left because the service was so damn bad! I guess you guys must make good money. Because the 7 of us will NEVER BE BACK! No matter who’s party it is…
Stop by and sat at the bar. The older gentleman wearing a cowboy hat was the only one working so I waited around a bit. Three other people came in after me and were promptly served. Made eye contact and tried to get his attention to no avail. I was the only non-white person in there so think what you will. Decided to make my money elsewhere.
The burger was so bad it ruined my night. The basket of wings was not even good enough to finish shared among 3 people. The fries didn’t even taste fully cooked. To make everything worse, I stood in a line for 15 minutes to order the food, and then it too another 30 minutes come out. Luckily, I was able to wash down the terrible food with a beer. If you come here for an event, avoid the food, save room for either beer or going to another place after for food.
