Fresh and flavorful dishes! This is hands down one of the best, authentic Chinese food places around the Conejo Valley. This was our first time eating here. Good lunch special prices. We didn't come in during that time frame so we paid for the full price, family sized dishes. We arrived when there were no other customers. The woman behind the counter put on a mask, greeted us, and sat us down promptly. She brought over iced water and a small appetizer. She was very patient as we browsed the menu. We ordered 6 dishes for our party of 4. It took about 20 mins for all of our dishes to come out. First, she brought out the two soups. Next were the noodle and rice dishes. And last done were our side dishes. Everything came out within 2 minutes of each other which was perfect. The flavor was on point, sauce was perfect, and so was the temperature of all the dishes. Overall: This is truly a hidden gem - we can't wait to go back. If you are near the Thousand Oaks mall and hunger for some good food in a small sit-in restaurant, this is the place for you!
If you’re thinking “Chinese food near me” then this is your place. I got the egg fu Yong and it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Thanks Red Wok.
We visited Red Wok for the first time for dinner and really enjoyed our meals. We ordered vegetarian plates, including hot and sour soup for two, veggie chow mein, and kung pao tofu. The portions were very generous and prices are very reasonable compared to other establishments. We couldn't finish our meals and brought over a third of each home. The flavors were authentic and the food was very hot. The tofu in the kung pao was slightly crispy on the outside and creamy and pillowy on the inside from the sauce. The flavorful sauce, water chestnuts, peanuts and dried red pepper really make the dish. The chow mein was hot and delicious. I highly recommend you try the Red Wok.
Excellent Chinese Restaurant for Noodles. Came here with my family for early dinner. We saw a post that they serve Beef Noodle Soup. My mother in law cooks good Beef Noodle Soup and she ordered this and confirmed ir was good genuine "Chinese" Beef Noodle Soup. We also had their Beef Chow Fun. Really good in that you can taste the wok cooking (like mesquite BBQ if barbecuing). Their portions are huge too and their pricing is very reasonable (under $10 per bowl).

Consistently good - very nice people
Excellent food. Good prices. Delivery in local area. Their CHOP SUEY is actually same as authentic CHOW MEIN, but not on menu, ask for it. Their own Chow Mein on menu, is actually Lo Mein containing soft fried spaghetti style noodles. Once I got past that, I have always been happy with the food. Excellent Spring EGG ROLLS!!!
I've been here a few times now for lunch while working in the area. The food is great, everything I've tried so far has been good and made to order. Their lunch specials are a great value as well. Will definitely be back.

I have ordered twice from here. The food is amazing. Since moving to Newbury Park, we have been searching for a good Chinese restaurant. It has been a difficult search. But finally, the Red Wok won the prize. Everything we order is hot and delicious. The portions are huge. The War Won Ton Soup here is one of the best I have ever had. The sweet and sour chicken is the best I have ever had. If you're looking for great Chinese food, look no further. Red Wok is where we will be ordering all of our Chinese food from now on.
We had an excellent dinner here. We ordered chow mein (house & veggie) and mu shu pork. They were delicious. We appreciated that the chopsticks were of better quality than the usual break apart kind too. Highly recommend.
Nice food. Food arrives straight from the pan. So everything is HOT, and is very tasty. It has a home cooked meal feel, but better. Unfortunately their ac was ether not working, or it could not quite keep up with the heat wave, but it wasn't bad enough to make me leave.

So last week I bought 7 Mongolian beef lunch combos for my guys. I didn't buy any for myself. Cause chinese food is a bit to greasy for me. However, I decided to steal an egg roll from one of my guys cause it smelled so good. To my surprise I didnt get the mushiness from the normal affordable chinese food places. To my suprise I was able to taste the vegetables and the crispness of the cabbage and the carrots. I went today and decided to try the Mongolian beef because I regretted not getting anything after eating that egg roll last week. And although to be expected with chinese food being a bit to greasy for my preference. The fried rice and Mongolian beef was very good. I might need to try other things on the menu. Highly recommend!

Red wok is one of my favorite Chinese spots in NP. For some really I really love the sweetness the chow mein has. Additionally their Mongolian beef is really good. We’ve tried all sorts of dishes from here and have enjoyed them all. The soups are good also!
Great little restaurant tucked in a strip mall. The food is fairly standard Chinese fare, large portions. Ordered to-go kung pao chicken, orange chicken, and mapo tofu with pork. The kung pao was delicious, the orange chicken was tasty but more like general tso chicken, and the mapo tofu was too bland. Overall, good value and good food. Update: tried the chicken lo mein this time, just so-so. Dark with soy sauce and having lots of quartered onions. Probably worst noodle dish I've had in a while. I'll try Singapore noodles next time.

Horrible food! Horrible service! Price gouging! Hidden charges! So placed a delivery order for my girl and I and couldn’t be more displeased. Not only did they get the address wrong, have the delivery driver call to get it, say 5 minutes but show up in 15 with another phone call on speaker at my front door, part of the order was missing. When I called they said they didnt take the order even though the lady on the phone repeated it. The driver ran off with my copy of the receipt, so the other manger (the lady that took my order passed the phone off to some guy) read the order back with prices but changed the total at the end real quick and added a two dollar delivery fee to make up the difference. No apology. Basically got 1 dish, a bowl of soup, rice, and 2 egg rolls for $40.00. Btw, I hate mushrooms and therefore avoid all mushroom dishes. Everything I ordered has mushrooms in it even though they’re not listed in the menu. Seriously, screw this place!!!
How does this place even still exist…. I’ve eaten here many times in before but i stopped after some food made me sick and i came back 2 years later and this food is absolutely not edible. Not only that the service is really weird. The lady offered us water and when i got mine there was a fly in the water. When i asked for another one she brought supposedly “a new glass of water” but it was the same thing she didn’t even try to hide it. On my way to the bathroom i saw a rat outside the bathroom and inside the kitchen i saw a bunch of dead insects. How does this place pass health inspection? unbelievable..
