I enjoy the variety of meal options at Wendy's as I have a restrictive diet of no wheat I can accommodate myself with burger patties a side of fries and a soft drink or a baked potato is another side option. That is more accommodating in variety for someone such as myself and I applaud them for making it so easy to order
Wendy's is my wife's favorite places to eat and this one may be the nicest Wendy's we've been to. The Apple Pecan Salad is great.
The apple pecan chicken salad was super delicious 😋. Not many fast food restaurants serve salad anymore. This salad is a must try.
This location I go to regularly there great most of the time there on point only other place that can move a line in the drive through like in n out burger and have great frys and burgers staff is great most of the time Humberto has been there awhile great guy
Food always tastes fresh and it's never too busy so you tend to get your food quickly. Staff is very nice.

This Wendy's is clean, fast and friendly. Usually I go through the drive through on a flash.. Which is good when you are in a hurry. I have never had a bad experience hear after going here hundreds of times over a 10+ year period.
The Wendy's on Hillcrest in Newbury Park has fantastic customer service! The night manager didn't charge me for my order when I had trouble ordering from the app.

I ordered the $1.00 biscuit that was very good. I also ordered the potatoe wedges. The food was very good. The staff was very friendly and polite. If your coming from Los Angeles California and hungry. Come to Newbury Park California and get some quick and fast breakfast.
Really great breakfast actually! We were impressed...we did the breakfast baconator. The lady in the drive through was super friendly. If you haven't tried their breakfast it's worth a stop in.
On our road trip, when McDonald's wouldn't open their dining room and we needed a place to wash up and get breakfast, Wendy's was open with a clean dining room, fresh hot coffee, and a clean restroom. Thank you so much for not using the pandemic as an excuse to provide poor customer service
the meat they use for their burgers serms to be higher quality than most fast food chains. love their bacon cheese burgers which have real crispy fried bacon that tastes like the kind u make a home. their salads r fresh and their fries are delicious. they also will customize your order. Wendy's does it right. .

Very clean a d organized, Cashiers were friendly at Drive thru. Proper safety precayutions were taken during virus and prices are unbeatable for the food you get.
Service here is always fast with a smile, always great attitudes and clean inside and out. The home made chocolate chip cookies are very good.
Wendy's is Wendy's. You know it or you don't. Fries dipped in a chocolate Frosty is one of the best tastes you can find. The kids meals are good. You can get fries or apples. The toys are different from other places and do not last long with my kids. They are usually just cardboard, so they get destroyed rather easily.
I go here pretty often for simple food stops. The service for the drive through has always been extremely fast, and I have not had problems like other fast food chains. This store has been consistently great and I recommend it for anybody's quick lunch break.
The Newbury Park location is always clean with an extremely friendly staff. The manager always goes out of her way to make sure the customer gets first class service.
I go to Wendy’s all the time. I love dipping fries in frosties. The service is great, I just think that the floors are a little too dirty. I definitely recommend though.

Just had the best experience at Wendy’s Newbury Park, CA…Reyli was so knowledgeable about the menu, helped both my young kids make their order and did it all with a gentle grace about him the whole time. Special young man. Seems like the team there is working well together and it shows even in short visits from their customers. Thanks Reyli for making it a great dinner out!
We couldn't find a single trashcan outside, the only trashcan is inside... I was traveling with my dog, and we took a bathroom break, and I had no wear to throw it away... I ended up just opening the door and walking 3 feet inside and throwing it away there... Even though it was handled, it's a bit annoying.
Picked up a burger, fries a Coke for me & water for the doggie. Pulled out my lil chair & sat on the grass over looking the 101 freeway. Shared with doggie!
I didn't go inside so I can't rate the atmosphere but the food was better than some of the Wendy's I've gone to and their customer service was awesome.... I'll definitely return the next time I'm in town.

This Wendy's has been at this location forever. Wendy's has a great menu with items you can't get at other burger places. The potatoes and chili are great. My favorite is the caeser salad. This location could use a makeover.

I don't know what to say. It's a Wendy's. I usually only go here for the breakfast baconator and their seasoned fries which are waaay better than any hash browns. Service has always been helpful, prompt and courteous.
Everyone knows the menu... But isn't it time to improve the drive thru process? Bad speakers. Not clear communication with the person taking your order. Just nitpicking but it's especially bad at this location.
I go to Wendy's for thier chili. I also tried the jalapeno bacon fries.very good. Itsva regular family burger joint. It was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. With wheelchair accessible parking and entrance.
Previous visit the girl was not nice. Had a sour expression on gave and acted bothered. Practically threw my change and food at me. I purposely waited to review to give her the benefit of the doubt. Yesterday she was ok. Not overly friendly but didn't treat me like garbage. Bathroom needed attention. Dirty and towels and tp all over the place.
Currently under construction and only the drive through is open. That's a good thing since the inside has been pretty worn out looking for the last few years. Really backs up at lunch time and with the construction it's twice as bad as it was. The food is good though and the service is pretty quick considering the volume they do. 5-18 update. Great looking remodel is now open for business. 4 for 4 and some other decent deals.
We had great service here. It is well run with a great staff. I would have given 5 stars, but the chocolate milk we paid for, never made it into our bag.

The local fast food rankings have really switched around a lot. This Wendy's used to be great. Not so much anymore.
Customer service isn't friendly. They got my order wrong & forgot to include the beverage. Had to ask her at the drive thru window for our shake. She claimed we didn't order one & failed to give me my receipt so I could prove it. So I went inside just asked the manager if he cud get me my shake I ordered & he asked no questions & handled it politely & promptly.
The food was as expected, actually, quote good, but the counter guy was awful. He turned his back on us before we were done ordering and threw away my receipt without asking if I wanted it. Very poor demeanor.
Food good but the frostys at Wendy's Newbury park are always too soft and melty - no spoon needed. We recently traveled by car to Kansas and the frostys in Arizona, New Mexico and Kansas were so much better!! Really cold and frosty!! Was very hot weather so a great treat. Spoon required!!
Ordered on the app and it defaulted my soda size to small. It did not save when I edited it (on me for not triple checking). When I got there and saw the small I asked if I could pay the difference to switch sizes. They said no and the app order is final (I don't know if this was laziness, or the system isn't set up well). Three stars because the food was good and ready when I arrived, but the staff wouldn't work with me at all over such a small thing (less than a dollar?).
A pinecone fell and dented our car please trim your trees. I still have the pinecone that did it. And people saw it happen. 😭😭😭 Roughly around 10:25, we actually got out to grab it lol. I forget how to post a pic but when I can I will.
Our food was hot and good but the poor workers. They are understaffed, our line to order lunch was almost out the door. The poor girl working was trying to take orders and fill orders from the app and from those of us who just want to order in person. We waited about 5 minutes just to place our order.
This is one of the slowest Wendy's I've ever been at. Lunch time 3 customer orders and it took 15 min to get the food out. I make it a habit to go to a different Wendy's then this one. It's always the same.
The drive-thru line at 9:00 PM on Monday night was more like THE WAIT-THRU LINE. We had to wait 3 cars (no movement for a long time) to get to the spot for them to take the order. Then we had to WAIT for him to take the order; I assume he went to the bathroom. Then we had to WAIT thru another bathroom break bc it took longer than the previous WAITS!
Ordered an Asiago chicken sandwich and they gave me a different chicken sandwhich, which was fine but the chicken wasn’t done! Super disappointed.
Not as good as it used to be. Fries are either old and stale or super greasy. If in the drive through double check your order. My chicken sandwich had 1 lonesome wilted small piece of lettuce and the butt end of the tomato.
Charged me for extra cheese and chili when i didn’t order that and then refused to refund me completely
I am "Very disappointed with Wendys / the very basis of customer service in the beginning was its burgers ( HOT AND JUICY ) they are not anymore / when i worked at Wendys as a young man we would line the meat up 4 per row " turn and press " you press the meat out / when we put the meat on the bun it would hang off of the bun /it was hot and juicy / the meat doesn't hang off of the bun anymore / I have knowticed suttle changes such as Wendy / her picture has changed / they have made it look more like the real Wendy who is Over weight / my family doesn't go to Wendys anymore because of the new way they make the burgers / Wendys used to Be Special " / i feel betrayed or deceived / when i would $ purchase a single the meat would hang off of the bun and be dripping ! It was hot and juicy / i know that change is part of Life / but not all change is good / now that the burgers are not the same anymore you may as well eat at any hamburger place / Wendys used to be special " thank you *
My receipt showed I was charged 8.69 for the medium size spicy chicken combo meal while the menu overhead showed the price to be 7.99. When I brought it to the managers attention she just played dumb and immediately offered to give me a refund for the difference. However I doubt she made the correction at the register for future sales. I wonder how many other people have been overcharged without noticing.
Went for a frosty, the medium was small, and the small was tiny. I have no problem paying for quality, but not when they shrink everything
They changed the size of the drink you get with the 4 for $4, had to go back because they left several things off the salad and the fry container was only half full. Pretty bad experience. The nuggets still slap tho
My order was made wrong, the food was not hot, & no one was friendly. Not even manager! No smiles, no thank you's. Terrible waste of money! 2/3 years ago they were awesome, it certainly is not the same.
Exceptionally slow service with one person bouncing back and forth between cash register and back end.
Depending on the day, your order could be correct or not, nothing major but say you order an Asiago chicken sandwich but get it spicey they either forget the cheese or the sauce. Just need to work a little harder on the consistency.. This original 4 star review was made in June of 24, it is now March of 25 and I’m going to start subtracting stars for ever incorrect order.
It’s never consistent here service wise some days. They are fast and very nice other days they take forever to take your order or get your food out and it’s not fresh sometimes . Drive through was packed there nobody inside I decided to order inside and waited for about 10 minutes , the entire drive-through line was taken care of even though I had been standing there for 10 minutes and saw multiple new cars pull in and leave before anybody acknowledged me so I decided to go through the drive-through as well after all of that and they seem to take priority over people in the drive-through rather than people that are there in person inside of their restaurant so keep that in mind
Cashier was not knowledgeable about doing the rewards program. She had no idea of what she was doing. She had to get a manager to help her for the smallest things
I don't know why I keep giving this place a chance, my order is always lacking. Each time I got there I order the same thing, all I ask for is extra pickles and almost every time I get NO pickles not the normal amount but ZERO pickles and they never give me a receipt when I go through the drive thru so I can't prove that I ordered it, all the other fast food places toss the receipt in the bag...
Tried Curbside pickup using the Wendy app. It was a terrible experience. We waited without any contact from a Wendy employee for over 25 minutes. If they didn't already hit my credit card I would have left. Food was mediocre and forgettable.
Ordered twice on the app to pickup and yet I'm told my order doesn't exists. Frustrating how they seem not to care to help. I had to cancel and reorder, and still supposedly no order went through.
Have been there twice now...by far the absolute slowest service ever.... food is good, but slow service will prevent me from eating there again!
This place is a joke and im never going back. Just waited 25 min in drive thru to have them screw up my order. Everyone laughing inside while 10 cars piled up...worst Wendy's experience ever.
Old manager with bags under his eyes is rude, disrespectful, and acts like he could care less if you eat there. A complete jerk. With so many other options, I wont be back. And this is not the first time he acted that way. To the franchise owner, he is BAD for business.
This is the worst Wendy's restaurant in all of California, maybe the United States. It took 22 mins to get to order a meal. I was the 3rd car back. This place has a short drive thru so only two other cars can be at the window. So one car leaves, then the car waiting to order got to place their order. Another 5 to 8 mins go, the next car leaves and next car who's been waiting to place their order finally puts it in. Now it's my turn. Waiting, waiting several mins past, the car at the window leaves, then I finally got my order in. 22 mins to place an order. They have about the new fries, if it's not hot and crispy let them know and they will make fresh new ones. Mine were cold. I did not want to wait another 30 mins for fries. I left. If this is a corporate store, someone needs to get here and fix this whole staff. If it's a franchise, the owner needs to sell it to someone who knows how to run a business. That's all I can say!
I just don't know what happened here? I loved Wendy's. The one here in Newbury Park, I went to Wednesday night(02.02.22)& ordered the $5 Wendy's biggie bag which includes Bacon Double Stack, 4 pieces of chicken nuggets, one small fries, and one drink. When I got home to eat comfortably(I live like 5min away, off Rancho), my hamburger was super hard as a rock and cold like I just found that burger in my coats pocket as well as the fries. I won't be going back to this Wendy's anymore. Now if I go to another Wendy's and I get the same thing, I'll cut Wendy's out for good.
On July 12, 2015, at approximately 8:30 PM a young blonde lady between the age of 18 and 20 stole $8.75 from me at the drive thru. She had what appeared to be a crappy tattoo on for arm that she probably got in prison. She tried to give me two bags full of food. I told her that I only ordered a small chocolate frosty. She said "oh I'm sorry they just hand me bags here," I asked her "to verify that she did not over charge me for the order." You looked down at the receipt and said "that she only charged me a DOLLAR SIXTY." She handed me the frosty with no spoon, and did not even give me the receipt. She stole a meal from. DO NO GO TO THIS WENDYS LOCATION THEY HAVE DISHONEST EMPLOYEES WHO STEAL FROM YOU!!!! I called my bank this morning and the customer service representative told me that she charged me $10.35. Now I have to dispute the overcharge with my bank. I suspect that she overcharged me so that she could have a meal on me.
Unfortunately, this location is the pits. Struggles to get orders correct, doesn't listen to customers and rude. Hamburger they use doesn't taste right. Last resort choice.
Chicken smelled and tasted like dirty dish rag And would it hurt to change the oil every once and a while, fries might be hit but that taste won't leave your mouth for a while.
The person taking my order could not understand English and was clearly reading off. A script because I ordered a 7 times with him. Asking over and over again whether I wanted the double single or Triple triple but eventually could not understand and gave me the single even though I ordered the triple and the chili order was wrong
I am not one to go out of my way to make a bad review but I'm so upset and angry how I was treated at the Newbury park location went to drive through he kept saying what I can't hear you so I went inside thinking maybe there was a problem with speaker the guy on the speaker just stared at me with a mean look and walked passed me not saying a word then a lady came to register said nothing staring at me and yelled oil change and then walked a way and yelled at another employee across the store that was sitting down eating take a order the employee probably on a break threw there food down angry and yelled 10 min by that time I was so upset I walked out I work down the street and when people would ask where to get food around town I would send them that way.never again !
Just ordered through door dash and ordered a 10 piece spicy nuggets which we only got 2 spicy nuggets the rest were Regular nuggets, a 10 piece of Regular nuggets which were freezing cold, a large fry which was barely half filed, and 2 jr bacon cheese burgers that were literally inedible i didnt realize this until the doordash guy was gone. I'm so disappointed how this order turned out especially considering it was close to 40 dollars for a bunch of food we didn't want.

Worst service and quality of food. They don't get your order right and the food taste old and reheated. Customer service here is by far the worst I have experienced. For what is being charged nowadays you would at least expect decent food.
They don't know how to follow basic directions, and will scam you out of any drink you order. All drinks will be at least 70% ice, no matter how many times you ask for light ice. Love paying 4 bucks for a cup of ice. Awesome work guys! If you are not allowed to do less ice, communicate that instead of saying" okay, light ice for you". I expected to have a drink to help hydrate me after my medication dehydrated me, and after I drove off I'm stuck with a cup of ice. How does that help me?
I was on this Wendy’s around 3 o’clock was raining. All two doors upfront were closed and we had to go around the store. One door was open. We were there for five minutes waiting for service and then an employee came out and said that the lobby is closed drive thru service only. There were no signs at the doors saying that only drive thru was operating. And on top of it the employee said that if we wait a little longer someone would take our order. We were already there waiting and they wanted us to wait more.
