Sam's Fantastic Grill

Great kabobs and shawarma. Reasonable prices compared to other Mediterranean places. Service can be hit or miss but chicken kabobs are still worth it.

After a long day at the beach and the 405 freeway Sam's Flaming was a very refreshing experience. With great potions fantastic service, the food was fresh and the chicken fell off the bone. Excellent customer service. We loved it!

I arrived at this location about 20 minutes prior to them closing. An older woman open the door and immediately I felt the warm welcome from her. She took my order fast and I was out with my two very yummy plates in less than five minutes and when I got home food was still nice and warm, very good. Thank you!

Sam's is always a favorite. The shawarma is my favorite. They were out of it by the time I got there on this trip, but they were so great about it, even calling other locations for me. Can't say enough about Sam's.

Overall incredible eats, got the chicken shawarma plate with fried and it was perfectly cooked with plenty of food. The hummus is some of the best I have ever had. Really great service and answered any questions.

The cashier was on the phone dealing with personal issues the entire time. The large trash can have been replaced by one meager waste basket. The food is great, but there's no music or atmosphere. Do they care about customer experience?

Food is pretty good. Service can definitely improve. Older gentleman with gray hair can definitely be nicer, a smile goes a long way. I won’t be going back. Customer service is a big deal to me.

I placed a chicken kebab plate for pick at 645pm the person tells me it’ll be 15-20 mins. I get there at 7pm, I wait an additional 15 mins with no reason why I’m given the same wait time as 15 minutes ago. No “here’s a drink while you wait”. What’s the point ordering ahead. So I try to enjoy my food but out the 6 pieces of chicken 2 of them are half the size of the rest. The rice tastes like it was warmed up in the microwave. Not worth the $16, I’ll have to find a new kebab place.

The food is good. But today I had this woman taking the order that should be fired. All I asked for was a chicken kabob plate with 2 extra chicken kabobs on the side. Wow..... Then she proceeded to explain how many pieces were there. Who the heck cares. Just sell me the kabobs. I get there, and the order is all wrong and she's arguing with me in front of other customers about my order. It's like... Look lady.... 4 chicken kabobs. 2 in the plate and 2 extra. How hard is that? This after I had to argue with her for 10 minutes when I placed the order to go 30 minutes before I got there. I show up to pick up my food and it started all over agai! I had to go to the big menu on the wall and point in front of everyone and say ,"look....What does your menu say. $8.99 for a chicken kabob. Is there any mention of the number of pieces? Just give me 4 chicken kabobs". It was such a a a hassle I said screw it and left. What a total waste of time. I wish the owner was there to see the bs I had to publicly deal with. Yes the food is good... But the owner is hiring idiots to work there.

Aside from that, I placed the order ahead of time. I even gave them an extra 10 minutes from my pickup time. When I got there, I was told to wait. Only after 5 minutes, did they start to making my order. I was treated so coldly. If there’s ever a misunderstanding, kindness leads to resolution. She was so quick to accuse me, and enjoyed that moment. I just hope that interaction was personally targeted towards me, and not a group of people that look like me (Look at other reviews). Of course, this goes without saying, I’ll never be returning here.

Raw food!! Do not give them your money to get raw uncooked food. The fries are cooked in old oil, the chicken is old and not cooked all the way. Called to let them know what happened and the middle eastern woman started yelling. Learn how to take responsibility when you are not cooking food properly. The Food and Safety Officer issues you a grade based on your cleanliness, how properly you store, prepare and handle food. I would give you an F without a doubt. I will forward this incident to the proper authorities because this is type of improper way of handling food can cause so many various illnesses!
