Busy but fast drive thru was being run very well.
I stopped by this McDonald’s recently and had a really positive experience. The food was what you’d expect, but the service made it stand out. One of the employees, Eric, went out of his way to be helpful and friendly. He handled my request quickly and with a smile, and even took a moment to chat. It’s rare to come across that kind of customer service these days, and it definitely made my visit more enjoyable.
I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience with the employees and have always received my order in a timely fashion. Eric is a particularly welcoming employee and it's always nice seeing him when I visit this McDonalds.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Nipomo, today is the best experience I have had here. The dining room is now open to public and they are fully staffed with excellent help, food is delicious, and breakfast was served until 11:00am. I just finished my breakfast and now I could order my lunch to go, excellent! Thank you for listening to your customers and making our experience here so delightful, god bless! 😎👍🏻

Food was ok but I was surprised by the service I received from one of the employees. I asked him for extra BBQ sauce and he wasted no time and brought it to me with a smile. We then spoke a bit and he was great, his name was Eric. More people need to give service like that.
There is often something missing or my order isn't right even when I use the app to order ahead of time. Most of the employees are pretty friendly but there are a couple that have made me wish I went to wendys lol. Its fast food though so I don't expect much but with prices the way they are its pretty frustrating getting home to find out they forgot something.
I was very disappointed when I went to McDonald's today. The size of the filet of fish was very small. No one is watching the counter they are relying on kiosk and internet sales, people that walk up don't have a chance. When I asked for a refill of soda pop they declined. I was denied. I do enjoy the taste of their diet Coke but the service and the lack of refills is disturbing. My wife had the double quarter pounder with cheese and she had to use a napkin to wipe off the grease. I do not see us going back unless it's an emergency.
FIRE WHOEVER WAS WORKING ON THE TO-GO MEALS ON 2/8. YALL MESSED UP MY ORDER SO BAD YALL FORGOT TWO OF MY ITEMS. YALL SUCK
It was ridiculous it said the order was ready 5 minutes before it was and there was three guys waiting and I was they ignored us and I was the one that told them to go maybe go on the kiosk for the app and then when they gave me the food they ignored the customers so unprofessional
I went through the drive through and ordered one of their breakfast sandwiches that said it was going to come with hash Browns and I also ordered a large orange juice the orange juice as a substitute for coffee. They charged over $4 for the orange juice. The breakfast sandwich was very small and hard and there was no hash Browns. They made me wait for the orange juice because they said the machine needed to be filled. I ended up going back into the restaurant returned the food and requested my money back. The charge was over $11 for sub par food and a non complete order. Had I driven away and not checked my order I would have missed that it was not complete. When I went into the restaurant to ask about the missing hash browns the people were talking bad about how I had pulled away without the orange juice. Their attitude and poor quality were also a reason for returning the food. I've never been a huge fan of McDonald's I thought I would try it this time and BOTH the food and attitude of this location reminds me now of how and I why I do not go to McDonald's especially for breakfast this restaurant was totally rude and the food even though I did not eat it was of poor quality. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.
I get you work at McDonald’s so you probably can’t read at a high level but please take the time to make sure your high employees double check they’re putting the orders together correctly. I hate paying to have a crappy expierence. DO BETTER!!!
No one there. Ordered two fish burgers, fries and a coke. Fish burger cooked to a dark brown. Bun burnt. No Tarter sauce but a dime sized speck. We were starving. And not complainers. Did they shrink them again? ) Fish was small in the bun! Had to look for it... We could barely chew it. Husband told worker on the way out how bad it was.... lady said.," ok ". End of story. Late lunch. No one there. Its usually a ok McDonald's. Today was, like a Never Going Back Moment.
It would be crazy if the employees could put the pickup food in the pickup section but that's just not the world
I ordered 2 of the 2 cheeseburgers meals thru the drive thru. I drove home and discovered there was no cheese on any of the burgers. I drove back and they made my order again, but no apologies for having to drive back. I asked if they could compensate for the extra trip and they threw in an apple pie. I arrived home only to discover that once again, no cheese on my cheeseburgers. I drove back again (3rd visit now) and the girl told me "I thought you said no cheese" (if that was the case, why was i not offered compensation for the price difference) and I replied, that yes I said that my cheeseburgers had no cheese. Another girl confirmed the conversation from the first time I came back. They made it again and a man came out to apologize for the confusion. I requested some sort of compensation for having to come back again. A different guy responded, with attitude, that I was already given compensation the first time (so I guess my wasted time and gas only matters with my first return with their mistake). I explained that it was in the bag of mistake food i had just given back to them. They gave me back the same apple pie, now old and cold. Went home irritated with the situation and lost my appetite to eat my food. Super disappointed with how it was handled and would only return to this location as a last resort.
On June 8th, around 8:10 AM, my husband and I went through the drive-thru for a quick breakfast. After placing our order, we pulled up to the first window but accidentally missed it, so I reversed to get back. The employee at that window reacted rudely, using hand gestures to show her disgust because we passed her window. I apologized, but she responded with annoyance. If this is what $20 an hour gets you in customer service these days, I am truly disheartened. When we reached the second window, however, the young man who handed me my food was very pleasant. The employee at the first window could learn a lot from him about how to treat customers politely instead of rudely and dismissively. Additionally, when I checked the bag, the food I received was not what I had ordered. The Ham and Egg McMuffin was lukewarm, and both the muffin and the ham were over-dried, showing signs of having sat under the heat lamp for too long. The hash brown was hard and overcooked.
The staff here are great. The food is fine. But this location is awful if you're trying to actually eat there. I have no idea who decided to remodel it the way they have but it's just terrible. You HAVE to order from the stupid kiosk. Which is not only annoying, but takes forever, and older people have trouble, so then the staff has to sit there explaining step by step "click on burger click on this click on that blah blah blah" the whole time when they could just TAKE. THE. ORDER. VERBALLY. WHY is this a thing. Then they took away the soda machine, and now you can't get refills. There are no bathrooms anymore either, so good luck on that especially if you have a kid with you. and then the seating area is bizarre and uncomfortable. Please just put it back how it was. This is seriously the worst McDonalds floorplan ever. The traffic flow is terrible, they have the people taking food to the drive through POPPING out of doors around blind corners, and I've walked through the door and almost been run into several times. It's a mess. Go to the AG one instead or SM where it's actually a normal restaurant instead of this mess
