A little off the beaten path, but well worth it! My husband and I are visiting family from out of town and out of our week long trip I can say with 100% certainty this was our highlight. Dan was our waiter and he was just wonderful. From reccomending probably the best appetizer special I've EVER had (pictured with my review) to just AMAZING drinks, one of which was the Birds and the Bees also pictured with bee pollen on it and Spa Water which is off menu but Dan recommended to my mother as something the bar tender was proud of (as he should be as it was so refreshing and just great) all the way to the dinner. Dinner was a range of probably the BEST duck my husband or I have ever had at a restaurant to a beautiful salmon meal with risotto to DIE FOR. I cannot recommend this place enough. It may be new but it is so worth the trip and every cent you spend here. I simply cannot reccomend it enough.

I booked this place for myself and some other friends for a total number of 13 people. First off- it was the only nice place I could find on OpenTable that would accept a reservation of this size. Secondly, usually with a party of that size you are waiting for ages to order drinks/appetizers and receive your check. No such unfortunate luck here. Never once were we wondering where our waitress was- we left on time, full & tipsy. The food itself was phenomenal! The carpaccio came with the exact number of crostinis needed & the sauce added a unique flavor. I ordered the salmon with risotto and it was cooked to perfection and the exact amount of flavor. My husband ordered the rib eye & absolutely loved it. He split it with a friend (you can see the size). Everyone seemed extremely satisfied at the end of the meal. The only critique I would add was more vegetarian options :) Other than that I will be back!

Food was phenomenal! Amazing Aussie bartender and wine selection is tip tier! Had a very tasty old fashion!

Great private room, perfect for private events!! Delicious food guaranteed starting with amazing appetizers and outstanding entrees! Halibut was 10 out of 10. Scallop crudo and pork shank wings (Jamaican jerk flavor) are must try. Will be back and definitely will spread the word about this place 🙌🏼

Went for my birthday dinner and had a great experience! They have an awesome speakeasy in the back for large parties! The food was all delicious, great cocktails and service, thank you Jeff!!

Great addition to Chelsea/West Ghent neighborhood! The bartender was FABULOUS, we had several different vodka drinks and the appetizers were delicious! We went super early so we didn't have dinner , but we will be back for dinner soon.

Great ambiance. Came in for a light snack. Decided to try the Pork Shank Wings with Sweet BBQ sauce... I mean pigs don't fly but these were delicious! Next time I'll have to sample more of the menu.

honestly 10/10 experience, even on opening night! the lemon chicken was sooo delicious. we are so excited to have a new spot in the neighborhood! the staff/owners/management seems so welcoming and accepting to all different types of people, which is another great sign.

I went for my birthday last week and truly enjoyed it. Good service, great food, and great drinks. I recommend the spicy melon margarita.

This place is awesome! We came on Thursday and it was burger night. It was the best burger I’ve ever had. Josie is amazing as well!

This place was not close to where I live but we were seeing a show at the little theater of Norfolk and it was right near by. The drinks were exceptional and the food was perfect. I had the filet and and my wife had the Lemon chicken. Both of us were saying it was the best meal we have had in a long time. My wife drank the crystal ball and I had the spicy melon margarita and both were exceptional. We cannot wait to return.

First visit here. The food was fantastic. We had the 508 burger, salmon, lemon chicken, mussels appetizer and a tuna dip. Nice presentation. For the money, you really get a great dining experience. Casual enough for a group of friends but absolutely fitting for a nice dinner out. Highly recommend.

Awesome place to grab cocktails or a nice dinner. We ordered the scallop gnocchi and the fillet. Both dishes were amazing. We’ve sat at a table and in the bar and service is always amazing. Highly recommend

I was seeking a space to host a bridal shower and happened upon this restaurant on a google search. I’m absolutely pleased with my decision. The private room was perfect for my event! Jess, who was my main contact for the venue, was very responsive any time I had questions leading up to the day and was incredibly kind and professional. The day of, we had Joanne as our main server and I was impressed by how organized she was handling my large party. Everyone RAVED about the venue’s look and food! The entire staff and team made the day perfect. If you’re looking for a place to host a private event, look no further! 10/10!!!

Had dinner here last night and we are definitely coming back soon. We had the lemon chicken and the tuna and were both impressed. The Brussels sprouts app is also amazing. Great ambience and service was great. We wish it was closer to us in VB!

This place was beautiful and the atmosphere matched. The host showed us around to the new speakeasy area and pointed out the changes which was a fun touch. The food was wonderful! Highly recommend the bisque and the duck two ways. The cocktails were great as well! Will definitely become a staple for us!

We had dinner here last night with friends and I cannot say enough good things about it! Topnotch staff and service, cool vibe, and the food and drinks were amazing! In addition to the main menu, there is a lighter fare menu, so there's something at all price points. They also have weekday specials (Taco Tuesday, 1/2 price entre on Wednesdays and a Smashburger special on Thursdays). What an awesome new addition to the Chelsea District! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. I'm already planning my next visit.

After our good friends told us multiple times how good Taco Tuesday was here, we finally came to try it for ourselves and we were not disappointed! Hands down the best tacos I’ve had in the 757. The best part, they are only $3-$4 each! Me and my fiancé in total got 9 tacos, a margarita and a piece of cheesecake for less than $60. We have been here on other nights for their regular menu (which is just as good), but this will now be our weekly spot for tacos! They also have a $10 burger and fries special on Thursdays we are going to try eventually. Try this place! You won’t regret it.

Went here before a show at Chrysler! What a gem! Food was delicious and reasonably priced and Erica was extremely accommodating. She made a special drink for me and was very celebratory about my husband’s birthday! I also love it when they cut things in half when we split them! We will return!

First time here. Erika and I LOVED this place. Excellent service by the server on her second day working at the place. The food was outstanding. We had a Crispy Chicken Sammy with Buffalo Sauce and the Crab Cakes. Both meals were served at the right temperature and exactly as ordered. The Sammy was a perfect combination with the Buffalo sauce. The crabcakes looked awesome on the plate and tasted even better.

We popped in as a last minute dinner, and were blown away! The cocktails were delicious, the food was amazing and the service was awesome. Super friendly bar tender and server! Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back!

Best food, service and drinks I’ve had at a restaurant in quite some time. Appetizers were outstanding….we had mussels, the mushroom tart and Brussel sprout salad. For entrees we went with seared salmon and scallop entrees which were outstanding and the desserts were awesome as well. Our waiter Dan was great and tied it all together with great knowledge and personality. Cool chill vibe in the building with great music in the background. We will be back!!

Came in on Tuesday and had tacos, brussel sprouts and chili. Everything was absolutely delicious and unique. We sat at the bar and were served by Trey, who was very friendly and attentive. 10/10 coming back soon

508 has been in the area for a while and just revamped their menu...I would highly recommend going for lunch or dinner! Cocktails are great (especially the walnut old fashioned) and sercive is awesome. Chris, Dan and Chelsea are so welcoming and friendly and are always willing to make your drink, food and experience worth it.

Not going to lie… we were headed to The Birch after tacos and totally forgot it was closed on Tuesdays. Must’ve been a blessing in disguise because I’m pretty sure I just found my new favorite spot! Great atmosphere! Super friendly people, great tunes and the cocktails were delicious! Had we not just eaten dinner we would’ve ordered everything on the menu! Cannot wait to get back and try some dishes! Already talking my coworkers up on a party!

The vibe was really chill and the decor was nice. The food was excellent. The muscles appetizer was unlike anything I've had before and was delicious. The bartenders were awesome and made the experience great. Will definitely be coming back.

I highly recommend this place. Not only is the food on point, but the atmosphere is relaxed and fun and what you want, no matter the mood. This establishment is also owned and operated by some great people and staff. I will be back, and I will be bringing people. They accommodate everyone, and it’s definitely worth giving it a shot, because I guarantee you will be hooked.

This is the perfect spot for a mid-week date night! To ight was my first visit and the food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic! I tried the duck fat fries and raw oysters to start, and the scallop entree ( 5 stars ) with cheesecake and pumpkin cannolis for dessert. There wasn’t a single item I didn’t love.

Amazing doesn't begin to describe this place. The waitstaff, especially Dan, were amazing and attentive. Dan also made our drinks exactly how we imagined them and they were phenomenal. The food was out of this world, smoaked Oysters Rockefeller, steak with sage rice, salmon piccata, and the most surprisingly satisfying crème brûlée we've had to date. 100% recommend coming here.

Such a funky, out of the way place that was great for date night, but would be a good stop for more casual-type evening. We went for my birthday dinner & it was amazing. Appetizers, dinner, dessert & cocktails were all excellent (surf & turf ribeye was on point). Our bartender/server was attentive, knowledgeable & funny (as always). Highly recommended.

Food was good: we ordered the tuna bites, wedge salad, Mexican hamburger and crab cake trio, and a few cocktails. We had a very sweet and attentive waitress, the atmosphere was kinda chill, and the food was a bit lackluster- not exciting, but not bad, just okay. The walnut old fashion was the most memorable and delicious item I had.

Describing this place in one word....AWESOME!!! Chris the bartender greeted and seated us as soon as we walked in. The restaurant has a cool ambiance and nice decor. I order the chowder (appetizer) and the Beet pasta. I've never heard of it, so I HAD to try and I was not disappointed. 🔥🔥🔥 My wife had a scallop dish that I don't remember the name of, but it was delicious. I've never had scallops cooked as delicious delicate as these were. Definitely stop in if you have the chance! Cheers!

You guys seriously need a marketing team. This is unfortunately a hidden gem, and I would hate to see this go away because no one knows it exists. I only found it because friend recommended to me. The food is like no where else in the region.

When the food finally came out it was good. My daughter’s Salmon was mushy and inedible. He gave us 30% off of the dish, should’ve comped it.

It was overall... ok. The Seared Sesame Salmon appetiser was the best part. Service was attentive and friendly and gave discounts on drinks for our friend's birthday, which was super thoughtful. My husband and two of our friends had the burger, my girl friend had the waiter-recomended special *he raved about* and still had to ask for Salt and Peeper, and I had the wedge. All the boys said their burgers were good, but under seasoned. I tried my friend's special and it was ok; homemade pasta was good, but again, under seasoned. My wedge was ok. Just overall, ok, but not worth the price.

Please update the hours on your website and the advertised banner outside of your restaurant. Would have loved the experience. The staff was kind but the expectation of the restaurant being open was disappointing.

508 Crafthouse is new so they are still working it out. We went on a Friday night and were surprised they did not have main ingredients for their cocktails (Grapefruit juice). Someone probably should have gone to the store before they opened. We ordered the Pork Wings which were good, but we wanted them Jamaican Jerk style which ended up being a spicy BBQ sauce not a dry rub. I ordered the Mango Margarita and sent it back. The waiter (who was great) said they were out of a lot of the cocktail ingredients and not just the Grapefruit juice so I ordered wine. I thought about ordering the Lemon Chicken and a woman at another table had ordered it and recommended not ordering the dish because the Chicken was dry. I went with the Lamb Chops and asked to switch out the whipped potatoes for sweet potatoes which they were able to do. The waiter said they would be cubed. Unfortunately they were not cooked in the middle. So again, hit and miss but hopefully they will get the kinks worked out. We live locally and want to support the restaurant.

⭐️ 1 Star — Absolutely unacceptable experience! We had a reservation and were still seated at a bar table with no real service. What is the point of a reservation if you’re going to be stuck in the bar area with no server and no attention? It took forever before anyone even came by to take drink orders. Then even longer to take our food order. After that, we waited over 30 minutes just to get a salad — which arrived without dressing — and no one ever came back to check on us. Over an hour into the meal, two people at our table finally got their food… then the third. When I asked where mine was, the server told me they were out of carrots and “didn’t know what to do.” That was the reason my entrée was just sitting in the kitchen instead of being served. Seriously? Just bring the food and fix the side later — don’t let it die in the window. When my “fresh catch” finally arrived (ordered medium), it was so overcooked I could barely eat it — and the missing side never showed up at all. I asked to speak with the manager. The server said “we’re just really busy,” even though the bar area was basically empty. And the manager? Never came. We paid and left. I would never return to this restaurant — not even for a free meal. The service was disorganized, careless, and completely unacceptable.
