Such a chill little breakfast nook / cafe. This place is a FIVE STAR, LOCAL FAMILY-OWNED, HIDDEN GEM. I was getting something installed on my car across the street and had to wait, so I decided to check this place out. I didn’t know what I wanted to eat, but I thought I was in the mood for a late breakfast. I didn’t want to read the menu for too long because I always end up getting the same things—usually breakfast sandwiches or eggs Benedict or something like that. I kinda just picked something on the menu. I read a few things that it had and it didn’t sound bad so I ordered it. It was a plate with 1 fried egg, some rice, and 3 chicken patties. I can’t find the name on the menu photos, but it was something like “Longhasa plate” or something like that. As I waited for my plate, I noticed how nice, tranquil, quiet and relaxing this establishment was. I also noticed how young the gentleman that took my order and prepared my plate with total care and attention seemed to be. And yet, he was cooking my eggs and patties with full focus, full transparency, and total professionalism—just a few feet from me. I didn’t order any coffee because I already had my travel mug. So here’s the funny story: The gentleman hands me my meal, and honestly it didn’t look bad, I just wasn’t sure why I hard ordered a plate with rice. I felt like I maybe should’ve taken more time to read what I was ordering… but it was a little too late. I got up and walked over to the hot sauces and grabbed one that looked good, because I like hot sauce and initially thought I’d like some. So I try the egg. It was actually cooked perfectly and I didn’t even tell him how I like my yolk (cooked but still runny). Then I try a tiny piece of patty—and at first I was caught off guard because this wasn’t anything I had ever eaten before. It was sweet, and delicious…. And that’s when it occurred to me… Mix it all up. And yes, that was the secret to the plate. Instructions should come with this plate. Sooo dang good! And I never touched my hot sauce! I really enjoyed breaking up the patties into bits and doing the same with the egg, and then mixing the rice. And the dish actually comes with a little salsa container with a sweet relish—and it’s definitely meant to be mixed in as well. I think the chicken patties had some nuts in them. I’m not sure, so maybe careful with nut allergies—maybe ask first. I’m guessing they would warn if there was an allergen in their food, but it was delicious and I’m not allergic to nuts so I’m not worried about it, but maybe you are so double check. Egg was cooked to perfection. I wasn’t even asked how I wanted it. Maybe they should ask, but they didn’t need to with me. Such a chill little spot on Reseda blvd. I saw about 3 other people in there all on their laptops. I was the loudest guy there—praising the cook, and the business. Very reasonably priced. Plenty of seating. Son was cook, his sister was backup & support. Little bro made a quick appearance said hi to big bro as he worked. Bro acknowledged his little sibling lovingly. I have been to cafes all over—San Francisco, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Vegas, New York, Korea, Colombia… and this one was as good as they get. 5 stars.

12/18/2025 This place is own by a Fil-Am. I tried their breakfast burrito and Abuelita iced mocha. The burrito came with "Tapa", eggs, and hash brown. The portion was actually big and it was good.

Went here for a leisurely breakfast, was surprised at how empty it was because the coffee was really solid and the customer service was lovely/people working there were so nice. I got a honey lavender latte, my partner got a smores latte, both very nice. For food, partner got the cookie butter french toast and I got the breakfast burrito. TBH, the burrito wasn’t great. It was too flaky and dry. There was cheese crusted on the outside, but instead of adding texture, it made it a lot drier, so I’d recommend just putting it on the inside. Also, some investment in actual salsa would be a big plus. The french toast was solid, though. Overall, the coffee and service were great, but I probably wouldn’t spend money on the food again.

got some coffee after getting breakfast in the area. can get a little stuffy inside on a warmer day i'm pretty picky about my ube, but i think the iced ube with espresso hit the spot for me on a hot day. would go back to try oh ther drinks! i think the regular ube latte was a little sweet for my tastes. solid spot!

Yummy new flavors! Ordered an iced Campfire latte with 1/2 sweetener and a Butter Cookie French Toast. Very tasty. I love eating the marshmallows and sipping on the latter, gotta try it hot. Cute little cafe with lots of artwork inside. Staff was pleasant and helped me decide what to get. The Cookie Butter French toast was delicious and not too sweet; hot and soft inside, slightly crunchy crust, covered with powdered sugar dripping & dripping with cookie hit cookie butter.. Haha. Its located almost at the corner and there's a small parking lot on the back, or you can park on the street.

*Edit All the stuff below is still true, but I just wanted y'all to know they are adding UBE WAFFLES to the menu. They let me try em. 🥹 Pray for me y'all. I'm gonna die fat and happy. * Good vibes. Real Mom and Pop shop. Veteran Owned. They show case local artists. They know you by name. They love the neighborhood. They promote other local small business, they buy as much locally as they can. Good wifi. Dog Friendly. Be careful because The Cookie Butter Latte and The Nutella Latte are addicting. The 4 different stuffed French Toasts and The "Sean Burrito" are guaranteed crowd pleasers. If you order the pour over Reggie will bust out a scale and grind you fresh beans and lovingly stream the water with all the care and detail of Michaelangelo carving David from the marble.

One of the best things I've ever drank, honestly! I'm from the Valley originally and was just passing through while on a business trip. This was delicious, creamy, subtle, and a bit sweet with a truly gorgeous espresso taste. The service is fabulous and the owner was so so sweet and hospitable. Wish I was in town for longer so I could go to the Filipino Night that they're having on the third Friday in June! I will be stopping by for this latte as long any time I'm in town!

LOVED LOVED LOVED this place. If you like good coffee and community based euntruprenuers, Reggie and his wife have the spot for you. We drove from LA to the valley to check this place out and I'm sure we'll make the drive again. Reggie made us two iced pour overs during a rush and still was able to tend to everyone in line with the best customer service and attention they deserve. The coffee was great, the guests were great and our overall experience was amazing. I really really recommend this place.

I recently stumbled upon this hidden gem and what can I say but wow! I had the cookie butter Latte and the Nutella Latte and damn they were bomb!!! Also had their breakfast burrito and it was amazing!!! This is definitely a must try place for anyone. Above all, the service was the best. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she was so friendly and cool! A place filled with people with great attitude such as hers is the reason why so many continue to keep coming along with their delicious foods and drinks!!! Highly recommended!!!!

My favorite coffee shop in Northbridge area. It is a family owned business. The owners are very friendly and attentive. What i love most about this shop is that they help out the community in so many different ways such as hosting events ans gathering or contributing towards the community. My favorite drink is the tres leches latte and for food is the Sean burrito. Highly recommend it. My daughter's really like the avocado toast. 🥑

An amazing local cafe, tucked away just south of Nordhoff, for a quaint & quiet morning coffee accompanied with an apple tart. Great atmosphere and even better coffee. A change of pace from your face paced conglomerate coffee joint.

Chill coffee shop with a passion for single-origin brews and pour-overs. I had an Ethiopian drip that was floral and complex, and the barista explained the roast with genuine enthusiasm. There’s good outdoor seating and free Wi-Fi. It's not overrun with influencers or TikTokers, just regulars who love quality coffee. A rare find in the Valley.

Nice vibes, very low-key kind of shop. The baristas were a little aloof and not super friendly, but I believe my cashier was new so I’m not super upset about it. Keep in mind I believe there is a charge if you pay with card. Coffee itself was great. I ordered a vanilla iced latte. It’s strong and not too sweet. I overall enjoyed it. Vibe is great and there’s a small vendor selling books and stickers.

The coffee that I got - a dirty ube latte - was really delish! I don't think the AC was really on, though, and it was like 95 degrees outside with the doors on both entrances open. I was starting to get too warm, so I went to my next destination where it was cooler.

First time visiting this place. I was excited to try this food because it looks good on the pics but my experience was not so good. I order to dine in and to my surprise i was serve the cappuccino in a cup to go 😒. I ordered the classic french toast and my son order the breakfast burrito. Prices on the menu are not the same they charge me,it was higher. His was good,my toast was ok could have been better there was no powder sugar served with no syrup. The atmosphere is ok if you look pass the tables and stuffs laying at the entrance on the back and in the corners. Could be much better. Personally is not a place i would came back.

Such a cute little cafe with very friendly staff:) My first time here and I ordered the Tres Leches Latte and my sister ordered the Samoan Latte. Neither latte tasted like their name, which is unfortunate because they sound AMAZING. The Tres Leches Latte was meh.. just tasted like a regular latte with cinnamon and the Samoan Latte was pretty delicious, but it tasted like a chocolate latte and had coconut shavings in it.

3.5 Stars: No food this trip but a quaint little place. The service was very nice 😊. I do wish they would have more than one size for hot drinks. The cup they have is a bit small. And, just a side note, when leaving for the day and closing up you might want to check your paper product supply to be sure you have toilet paper for the restroom the next day. 🙁 But, all in all this place is recommended - good coffee.

No vegan options with their breakfast menu. When I told them I was deaf they didn’t make an effort to type or write. The cappuccino isn’t that pretty. The pour is boring. There’s a dead opossum in the front of the shop so the smell inside shop is not pleasant. Espresso is tasty but they could do so much more with their cafe. Won’t come back.

The food was greasy and very basic. I ordered a breakfast croissant that had bits of chewy, undercooked bacon. The latte was fine. Tables, floor and bathroom were dirty and nobody was cleaning up anything after customers. It’s way overpriced! I paid $25 for a breakfast that would have been half that at Starbucks. The service was friendly and it’s a good place to work but I’m not coming back.

If you actually like the taste of espresso, or appreciate properly frothed milk, don't come here. I ordered a cappuccino and it came out looking like this. Tasted burnt and totally lacking texture. This is actually worse than Starbucks. I make better espresso drinks than this on my tiny machine at home, with no professional experience working in a cafe. If you want actually good tasting coffee, drive the extra 10 miles for a place that employs baristas, like Verve or Enigma. Or do yourself a favor and move to a city where you don't have to drive 20 miles to get a halfway decent cappuccino. If you like coffee in the sense that you want syrup blended into a drink that probably has caffeine in it, I'm not sure why you would pick this place over Starbucks. Cafe Aficionado is not a place for the coffee aficionado.
