Good food and good service... But be aware it's a small place
Everything is always so tender, so delicious. I love eating here.
No matter what time I go to get food there it's always fresh and delicious. Best latin food ever around the area.
True Dominican food. Reminds me when I visited the DR. I had the Tres Golpes con Arroz con Gandules y ensalata de papa. My ex-suegta made this for me almost every day when I was in the DR. I will be back. Been back twice and this is good food at a good price. Service is quick and the staff is friendly. Just learn to order\speak Spanish.
Whewww honey , I am writing this post and enjoying my platter !!!! Talk about authentic Dominican food . It’s not a place to sit down, this is a grab and go, but the food is good, has a nice spicy kick, melts in your mouth. That chicken platter with rice, gravy from the stew chicken , and platanos, 10/10. Come eat the right way.
Food was great and the ambiance at this place is beautiful. Our waiter was just the best. The portions were quite generous and the pricing affordable. I will definitely be back.
I have been going to eat here for over 8 years . The food is always fresh and so delicious, Just like my moms cooking . The staff is great! Keep up the great work !
OMG!!! The Pernil was so tender that she didnt use a knife...she used tongs! I'm on my lunch break right now literally going crazy eating this good food. I have been eating Latin food since I was about 6 years old, and I haven't tasted food this good since then. This food was definitely cooked with love.
Hands down is the best spot in Philly for Spanish/Dominican food!! All these years they've stayed consistent being friendly/family oriented, very clean and serving delicious food with huge servings and great prices. Me and my family been going to them for years and even now after moving out of Philly a couple years ago we still stop there at least 2x's a month. We stopped doing Freddy n Tony's after we found them. More of a home feel there. We use to just takeout but now we eat in there. Love this spot and the family that owns it 💖
One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food was fantastic. Staff was ready to listen to our needs. The atmosphere is very nice. I will be back very soon! I highly recommend.
The food, fantastic!! The lady behind the counter, (though limited with her English) Manages to serve very well taking orders in English or Spanish. The seating is outdated so it doesn't exactly invite you to stay and eat. That being said, we took enough to feed the kids and there were no complaints on the food whatsoever. I would definitely eat from there again.
Food was decent. They only had fried pork and the pastelitos were dry and made hours before I ordered. Better Spanish food options in the area
I went in the get some Dominican food and I felt uncomfortable I was just standing waiting for someone to take my order ,no one asked to assist me and when I walked to the counter most of the ladies walked away, I asked the lady that was still in front of me if they only had fried chicken left and she continued to look down and say ummhh, I went to the dominican restaurant about 3 blocks up and was politely serviced and the food was good!!! This place has to treat the people that live in the community a little better no matter the race smh
Drove 40 min to get to this place I wanted chicharrón de pollo with tostones. I asked for 2 orders of that and 2 Mori soñando. Tostones wasn’t fresh, Mori soñando tasted horrible. Salad was weird to only thing was really good was the chicken i end up grabbing 2 sodas so I paid $42 with out taxes and they said they was gonna take out the drink they never gave me money back. Was a disappointment people were nice. Suggestion Fresh tostones, real mori soñando and a real garlic sauce for tostones don’t give people garlic powder
I went to restaurant for boneless chicken and they told me they only serve it on Tuesdays , so for a month I went 4 different times to get it and each time they had a excuse/lie on why they didn’t have instead of just telling me they don’t serve it anymore or whatever the reason is why they never have it. Idk if they think I’m going to try something else I don’t eat chicken with the bones just a personal preference so it’s aggravating traveling to the store 4 different weeks 4 different tuesdays at 4 different times just for them not to ever have it . It’s unprofessional and I find it disrespectful I wanna know the point of lying the one time they said it was too late when I came at 3pm so I waited another week and came at 1 and the lady said it was sold out at this point I’m convinced their just playing with me and laughing at me idk but yeah I ate here once and never again .
They don’t have English speaker and I went to get rice and potato ball and there was a roach crawling on the thing they scoop the food out of and she wiped it away like it was nothing no glove or anything. Then when I said something about it she just continued like she didn’t see it even though she swiped it away herself , I don’t speak Spanish but she seemed to be upset I didn’t want to continue my order after seeing a roach crawling next to the rice.
