Eating at Carl's I have been eating at Carl's Junior since the Superstar cost $0.35 and we walk 2 miles to get there this place is just as good as I remember when I was a little kid you can't go wrong drive-thru or walk in nice place

The best burger chain. McD's is never fresh and the meat tastes horrible in comparison. Carl's is charbroiled to order. Price wise, Carl's is a much better value. Better price, better food, better taste.. Make the change. Also, the staff in Oakhurst gets 5 stars as well for great customer service. They really want you to be happy and satisfied.

Counter girl was so friendly and kind chicken club awesome along w the waffle.fries. will be going back. Didn't get the girls name had tattoo on her arm. Sweetheart anyway. Made me.feel welcome.

They have an awesome playground good food and great service. Too many places have taken out their playgrounds which is sad, unfortunate and wrong. Our kids are our future we should have places for them to play!

Unexpected surprise! Wanted a quick bite to eat before heading to Yosemite. Cashier was friendly and brought our food to our table. Burger and chicken fingers were hot and as good as you can expect for fast food. Building was a bit old so need renovation. But food and service Deserve a solid 5 star rating.

Be careful if you're using your app and make an order that it does not default to your home Carl's. The manager helped us make an order but didn't check which restaurant the order was being prepared for. After we made the order I realized that the manager had not checked the location of the restaurant and it was ordered for our home restaurant 4 hours away. We tried to cancel the order but the app was not working after several tries. I asked her what we should do and she suggested I call my hometown restaurant in Canyon Country, California. I called the hometown restaurant and they refused to help. That manager refused to cancel my order. She told me I had to call "them" without specifying who "them" was. Then she hung up on me before the issue was resolved. My card was charged. Using the app I wrote to Carl's headquarters and explained the situation. Within a couple of days they refunded my order and apologized for the poor performance and behavior of the manager in Canyon Country.

This store always amazes me. It is always lightly staffed and yet the service is pretty good and the food is always good, very good.

Nevertheless, service was good and burgers were very good! Also, we had to wait to get our burgers, which is great since that means they were making them on the way and not only heating them as other places do.

I was disappointed. They were all out of the fish sandwiches. So I settled for a crispy chicken sandwich that tasted like the frying oil.

Them says lemonade only in small cup no large but I buy large combo wombo. This is an unfortunate actuality.

Nothing special but if you want junk food.. then it is fine. Nice playground for kids outside.

Some of the finest burgers at a fast food joint, IF you can get them made fresh. Otherwise, you can definitely taste the heat lamp.

Aftter passing by fish camp we stopped for dinner. Drive thru service is slow. Carl's Jr . has several options. My first time trying the famous beyond burger 🍔 with guacamole. It was okay.

3 stars not because the food was bad. Not because the workers were bad. 3 stars because they seem to be understaffed in an effort to save money. Line take a too long and results in you paying with time in addition to the higher cost of carls. Food was great tho!

Open until 10pm, which is a very big plus, especially in an area where very few other dining options are open past 8-9pm. That said, they screwed up my order -- correctly charging for the double thickburger I ordered but only providing a single thickburger in the bag -- which is a very big minus, especially for drive-thru service, where these sort of mistakes often go unnoticed until getting home when it's not worth the drive back to get it fixed.

Three stars because this Carl's seems to be the only fast food restaurant left that has a play place for the kiddos. Other than that, the food and the atmosphere was mediocre, and there wasn't any toilet paper in the restroom.

Absolutely awful food and surprisingly slow service. I do not understand how this establishment can survive so close to a perfectly good McDonald's. The only saving grace is that it's open late so you HAVE to go there if you want food after 10pm... Had they not existed, I'd be very hungry right now so I feel like I can't give them fewer than three stars no matter how much I want to.

The chicken was hot but the texture was rubbery, plastic. It was for sure Not Natural chicken. I was disappointed. The fries were super hot but nothing spectacular on flavor. Meh

Their business hours on the website says open till 3am, well I can inform you they are not open! Not even till 2am anymore. I was picking up my brother from work.hoping to be able to grab some food and couldn't. Such a let down. Oakhurst you let me down!

Cannot be called “fast food” you might as well go and sit down because it is consistently the slowest service I ever get.

Food tastes okay. The service could use work. I have been here twice this year, and twice they have messed up my order. During my most recent order, they forgot to give me not one, but two burgers of the six I ordered. I couldn't even say anything after since they said they "ran out" of receipt paper. My recommendation is too order low since they have hard time counting.

Came here bc in the south we have Hardee's and Carl Jr is almost the same thing but not as good as Hardee's. Anyways I ordered an item that could taste more similar to Hardee's and I was told they are out of biscuits. Now this was at 8:30am. I never experienced a place like this to be out of biscuits so early. The breakfast menu doesn't have that many options to choose from.

Overpriced, spent less at in and out burgers for way better food. Took forever to deliver the order. Every combo is 10+ dollars for fast food? Betting the burger king next door will be a better experience.

Food was ok and we Got it pretty fast, but we got the wrong fries even though we pointed out the mistake on the receipt at the counter and they promised to take Care of it. Worst part was that we Were the only customers ordering at that time. Also, we Were told that milk shake upgrade in the combo was 80 cent, but instead we had to pay 3.95! The employee was also yelling Numbers in a bad tone, making it uncomfortable to eat.

This place was so dirty! Every table was not cleaned. The trash was overflowing, the floors had not been mopped. I think they need a wipe dispenser so you can wipe your own table. Customers were wetting napkins to wipe their tables. I like their food, but hesitate to return when it is like this.

Went to the Carl's Jr. In Oakhurst the food had no flavor the tomatoes on the burger were way past their use by date and they gave me the core of the tomato too. Was not impressed with the food quality it just didn't taste all that great.

The chicken tenders and Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich was burnt. My wife said worst sandwich she's had from Carl's. I liked my side of zucchini and my strawberry shake. But happy wife happy life and she was not happy.

Your grill crew was touching raw meat and touching everything and didn't change between touching item, I understand that having lots of order because I work fastfood. Very bad management!

The customer service is terrible don't even bother complaining because the shift manager will act like you're bothering her. The cashiers are rude and the cooks are too lazy to read the screen and that is why they always mess up when we have gone.

This place was filthy! The high chair had a thick layer of grime which I had to scrub off with baby wipes. All the furniture and doors were visibly dirty. The food was okay, although I've had better at other Carl's Jr. The milkshake was runny, and we got a grand total of 7 crisscut fries in our order.

This is the first time I have ever been to this particular Carl's Jr and without a doubt the last. The children's cheese burgers consisted of thin cold hamburger difficult to chew patties. We waited for at least 15 min before being served our food. Ironic thing that we were absolutely the only customers there at the time of our order. As for our salads well, for the price you would hope to have a higher grade lettuce than iceberge. The lack of customers should have given us heads up. The only remote positive aspect was the play area for the children... hence the one star, rather than no star. Oakhurst Carl's Jr really needs to step it up on all counts!

The website accepted my order at 12:41 AM and the restaurant is listed as open until 3 AM (confirmed by business 3 weeks ago) yet nobody was at the place when I showed up. Nobody answers the phone and the website provides no way to get help with an order. Awful service and I’ll never order from here again.

Jad a procedure went in asking to use the bathroom they said I had to buy something. I said I will but I really need to use the bathroom first almost shitn myself they said no it's a new rule do to homeless people 😕 I said do I look homeless? Say look i really need to use the bathroom I will purchase something afterward. Needless to say I did t make it. After I had to buy a coke and the cashier was slow as a snail. When someone is asking to use the bathroom and they don't look to be homeless and or a tweeker. For God sake give them the key so they don't have a situation. We were going to put a big big order (we were 4 that had a party of 10 at home) but the person at the cashier yelled at us several times and quite rude "lobby is closed, lobby is closed!" (it was 9:13 pm) and literally walked behind us to make sure the door we left. I guess we are taking our order to The Hitching Post.

I get home, which I live less than 2 miles from this establishment... my girlfriend opened her order of chicken strips, which looked like they had been reheated and burnt and practically unedible... and the fries cold and nasty... this is unacceptable for a food chain of this caliber... be better Oakhurst carls jr!

I ordered the Barbeque Grilled Chicken sandwich and it was so salty that I could not eat it. I took it up to the assistant manager and let her know. There was no offer to replace it or reimburse my order. To me that is poor customer service. Food is so expense today I would have expected better.
