Ceviche: Very flavorful and refreshing Cabrito a la Norteña (goat special): The meat was tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious Mazamorra (rice pudding with pineapple and purple corn): Very tasty and perfectly balanced and not overly sweet Everything was made fresh. The staff were also very friendly and helpful with the order. Will definitely come back to try more dishes again!

Delicious. Un-pretentious. Generous portions. Relatively affordable. Great huancaína sauce with the yuca fries and papas. The cabrito a la norteña (goat) and accompanying beans were delicious. Chicha was a fun drink, nicely balanced. Was a bit on the slow side when I went but that’s fine with me, not many people working but they were very nice.

The food was super delicious. It felt like being in Perú 🥰My favorite Peruvian restaurant in California and better than most high end Peruvian restaurants in SF!!! The service was great and fast. The servers were sweet. Keep in mind servings are large lol but great quality food 😋

Incredible food! We ordered family style cause everything looked so good. When we couldn’t decide, the server recommended options and didn’t disappoint. We got the arroz con mariscos, bistec encebollado, el cabrito a la norteña, and yuca frita. All the meat was incredibly seasoned. The seafood was succulent. Truly a fantastic meal! We’ll be back soon.

This Peruvian restaurant is really good! The service was very friendly, and they even surprised us with a complimentary dessert since it was my friend’s birthday. I had the tallarines a la huancaína con lomo saltado and it was absolutely delicious. The whole place is decorated with a Peruvian theme, and they play Peruvian music, which truly made me feel at home for a moment.

Wow. I’m sad I slept on this place for a year. This place is one of the few authentic Peruvian restaurants in the Bay Area. We had the cabrito, lomo and Anticuchos and they were all perfect! Will be coming back for breakfast.

As a Peruvian, I was really impressed. The restaurant was packed when I arrived, but the staff still gave great recommendations and treated me kindly. The wait was a bit long, but they apologized with a free drink and rice, very very thoughtful! The food was authentic and delicious. The cabrito a la norteña was amazing, the papa a la huancaína was spot on, and both the arroz chaufa and fettuccine a la huancaína were extremely good. The Peruvian music and cozy atmosphere made me feel at home. I’ll definitely be back.

100% Authentic Peruvian Food in the heart of the East Bay! Both the Ceviche de Pescado and the Chicharrón de Pescado were *absolutely delicious*. Super friendly, fast, and tasty. Highly recommended!

My new favorite spot to pick up Peruvian food while visiting Berkeley! This was my first time noticing this restaurant and the staff mentioned that they just recently opened up this place! If you’re looking to try Peruvian food for the first time, I 100% recommend! The food was phenomenal! The chef and staff were super friendly! Will definitely keep coming back!

Ceviche and lomo saltado were excellent. Fried seafood was cooked well and seasoned right. Fried yucca was a great combination of crunchy and creamy. Menu is very large and I'm excited to try a lot more from it. Very tasty, give it a shot!

Finally a Peruvian place that's more authentic in the area! I saw it last week driving by and had to stop by since I'm always coming through to UC Berkeley. Grabbed my friends to try it out. Super friendly staff. Got the anticuchos that were perfect tired the trio of the ceviche that was good. I think the star of the show gotta be the lomo saltado we paired it with tallatines with ahuancaina sauce and that was amazing. I'll have to come back to try the other dishes. Also a big big plus for me was the chicha so refreshing and perfect but it was the size of the pitcher that got me! I'm a sucker for bottomless drinks and this hot the spot!

I love Peruvian food and try Peruvian restaurants all over the CA and US when I find them. This is one of the tastiest and seemed authentic for many reasons (I’ve been to S America but not Peru). We got the lomo saltado with fried rice instead of white rice, and this crispy skin (pan fried?) tender and succulent half chicken with a lime-y tangy kick, soft potatoes with a slight crisp on the edges. My nephew and I thought everything was good (no duds), well prepared and super flavorful. The aji verde sauce is so good and addictive. It felt like we could be in Peru with the lady (owner?) speaking mostly Spanish but very hospitable and responsive, aiming to please. I eat out regularly and seek out the best restaurants, especially ethnic and authentic (not the fancy ones as much but sometimes), and thought this was one of the best meals I’ve had this year. Everything was really delicious!

This place felt like eating at a Perucian friend's house. There are so many dishes that you don't typically see in a lot of Peruvian restaurants. We ended up getting a stewed lamb shank (Cabrito a la norteña) and ceviche. Totally need to come back and try more of their more unique dishes!

Just got pollada (fried chicken) and lomo saltado. Both were on point and delicious! The chicken was really tender, juicy, and nicely spiced. The lomo soltado was also tender and super savory. Only suggestion for next time would be to turn down the music a little bit, and try to find a way to speed up delivery of the food.

Mom and Pop eatery. They will treat you like family. Tiny place very little room but they have seating outside. Great Peruvian selection. Awesome burger Who Knew? The food is made to order so order in advance for pickup. Food made from scratch patience is key. 20 to 30 minute wait just for food. Just like home cooked meals. We are planning on going back for sure.

I had the ceviche and a chicha. They were both fantastic. They also gave me extra habanero hot sauce to put on my ceviche, it was delicious. Food took a while, but it was worth it.

I just had lunch there and ordered the lomo saltado. The meat was cut into chunks and not slices like it usually is for this dish. It looked like a meal for a child. There was not enough juice left in the meat for me to be able to soak up with my unseasoned fries and rice. The dish was $25.99 and I really got ripped off. I know things are hard for everyone right now but that was utterly ridiculous. I don’t even know why I tipped. The host/waiter was unfriendly, cold, and didn’t really do anything special to deserve a tip!! Never again. It was an expensive lesson for me. I knew I should’ve gone to In-N-Out🫤 I give it 3 stars bc the food was good but it really was nothing spectacular especially not for the price.
