It was the last place we went before the pandemic hit and the first place we went when we were allowed to go out again. I’ve been to this local dive for many years and it’s always a nice casual atmosphere. They have a large back patio, TVs, two bars, free salted and buttered popcorn, and it is dog friendly. We rented the upstairs room for one of my birthdays, and it was also very convenient for $200. Street parking. One unisex bathroom in the back patio and one male one female bathroom inside.

This is a dive bar and it is a great dive bar. Indoor and outdoor space, regulars, friendly bartenders, free popcorn, inexpensive and tasty cocktails ($8), TVs to watch your favorite game. Pretty sure I overheard that it was going to close and a few regulars came together to buy the place. Kingfish definitely has a “by the people, for the people” authenticity.

Came to this location for the first time. I ordered an AMF from Adriana and Kevin and received a quick and delicious beverage. The drink was beautiful and the staff was so friendly. Will come again. Highly recommend!!!!

The kingfish!!!! One of the best dive bars in the bay area. The best part is the shuffle board table. They've got any booze you could want from a dive bar, popcorn and snacks, they've got a outdoor drinking area and usually show all the local games on the TVs - indoor and out. This is a great place. I'd highly recommend for anyone looking for a good place to just hangout.

Good local Oakland landmark staple with friendly and welcoming atmosphere, Cal student affairs on Thursday late nights til 1; affordable specials daily; Friday, Sat, & Sundays, solid spot w/ all the beautiful characters & SHUFFLE BOARD. Outdoor patio and dog friendly.

It's a great spot to watch Cal football there is no food available to buy but they are pretty laid back about you bringing your own food cheap drinks 16oz pbr 5 bucks it's 21 and over but dog friendly

Great dive bar frequented by nice, normal folks. Free popcorn but no food served on site. It's the perfect option to wait out commute traffic or meet up with a casual acquaintance with no strings. Several good beers on tap in addition to lots of folklore associated with Cal.

Great place, cheap drinks. Got this 3 for the price of 2 pitcher of beer. Pretty impressive. +10L of beer. Who wouldn't love it. Free popcorn too.

A super divey dive bar. No frills interior but a nice covered outdoor patio in the back. Drinks are cheap with a wide selection of beers on tap. There's free self serve popcorn that unfortunately smells better than it tastes. It was a bit stale. There is a big shuffleboard table in the back.

Absolutely awful place. I was violently assaulted there and told the bartenders, who did nothing (even though one of them saw it happen).
