Stopped in for dinner with a bunch of coworkers and all were happy with their meals. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. The Chilean Sea Bass with Shrimp was amazing! I'm definitely returning to try other dishes.

One of our favorite places! The food here is fantastic and plentiful!! Matt and Karen at the bar make you feel at home and make the best drinks! Great wine selection and haven’t had a dish we did not love! This week’s special - Squid Ink paella with lobster! UNREAL! Try the grilled Octopus and Pork Chop Segovia! And the steaks! Escargot, lamb, fish, bacon, it’s all amazing!

First time at their new location in Oakland. Some of the favorites on the menu from the other locations but also specials and menu items only at this location good mix. Place is beautiful and packed their lot and the overflow lots were both full and people were parking on side streets and walking. They do not accept reservations for less than 6 but wait isn't bad and they have alot of tables they can turn over. Service was good but our server seem to have a lot of tables maybe just short staffed it happens. We order a pitcher of white sangria very good and I had the soft shell crabs on their specials and they were perfect you get 3 full crabs where most places only give you 2. Was a wonderful surprise. Dessert i had the chocolate moose cake was delicious and light. Definitely know what they are doing. Place is little pricey but you will not leave hungry great portions. Will highly recommend for a nice night out.

We had a great evening here! We were a party of 10. All dishes were very good! Every plate had an incredible amount of food on it. All of us brought food home. Drinks were on point and our server was great at what he does and had a great sense of humor. Loved it all. We will definitely be back!

They have really done a great job here at the new Segovia Tavern! Nothing done here to cut corners. The meals were absolutely fantastic, the sangria was amazing, bread was served fresh & warm. The service was impeccable especially our server Steve who did an awesome job working the room. The hostess’s were very sweet too! We started with drinks at the bar as there was a bit of a wait ( no last minute reservations made on the weekends so get here early or call a week in advance ) even though we waited a bit they were apologetic and patient with us. They work hard here and you can see that! They do all they can to make it a great environment & a successful business. Live music was playing in the larger room. Clean surroundings, nice decor throughout with touches of a tavern feel! This will be yet again another very successful Segovias restaurant ! Thanks for a great night !! Good job to all !

The atmosphere and service is great. The food, in comparison to more authentic Spanish and Portuguese, could use more of an upgrade. Considering the area and clientel, it is understandable that the menu is more americanized. One thing that should stand out is the steaks, however. Below are some pictures.

My boss and I went here for lunch. When we arrived we parked in the private lot. We walked in and was sat by one of the servers. Steve was our server. I started with the uptown but it wasn't sweet so I stuck with water. For my meal I got the stuffed salmon lunch special. My boss got a chicken dish. The food took a while to come out. When it finally did both meals looked great. I dug in and added a little salt and pepper to my salmon. It was more tasty when I did. There was plenty for me to eat and take home. My boss enjoyed his chicken dish. The bill was very reasonable. All in all I had a good experience.

Located in easy to get to spot, we had a lovely waitress, very attentive and always checking to see if we needed anything. Which we did, there were no bread plates in the table set up, quickly remedied! Likewise with the soup spoons, they gave us teaspoons instead of the soup spoon! We were laughing at the challenge we had trying to use them!! Food was wonderful and plentiful! Our leftovers were beautifully wrapped. My husband loved his snails, my chicken and shrimp francese was heaven. My sister loved or bacon steaks! They were huge!! We have to go back again as we did not have room for desserts!!

Countless Blessings

We are regulars at Segovia in Moonachi and Little Ferry. Decided to try this one since we’re loyal patrons of theirs. Unfortunately not impressed. Champagne sangria lacked champagne taste more like juice w/blackberries. Little Ferry puts apples and orange slices in there’s and has great depth of flavor. Steak here had good flavor but veggies/rice were bland. Bread came out hot and crispy, delish! Their chips were also good! The other locations give you way more vegetables, and the rice is super flavorful. The red sangria here is phenomenal and the ambience blows the other two away. Menu says they charge 3% if using a credit card. Servers were great!

Actually a 3.5. We went here to celebrate my birthday dinner. I honestly have to say, we prefer Segovia in Little Ferry much better. The food here is missing something. The shrimp bisque was bland. The crab cake appetizer had so much breading. I had lobster and shrimp in garlic sauce over linguine. It was so hard to eat because the lobster was still in the shells with the sauce all over it. This meant cracking the shells and getting your entire hands soaked in sauce. It was not particularly lady-like. My boyfriend had scallop & shrimp stuffed sole. You couldn’t find a scallop, minuscule shrimp, and it again was a ton of breading. The two pros of this dinner were the waiter Matthew who also was the bartender. He gave tremendous service and made one hell of a sangria. We skipped the dessert for my birthday.

Dined here tonight. My server was John B according the the check. Service was terrible. Looking at the bill was shady plus 3.5% CC fee is a little nuts for a restaurant but to each their own

What a joke and embarrassment for this, once fine restaurant. I made reservations for two on Christmas day. We arrive on time , no worries. Been here before, but, first impressions are everything. We were brought to a table for two, pushed near a beam. The moment we sat down, and i placed my hand on the table it tilted and woobled like a pinball machine. No matter the effort they made to balance it with all sorts of things, it just didn't belong in that spot. I requested a better spot, and the server either didn't understand me, or was deaf. Adios Segovia forever. You should have your floor or tables fixed !

The service is good but the food has gone downhill steadily since we’ve been coming here . We were just here for Valentine’s Day and The fish I had was bland and tasteless. My boyfriend ordered the Segovia platter and the portions are significantly smaller, the shrimp and crab meat had no taste and they were tough and chewy. I don’t know if they changed cook in the kitchen, but the food is not the way it used to be. We will be searching at another place to eat in the future. For the prices that they charge it’s not worth eating here again.

I’m really not one to write reviews but this place is totally not worth the price. What looks like a refurbished diner is exactly that. Ordered a chicken dish. Took 25 minutes to come out. Oversized portion. Enough for an entire family. As it they’re trying to offload their stock. It was absolutely DROWNING in sauce. More like soup with chicken in it. Rice comes on a separate plate with chips. No spice. No flavor. Any of it. You would be better bringing your own spices with you. The woman behind the bar was even talking about another restaurant and how incredible their food is when yours is well below mediocre. This might make for a good meal if you’re traveling etc.. but a night out? Go anywhere else. Blehh. And for $37! Forget it. I can find better street meat in nyc. Would love to see some celeb chef tear this place to pieces.
