Avis sur Ca' Marco Ristorante Italiano Ojai
One of the better places In Ojai IMHO. Service, quality of food and presentation, the wine list, and the setting. A bit of obnoxious street noise when seated on the patio but it's tolerable.
Nice atmosphere, good service and good food. I ordered the special, strawberry salad and it was fresh and delicious with a nice combination of elements; and not overly dressed. Their vegetable pizza utilizes vegetables not commonly seen on pizza. It was very delicious, light and fresh. Not huge, but a good wine selection. Overall a very enjoyable dinner. The outdoor seating allows well behaved pets.
Ca' Marco Ristorante did an amazing job attending to the needs of our party of 12 who were celebrating my daughter's birthday. I had the Ca' Marco Salad, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and for the entree I ordered the cappellini and requested to substitute the sauce with creamy pesto sauce over their homemade pasta. It was so yummy! I absolutely recommend this restaurant while you are in Ojai, California!
Love this place! We try to come for lunch when it's not crowded, and it is just wonderful! The house-made ravioli are amazing especially.
Amazing service! The butternut squash ravioli was out of this world! Creamy, light and full of flavor. Pictured is the Dulce de Leche cheesecake and creme Brule that was phenomenal! Highly recommend for food, service and ambience.
I planned a Bachelorette dinner for my best friend here. They made planning for a large table really easy. The food was delicious and hearty. The butternut squash ravioli was mind blowing actually. I wish I could remember everything we ordered but it was a lot of appetizers and some sea food and pizzas and everything was phenomenal.
The food was amazing, spaghetti with meatballs, Alfredo , potato soup and desert all amazing!!!! Get a bunch of dishes and share. Kids can color on the table, staff was amazing. Quiet , cozy and clean inside. #1 recommendation in town !!!!!!

Our family had dinner here on 7/22/25, and the restaurant had a wonderful menu and great selection of specials, appetizers, and salads. We had some wine with our dinner as well, which was excellent. I had this bowtie pasta with mushrooms and this special sauce, and it was so good. Everyone in our party enjoyed their dinner. The service was great as well.
Food and service were good. The Caesar salad was lightly dressed. The spinach and cheese ravioli was just right size wise. The bread was ok. The dessert was really good.
We love this place. Went again last night for my father's and sister's birthday (yes, they're the exact same day). We always bring our own wine because we make it, but I overheard another group saying their friends had recommended they bring a bottle, so I'm pretty sure their corkage fee is super reasonable. Anyway, we know the owner, she always comes around, always gives us the best few minutes she's got. This place is about three blocks past the end of the main strip in town. If you don't go to the golf course, you might never know it was there, but it's consistently got the best high-end menu and shorter waits than any place in town. There's multiple must-try items on the regular menu and the specials always double that. We always go as a family, five or more and we often can't try everything on the menu that looks good.
Amazing Italian food… Aroma and flavor of their bread was good. No wait time. They were organized and seated our group immediately. Not enough vegetarian choices. I would love them to create vegetarian version of their famous favorite home made lasagna. Which is big hit and in our group for the first timers to the place and seasonal returns.
Great food, excellent service and good company. We sat outside on the patio and it was a lovely temperature...
We enjoyed everything about this lovely restaurant...the decor, great (quiet) acoustics, excellent menu and meals, and good service. The second request for bread required a couple of reminders and when it finally arrived, it was rather dried out, unfortunately, but the delicious olive oil and sweet balsamic vinegar made the perfect dip to help remedy the less than perfect bread. It will probably be fresher next time, and there will definitely be a next time. The place was nearly empty when we arrived and we got a great table inside. When we left, totally full of melt-in-your-mouth house made ravioli, flavorful pasta and delicious four cheese pizza, and fully satisfied, the place was packed inside and on the patio.
Ca Marco is one of our favorite Ojai restaurants for special dates. The atmosphere is elegant and cheerful with seating available by the fireplace. The food is always excellent with delicious desserts as well.

I eat out a lot, and this is one of my new favorite places. Everything is on-point. The food is outstanding. In my opinion, the best Italian food in all of Ventura County and would absolutely rival any Italian restaurant. The service was efficient and friendly and never obtrusive. The atmosphere was very nice. Overall 5+
Visited this restaurant on my recent Ojai trip. The place is clean and quick service (not so busy). The menu had good amount of choices, server was helpful in making recommendations. I order fettuccine with tomato sauce, the ingredients were fresh, pasta was perfectly done. I had to add a bit of salt and I thought overall it lacked yummines for an Italian restaurant, food isn't bad but just lacked to impress. I will try this restaurant again with another item from the menu.
Very enjoyable food, service was excellent. A bit geriatric (I'm 50 and was the youngest person there) but that's not a negative 😅. Plenty of parking, we got a table right away, prices were reasonable.

Where’s the comfort in this comfort food? After being displaced by the fires, a generous friend sent us a DoorDash credit, and we decided to use it at Ca’ Marco. My wife was craving comfort food, so we ordered pizza and lasagna—unfortunately, comfort was nowhere to be found. The chicken on the pesto pizza was drier than when my toddler “cooks” chicken. The margherita pizza was… fine. The crust was so thin, I thought they’d run out of dough. And I love thin pizza—having lived in Manhattan, I crave a good New York slice—but this was borderline transparent. The lasagna was also fine—but at $34, I half expected it to come with a side of stock options. On the bright side, we got four tiny slices of focaccia for free—so, uh, there’s that. I get it, delivery isn’t the same as dining in, but my wife went so far as to call it one of the worst pizzas she’s ever had. Given that most of the other reviews highlight the atmosphere and service, and I only had delivery, this is like judging a spa based on their hold music—but if the food is this underwhelming at home, I’m not sure fancy lighting and a friendly waiter would’ve saved it.

Polite servers but not very knowledgeable about the menu. We had ravioli, pizza, and tiramisu (salads and antipasti choices were not appealing). Pizza crust was dry and brittle. Ravioli was made in house but underwhelming. Tiramisu also made in house but not great - too much dense mascarpone mix not enough ladyfingers. I wish I had more positive hints to say!
So incredibly disappointed with this restaurant and the treatment we received! Both my friend and I ordered the crab & lobster ravioli special with the expectation of being wow'd, only to find sharp shell remnants in the raviolis first in my friends serving, which they replaced, but then also in my raviolis as well. This of course caused great concern, and sent my plate back as well, ordering something completely different, as my friends 2nd plate ALSO had shell remnants. We're not talking small grainy pieces, but large slivers if shell. Clearly a chocking hazard! Our server brought the owner of the establishment to our table who began counting the number of raviolis that we tried to eat before presenting a menu so that I could choose a different dish. We made it through our meal and even decided to order dessert. When the check arrived we were absolutely floored to see that we were being charged for both ravioli dishes AND my replacement meal! When confronting the owner about the charges, her reply was that because each of us ate 3 of the 7 raviolis on our first dishes before returning them (which all contained the shell shards) and they replaced my friends dish, they would be charging for both! Of course this absolutely infuriated me expressing that I would have at the very least expected her to only charge half for my plate considering we both could very well have choked or been injured by the shell slivers. (being a Medic, I have seen such things happen frequently) But she continued to argue the fact that the raviolis were expensive to make so she has to charge. Finally she agreed to a discount because she "needed the table" and would bring the check to our us. Our discount offered.....15% off my returned plate! I was livid, and made my feelings known right in front of the rest of her packed dining room! This prompted her to grab the check and tell us to "not pay for anything if we wanted, just leave." Feeling incredibly bad for the only gracious person there, our server, we left her a very healthy tip and left. Needless to say, this establishment will NEVER see a penny of neither my, nor my friend's, our any of our collective friend's money. To have such disregard for your customer's safety is absolutely disgusting!
