The food is so good! I especially love their chicken tacos, tostadas, burritos. Anything with their chicken is really great. Their taquitos are really good also. If you sign up for their app, you get special deals. The food is real. And it’s real good!
I love their potato burritos and the food is a good value for the price however the staff at this location were very grumpy hopefully they had a better day after I left
I love Miguel's! I have been eating here for 30+ years and it is still the same as when I was a kid. I now live in Colorado and my family gets tired of eat here when we come back to visit family because it's my go to comfort food.
Update….. We decided to give this place another try and I still wanted to order the garbage shredded chicken burrito. The burrito didn’t look like much but the overall taste was good and a decent size. We also got the chili relleno and hard shell taco with rice and beans plate that came with chips and a drink. The was also chili verde plate. The price was reasonable and it arrived on time in a nicely sealed bag. Our food was hot and we enjoyed it. Old order - Overall the food was good but seriously disappointed that I didn’t get the garbage burrito that I ordered. I ended up sharing someone’s BRC burrito but it was lacking cheese so not very balanced. Now I’m just waiting to make sure I receive my refund. The driver was very nice and on time so that was a plus!!
Miguel's Jr. just launched some new stuff!! For the fall… oh my gosh. Their Pumpkin Pie Horchata. Creamy, sweet, and just the right amount of spice! BEST new fall treat hands down! And they've rolled out 3 new bowls, loaded with your choice of meat and all the fresh toppings like guacamole depending on which ones you get. Loved the Enchilada bowl! Go check it all out!
Food and service was great. I have tasted other wannabe Mexican restaurants and unfortunately none of them have that Mexican flavor. I ordered the chicken taquito plate and was not disappointed. Spoke with area manger and reiterated the same. Will definitely come again and will tell friends. Sorry for the picture. I ate the whole thing. I rather spend my money here than in the other fast food places that charge over $15 for mediocre food.
Our daughter chose this for her birthday lunch. Taquitos, rice and beans, and a taco in the photos. Taquitos come with yummy guacamole sauce. Not thick chunky guacamole, but more of a sauce. Very tasty taquitos and tacos. Seems to always be good food there, just a little pricey. I guess that's true for everywhere, but I didn't get full off the three taquitos. So order the rice and beans with it, or add something else if you do things a la carte. We will return!
I've passed this restaurant many times but never bothered to try it. Until the day my boss brought in a platter of the traditional shredded chicken tacos. The tacos were delicious! Just recently picked up some food for Dinner. Went for a combo plate; Rice,beans,1 enchilada ,1 Traditional taco, and 4 extra Traditional chicken tacos on the side. The food was on point again. I know they don't need my approval but this Mexican American approves!
I was in the area and was in the mood for some Mexican food. This was my first time visiting this location and I was assisted by Angel. I ordered a deal that came with a burrito, drink and guacamole & chips. I recommend trying both house salsas, as you won’t be disappointed. The restaurant is clean and the portions of food are great. Angel went above and beyond during our visit by making sure we were satisfied with our food.
Happy to say they have all the same great food and courteous staff that is present at the 'traditional' locations surrounding the Corona area. Not as inexpensive (so to speak) as the 'food trucks' that roam Santa Ana but better quality of ingredients definitely apparent for sure.
We LUV Miquels Jr. This location is fantastic. Always fast and the service is top notch along with fresh quality ingredients you can taste and entrees & dishes that are delicious. Favorite is Chile Rellano Burrito 🌯. Great variety of burritos & lots of different Tasty Tacos 🌮. Location is maintained extremely well. Always means a lot since am a double amputee ♿ w/ luekiema.. it's nice to start a meal finding a hassle-free place to sit. Exterior design is artful & highlights traditional community over the years. Has actual Artwork and Murals. Super Cool design. Interior is open and very clean. ADA Compliance is good 👍 Outstanding staff is reason things go smoothly and taste terrific. Very helpful for special needs if requested. Thank You. This is also a Drive -Thru location that is easy to access and safe. Easy to see/find Miquels Jr 1325 Tustin St. City of Orange 🍊 Enjoy 🤙
Miguel’s Jr is a quintessential staple from my childhood and growing up in Corona, and it never disappoints. You can’t go wrong with an original burrito—the classics never fail. The crunchy chicken tacos are an absolute fave, and I’m especially obsessed with their wet sauce. My go-to order currently is the chicken quesadilla “all jacked up,” which means it’s packed with Monterey Jack cheese for a perfectly melty bite. My only quibble is that the green salsa changed. It’s noticeably heavier on the lime now, so I’ve switched back to the red salsa for that familiar kick. They still have great ice, Cherry Coke, horchata, and Orange Bang to round out the meal. In short, you can’t go wrong with any of the delicious food here. Miguel’s Jr will always hold a special place in my heart—and in my stomach.
I ordered today to enchilada bowls and taco said. The bowl had a hair in it, I pulled it from my mouth long. It was gross. Please guys gals wear hair nets
I've been here several times and always get the nachos. Most of the time it's good, but this time when I placed my order, and then got to the drive-up cashier window, I waited about 3 - 4 minutes for anyone to open the window. Then they asked me to repeat my order again, which I did, closed the window, came back a couple of minutes later and asked me to go wait in the #1 pick-up spot. I did, and waited for another 3 - 4 minutes. They then brought me my order, I opened it only to find that the cheese on top was melted, but the cheese underneath was not and almost cold. I'll give them another chance, but if it happens again, adios Miguel's.
First time I came here, the drive-thru was closed and the ensuing line to the dining room was out the door, so I left. Successfully navigated the drive-thru this time, hoping to get a breakfast burrito, only to find out on the menu that "breakfast" stops at 11 am, which I have never encountered at a Mexican place like this before. Bummer. So I order the loaded carne asada fries. I pay at the window, and then get asked to pull into one of the waiting spots. I understand why, but I loathe this process as well. Finally receive my food, and I have never paid more ($15 after tax) for a more underwhelming order of loaded/carne asada fries before. Really disappointing overall.
Came in today and had a terrible experience, I always order a plain plate and always specify I want no guac no cheese and no sauce. As per usual there is cheese and sauce on the plate. If a customer says plain and specified what items they don’t want on the plate why then do we consistently ignore that. I also got 3 soft chicken tacos, I started getting the soft because the crunchy tacos were so soggy and disgusting that I couldn’t eat them anymore. Somehow now the soft chicken tacos are also absolutely soaking wet and stuck to the horrible paper bag they are put in. Sometimes the food is great and edible and other times it looks like a sick prank. Please be consistent and stop serving soaking wet tacos.
Food is very mediocre for the price. Service was extremely slow. We spent at least 15 minutes in the drive through.
Bad service can ruin a good thing. There's so many employees just standing around... Well order style up and wait times reach over 12 minutes for a single BRC burrito at 10 am. I just believe with better prioritization and management this restaurant could be much more efficient and get orders out a lot quicker answer a lot more people
Miguel’s uses lard for their beans, and they do not have non lard options. So this place is not vegan or vegetarian friendly at all! My family and I had to learn the hard way.
Worst Mexican food ever. Tasteless, watery shredded beef in taco shells that were chewy and greasy, certainly not crispy. Beans are bland. The rice was good, but there was so little of it. Portions were so small—definitely not worth the money.
Tldr: Expensive and low quality food (Taco Bell dupe), tacos los cholos 5 minutes away has a better burrito for a cheaper price. Customer service was good. We ordered beef nachos and a carne asada burrito. Total came out to $26. The burrito was 15$ and it was the size of my hand. The beef nachos was just pure beef and cheese and it was one of the most rancid tasting food I've put into my mouth, I had to immediately spit it back out and throw it away. I'm very sure they likely microwaved it.
