We love this place, great ambience, good service, and very good food.

We have visited this restaurant several times over the last couple of years and again most recently at the beginning of August. The food is amazing and the staff are so welcoming and friendly with excellent service. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again on the last night of our holiday. Absolutely delicious highly recommend.

We went yesterday to celebrate our anniversary with a couple of friends. 3 of us had the fillet steaks, and 1 had the lamb shank. A couple of bottles of wine, and amazing desserts topped off a lovely and very enjoyable night. The service was very good and the staff was very helpful.

If you want something a bit more upmarket but still a great price this is the place. Always had a good meal and great service. Decided to have my 50th birthday meal here. Was fab. Have sat both inside and out and equally enjoyed the experience.

Shocked to read some of the negative reviews on this place. We had possibly one of the best steak dinners we’ve ever had. Helpful, polite and super friendly staff that couldn’t do enough for us. If I had to give one negative, I would have liked more veg with my dinner but it’s certainly not a complaint. Compliments to all the staff and especially the chef who made our evening so lovely.

Excellent service and food was excellent quality, great location , decor and really good staff. The menu as something for everyone would highly recommend a visit. We will definitely be back next time we are over.

We ate as a family here on a live music night at Villamartin Plaza. You'll need to reserve a table well in advance if there's live music on as the Plaza is packed with diners at all restaurants. Fairways was excellent. The hanging kebabs were good value and they even offer one for vegetarians, which my wife loved. Service was excellent considering how busy they were. We'll definitely be dining here again when we return to the Plaza.

The restaurant is "allied" to Che's and as a result, the steaks are "to die for". Well cooked & presented. The starters are both decent size and mouth-watering. Be prepared to pay a little more for the experience, but, believe me, it's well worth it.

Fairways is my favourite restaurant in the main square at Villamartin. The quality of the food is excellent, I ordered steak and it was cooked to perfection. The mash is delicious. The staff are attentive and friendly. It is slightly on the pricier side compared to other restaurants in the area but it is worth it.

Busiest place in Villamartin on a Tuesdayin March. There's a reason why. Food quality, portion size and flavour are excellent.

Absolutely fabulous, had the family of 5 @ 6 very accommodating as had no reservation. (Advise to book it's that good) ate from the set menu, the Rib and Wing combo was massive and awesome.

My view of fairways is of marvellous comments. Where we had an upsetting issue at the restaurant with a member of family & friend. The staff were fantastic, and we firstly must say our gratitude to all staff involved with it. From waiters & waitresses to bar staff & managment. Especially a huge shout out to Hannah, who was really helpful in everything with translation to being so experienced in her role. We would like to say a huge Thankyou to you all in such an experience no one could imagine. You were all fantastic.

First time and will be going again, great food and service

We went twice during the stay at Villamartin because the food was excellent. Baby ribs and chicken wings heaps of chips corn on the cob. Not very adventurous but I had the same both times it was so good. The cost was very reasonable at around €50 each including drinks and desert. I expected it to cost more and would have been happy. Friendly staff everyone has their own job taking orders for food or drink. Serving and clearing up. Very organised. Recommended meal with a view.

Voyant que nous étions français, ils nous ont envoyés une charmante serveuse qui ce débrouille super bien dans cette langue (ta tata est à Montpellier 😉) Juste le vin d'Espagne, qui ne vaut pas le Côte du Rhône, mais on peut remédier au problème 👍 Au plaisir de revenir.

Fairways is easily the best food you can get in Villa Martin and in the Costa Blanca! Lovely modern restaurant which is always maintained at the highest standards of cleanliness everytime I have visited (3) Friendly English staff providing the best service. I enjoyed every visit to Fairways during my holiday and will 100% be returning !

This is my favourite place to dine at the Plaza. The menu is varied and great value. All food presented well and tastes amazing. All staff are friendly and welcoming, even in the heat (thank you). Background music is not intrusive and entertainment singers are great. Have enjoyed outside and inside dining.

We came in for Sunday lunch, we hadn’t booked but were pleasantly greeted and led to a nice sunny table. Ordered a couple of roasts , one lamb, one mixed, either of which could have satisfied a hungry teenager, and a good selection of veggies on the side! Really great presentation and taste and the entrees & desserts equally delicious. The decor since they’ve done the renovations is much more relaxing. We’ll be back :-)

We had a lovely time visiting here. We all had steaks and they were fantastic, cooked to perfection. The staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our visit. We did arrive early evening so secured a table with no problems but it soon gets busy, I'd recommend making a reservation to save on any disappointments. We will visit here again for sure.

Fantastic service from all the staff, the steak was amazing along with all the other mains. The table service was instant and the starters came out at just the right time. The profiteroles were truly the best I've ever tasted. A truly relaxing venue and the inside is well decorated. Next time we go on holiday, we will be coming here again!

Set within the lovely villa villamartin, the restaurant offers an excellent selection of food with a lovely seating area outside on the upper floor looking over the stage below which offers live performances. The half kilo measures of steak are what sets it apart. They're cooked to the requested specification and nicely completed with sides of your choice. The staff are friendly and attentive, however booking ahead is highly recommended. There's plenty of other venues on site to entertain yourself after your meal.

What a treat! We didn’t have a booking but had a table within 30 minutes. We had the goats cheese and prawn cocktail to start. Both were delicious. The fillet steak was 10/10. We had the port sauce and dauphinois and the chips with peppercorn sauce. Would love to have had dessert but we were both full and didn’t want to spoil it. Service was attentive but not too much. Very friendly. Have already recommended to family and will be back next time if not before we go home. Thank you for a wonderful meal ❤️

The food is absolutely delicious, Calamari to start stunning, see images for all. For main went for beef Hanging skewer and the Salmon on risotto again cooked perfectly very tasty, lemon cheesecake for dessert which was stunning and the extra cream on the side made it perfect. Espresso Martini and a latte to finish. Along with drinks we found it pretty respectable on the price because of the exceptional quality. We sat outside as we had the three little dogs with us. Service was amazing and Hannah was very helpful and approachable. You have to try this place you can eat here for 20-30€ each depending on what you choose. 5 Stars Plus the plaza is definitely over performing with it’s restaurants.

Came for valentines evening, First time here and was very impressed. Was given a free welcoming drink each for the occasion. Both starters mains and deserts were all lovely especially the hanging beef skewers. Will definitely be back and recommend.

I went there with my friend and we were really hungry ,good decision.. I had a burger and it was very good, juicy and full of flavor. My friend ordered the handmade ravioli and wow… it was delicious and the portion was HUGE. Seriously, you will not leave this place hungry. The cocktails were not the best, but that’s okay. I decided to see it as a positive sign , maybe it’s another little push for me to quit alcohol totally 😆 So yes, food very good, big portions, drinks… not amazing, but still a nice evening with a friend. I would go back for the food for sure. Highly recommended ❤️

This place is brilliant for meat & fish eaters. Veggie options are awful & it stops us from visiting more often. Such a shame! Please add a veggie burger, halloumi kebab, something filling for non meat eaters! The veggie kebab is god awful & not a proper meal, when I tried to remove the corn on the cob I nearly stabbed someone with the skewer! Horrid. Other meat options were enjoyed by the rest of our party.

We love Fairways but yesterdays Sunday Roast potatoes were rubbish. Not roasted at all. Some were hard and some so soggy. Never had them like it before.

We went for Sunday lunch and food was outstanding. We both had the trio of meats for our main and it was definitely worth the extra €2. The portion sizes are a really good size so make sure you are hungry. The staff were also fantastic. We'll definitely be back again.

Ik kan me niet van de indruk ontdoen dat dit restaurant ten opzichte van vorige jaren ingeboet heeft op kwaliteit.De skewers waren aangebrand,Linguini was lauw.We kregen tien minuutjes voor onze aperitief terwijl we een beetje tijd hadden gevraagd hiervoor.Bediening was sec.Kortom,meer en meer gericht op massaconsumptie.spijtig

This place is my usual favourite ‘go to’ restaurant not just for Sunday lunch but for any kind of nice meal for when my family or friends visit especially. Me and my partner always recommend this place. Yesterday we brought our friends from Torrevieja who were on holiday for Sunday lunch after we had been telling them for months how lovely it is! We was sincerely dissatisfied and so gutted because we were all looking forward to this meal!! The meat came so dry & the lamb was so fatty. The cauliflower cheese was not pre boiled (soft) like usual :( this is the part we were mostly looking forward to haha!! Yorkshires which are usually delicious were really hard. The only thing we all said we enjoyed was the stuffing!! Gutting. The deserts was lovely as usual but was so disappointed in the meal all together. Never again will we bring friends aha! Wasn’t even going to write this review however it’s usually our fav and we’re so gutted!!!!

We holiday here a lot so visit a lot of the Plaza restaurants frequently. Love this place for good service, great position in the Plaza and great ambience. Not so good is frankly the shockingly poor offering for vegetarians. In this day and age where so many follow a non meat diet to only offer 3 dishes out of 20 that are veggie isn’t good enough. Ok the skewers but the offering is just vegetables on a skewer. Why not make this more interesting with some halloumni cheese? Other than that there are 2 pasta options, one pesto. The ravioli is really nice - but don’t want to be forced to have this one dish every time. Pesto you can get anywhere, out of a jar so why is this meant to be enticing? So frustrating as you feel the chef just doesn’t care about veggies at all - with quality or quantity of more veggie options. But we are often the drivers in where to book so if we see a menu that caters so poorly we often just won’t book. Please offer few more options!

My experience of Fairways changed drastically through the evening. I was seated in a lovely spot within the restaurant. I ordered drinks and then my meal. My starter, the bruschetta, was amazing. At this point I was strongly considering booking Fairways for an upcoming double family Birthday celebration as to this point I had found the experience was something to shout about. Then, suddenly, through no fault of the team, a large piece of the restaurant decoration was knocked over by one of the customers and fell on my wife. She was ok, there was a bit of commotion, as you’d imagine, whilst the team cleared up the mess this had made, such as dirt from plant pits and broken glass from our table. The staff were very apologetic, the manager was surprisingly a little defensive and explained these ornaments had never fallen over before. I appreciate this, although, a simple sorry was all that was needed rather than an explanation of the past. Once everything had been cleaned up and we were re-seated, the evening continued. The meal itself was excellent and I would happily eat this repeatedly. The customers who had caused the decoration to fall on my wife then left and they couldn’t apologise more for the accident. They felt terrible, as any of us would, but again, as any of us would, we reassured them that all was ok. After this is where it all changed, once our mains had been delivered, my table received absolutely no attention. I felt that maybe I was being held responsible for the incident. During this later period of the evening, I did receive a couple of passing acknowledgments from the team, as you would expect in a restaurant, but no real interest in how our evening was or whether we needed anything further. Eventually someone else asked if we needed anything and I requested the bill, we had been interested in desert, but by this point we just felt the need to pay and leave. It’s amazing how much an evening can change with a simple event, more to the point is how the team cared for us after the event, not during it, but after it. I absolutely know that had the manager come to me after the event and quietly said, “i’m really sorry about what happened, your next round is on me” then I would have left there feeling most as excited about Fairways as i had just before the ornament fell on my wife.

Het voorgerecht was nog best lekker maar het hoofdgerecht was gewoon slecht. We hadden de beef skewer die zo goed als zwart was waardoor het vlees grijs van binnen was. Ook was het verschrikkelijk zout. De chickenburger van m’n dochter was redelijk. De bediening was ook net niet geweldig. Jammer want toen ik er in oktober 2023 was was het hartstikke goed.

Omg what has happened to this place since Xmas? Fairways was always my go to place for a decent meal but certainly not anymore. The staff seem to have been changed and the new ones are running around like headless chickens. The service is very slow and don't get me started on the quality and price of the food and drink. The management I'm afraid to say are running the place into the ground and only seem interested in turning a quick buck at the expense of service and quality. Haven't been for Sunday lunch yet this year and seeing as there are so many other places to choose from in the area I won't be, even if someone else offered to pay for me.

Visited there this evening, a nice decorated restaurant however, very very let down by the food, they really need to employ a good chef that knows how to prepare and cook dishes the way they are meant to be cooked and served. The ingredients used are the cheapest around and mostly from tins and jars and microwaved. Such a shame as all looked good, the beer is like water again the cheapest sourced. The chef knows nothing about cooking Italian food and should not be on the menu. The staff are friendly and helpful but let down badly by poor management, I’m sure it’s all family run and invite friends and family only as good clientele would not return. Please up your game to cook and serve quality food as you do charge for it. Very very disappointed.

Went there last night, had to ask the staff to take our order on all three courses, they was serving people before us that just sat down and we had been there at least half hour before any of the staff even looked at us .food was terrible, the mushroom chicken was rock hard over cooked the ribs had no meat on just fat couldn't eat it at all. Served estella larger in a beer glass was so flat taste like dirty dish water. We told the waiter and he agreed our food didn't look nice at all so he told the manager, thought we would have had at least a free drink or a bit off our €89 bill but he just came over and asked if we wanted to buy more drink. Shocking service, terrible food and drink and very very expensive

The Sunday lunch food was cheap, nasty, tasteless, disgusting, and very badly prepared by a non chef or someone who knew nothing obout cooking. In short; overpriced rubbish.

Absolutely terrible experience when we asked for a table it was like asking for blood not welcoming at all Asked for goats cheese for starters and it was straight out of a packet from lidles How the chef wasn't embarrassed sending it out is beyond me . Asked for a margarita and was given clear white liquid in a martini glass and when we sent it back we where mocked by staff . We didn't stay for mains we cancelled and left 😤

I am extremely disappointed after another and now final visit to this restaurant. Food good, but always seems an issue with the front of house man when you have a query or problem. We have visited tonight with our friends as a farewell meal. We ordered food and asked for a side of dauphinois potatoes when my meal came out it had no potatoes. I asked the front of house person who went to check . On his return he told me that the chief thought I was replacing the accompanying potato with dauphinois potatoes . I was led to believe that these were a substitute not a side , presuming that I would not be charged for these as I had no other potato with my meal. I was then offered my potatoes but felt as the chief was doing the dauphinois as a substitute there was no need. When the bill arrived we had been charged for the dauphinois potatoes as a side. The front of house stood arguing with us saying that lots of work went into these potatoes as if we had no knowledge of food!! We were a party of four and all of us said how rude, unprofessional and arrogant this man portrayed himself . He has the wrong attitude to be front of house! This is now several occasions that we have had issues with our bills and his attitude so the suggestion is CHECK your bill. We will not be visiting again .

I wouldn't go there again if you paid me. The service was dreadful we waited nearly an hour after ordering to be seved. The beef was so dried out I couldn't eat it and had to send it back. I ordered chicken which came without the vegetables and by the time they brought them the meat was cold. I haven't given them a star as I couldn't even score them.NEVER AGAIN.

The restaurant looks really nice with place settings laid out neatly. Service was sufficient with a lovely menu. My only gripe is that the chicken that l had was so overcooked that my knife would barely cut through it. We informed the waitress who stated that they 'would inform the chef'. No apology or anything, they just took the chicken away. Yes, we paid for the whole meal. It certainly is not as good as we had been informed. Very disappointed.

Walked in, asked for a table, and was met with a look like I’d just insulted the waiter’s ancestors. Got seated in the back where dreams go to die, while the front tables (aka “the marketing department”) got their food in minutes. Ours took 90 minutes—and arrived burnt enough to legally qualify as charcoal. Waited another 45 minutes for a single scoop of ice cream. I’ve seen glaciers move faster. Also, last time I had the beef skewer here, I left with a free case of food poisoning. So that was fun. Great place if you enjoy slow service, burnt food, and mild existential dread. 10/10 would not recommend.

We had a surf and turf.... should have been named smurf and turf.. the lobster was so small that you could have taken all of it and put it on a table spoon.. service was terrible and when we brought it to the managers attention when she produced a cooked 1/2 lobster and to add insult to injury then had the ordacity to instruct us that there was no meat in the middle as that's the stomach and the meat is in the claw and tail!!! OBVIOUSLY !! WE HAVE EATEN LOBSTER MANY TIMES BEFORE BUT IT USUALLY HAS SOMETHING TO EAT INSIDE IT. That little lesson just made a crap meal even worse... don't bother unless you like dining on thin air.

Cuando nos recogieron los segundos platos no volvió a pasar ningun camarero, nadie nos ofreció postre y tuvimos que levantarnos a la barra para pedir los cafés. En la barra nos dijeron que nos lo traían a la mesa y cuando nos los trajeron pedimos la cuenta. Que tras esperar un rato, tuvimos que levantarnos para ir a pagar. Mientras tanto la metre y al menos una camarera más comiendo en la barra mientras servían las mesas. Está gente está a años de luz de cómo trabaja la gente en el norte.
