Como español que no conocía la fama de éste plato, a primera vista parece un pescado rebozado con patatas fritas normal y corriente. Fui descubriendo la magia de un rebozado magnífico, la textura y sabor del bacalao, mejor imposible, y las patatas fritas de categoría. El auténtico fisch& chips, sin viajar a Inglaterra, después de un baño de Mar, en el Mediterráneo.

Visited this 'chippy' for the first time last night after reading reviews. We were not disappointed! Very welcoming service , food cooked to order and tasted AMAZING. Best fish and chips we've had in a long time. Batter light and delicious. Huge fish. We'll definitely be back and can thoroughly recommend 👌

Look how big the cod is? ... Lovely sized curry sauce and mushy peas portions, too often places give small tubs of these. I had to drive 20 min so I expected soggy batter, but it was lovely, light, and crisp. Staff/owners are really friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Had the 5 Euro Fish and Chip special with mushy peas. Was expecting an OAP size portion at that price, but was pleasantly surprised how large it was. Not only that, but the Cod was tasty and freshly cooked. The chips were nice as well. They have some good deals on their menu. Well worth a try.

We received a friendly welcome and attentive service. We had a regular cod and chips. The fish was perfect. Firstly because it was just the right size for us but also the thickness was a constant so the fish had no thin overcooked and dry parts. It was excellent! I do prefer my chips a little thinner and crisper but that is a subjective matter so everyone has their own preference. All in all an excellent meal, reasonably priced with great service.

Wow so good food! You can really tell that it’s all fresh from there. I had the chicken burger and my boyfriend had a cod and chips and it was amazing! Recommend you all to go there and give it a try. By far the best fish and chip in Spain!

Last night we had a carry out of Cod & Chips together with Steak Pie with gravy and Chips. While waiting we were able to have a drink. On getting home we unwrapped the food which was well wrapped and hot. It’s the best food we’ve had in a long time. Please keep it up. Kind regards, John & Paula

The place is run by the husband and wife owners, who are very pleasant, the wife especially was such a sweet and charming woman, the Cod and chips I ordered was delicious, cooked fresh as I ordered it, and a large helping of chips, which I asked to be topped with salt and vinegar. It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish with incredibly reasonable prices, (no overcharging here, even on drinks). Overall I recommend anyone who likes British cuisine to drop by here, they offer fish and chips, pies, black pudding, haggis, and much more at very reasonable prices (much cheaper than across the road) with very pleasant service and delicious food.

There are lots of superlatives used on these reviews, its the best, the finest, biggest, tastiest. But LA Fuentes fish and chip restaurant should really be described with comparatives, better than the rest, cheaper than most, bigger portions than the others. The staff are friendlier than the other fish and chip outlets in the area. The staff are more attentive and much more friendlier, but I've said that already. As you would expect every thing is made fresh to order. But its no problem to wait a short while, sit back have a cup of tea or something a bit stronger and watch the world go by. Then when your order arrives you'll enjoy everything about it aroma, taste, texture. There are even some curiosities as well a Belfast pattie, Yorkshire fish cake. And my personal favourite haggis. So go enjoy the experience and don't be tempted by the competition in the plaza or playa flamenca

A fairly new restaurant to this area but already made a big impact on the locals. The fish is a decent portion and the chips are not greasy. Not expensive...you can eat in or take away.They open at 6 ish most days.Wrll worth a visit...you won't be dissapointed.

I called in this evening and had the cod and chips with mushy peas and a curry sauce the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly, as I was the only one eating and having a couple of beers you would have thought one if the staff would come and ask if meal was ok. It was my first time there and would go back again another time.

Very good fried fish, mushy peas and curry sauce, but unfortunately, as usual with British “chips”, they were awful and limp. Will give them another chance though. (Disclaimer, I do know good fish and chips as we used to live in the UK)

The last 2 times we've been to Spain we've come here to get fish and chips, only to find out once we've stood there deciding for 5 minutes what we want between us that they've taken on too many orders and aren't talking walk in custom. Is it too much to put up a sign or even just tell people that you can't serve them instead of letting them stand there when you've clearly seen them. Amazing fish and chips (when you can get it) but we will NOT be returning when we visit regularly.

Maybe I was just unlucky. But wow that was a bad experience. Waitress don’t know what’s on the menu. Ended up with a microwaved pie ( not nice ) & chips but didn’t bring the other person’s order?? guess when your the only chip shop you don’t have to try hard to keep people happy. I wouldn’t recommend myself but the other customers looked like they was enjoying there meals

Cod balls not good cod was brown, no mushy peas. sausage in batter was OK but no peas or sauce. In response to the owner this was not the case last night at approx 7 45. And I could not complain at the time as it wasn't until my husband got home that we ate the meal.
