Update: This place has messed up every delivery I've had in the past few months. I just ordered $30 of sashimi and they sent shrimp tempura. Time to try someplace else. This is my go-to sushi place! The fish is consistently super fresh and they use real crab. I usually order takeout, but the times I've been in person to pickup and called to ask questions, staff have been very kind. We've tried a few other places in Walnut Creek, but we keep coming back here!

Was pleasantly surprised by this hole in the wall sushi spot. All our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. We ordered the Orinda roll and 49er roll(both were great), and got the salmon, hamachi, and Unagi nigiri roll which all tasted super fresh and delicious. Edamame and Gyoza were both 10/10. So glad to have found this place. Will def be back anytime we go out to eat in Orinda!

This was our first time and we were celebrating Father’s Day. Very attentive to our needs and quick food service. The servers were extremely gracious and our food was delicious. The salmon plate was really good, as were the rolls and bento box. We will certainly return, when back in town.

We both ordered the bento box lunch special. I had 2 orders of vegetable tempura and my wife had the gyoza and sashimi. They charged extra for the sashimi but it was a large serving, thick cut and deep red. I asked for more rice and they charged for it which I thought a bit unusual. Overall very good food at a reasonable price. We would go back.

I will say yes, the rolls we ordered were delicious. My expectations were very low for this restaurant. This is due to the fact that the rolls turned out to be not really large. Also with the fact that I could not choose a dish on the menu for a long time, because there is some chaos on their website. In addition, some photos are not true. Ordered at random. That is, the advantage of this place, as it seemed to me, is only that their rolls are delicious. But to be honest, I didn't eat enough. Therefore, I think that either the prices should be lower or the rolls should be bigger. Get the site up and running.

Also, inside the restaurant, had a weird smell, like they mopped the floor with dirty recycled water. Outdoor seating available&that was nice. Probably won’t choose to come again. Nice server.

Terrible service. The hostess was in a bad mood — something clearly happened to her — but her attitude was unacceptable, especially for a simple pickup order. I can’t imagine sitting down for a meal there. Unfortunately, this is the only sushi spot on the main street. The sushi used to be much better, but even though the quality has declined over the years, we still wanted to support a local business. The last thing I want to deal with is someone having a bad day and taking it out on customers. Perhaps adding more staff during Fridays through Sundays would help.
