Food was amazing! I had the Fatty Melt which was huge! Partner had the French Onion chicken which was delicious and she loved, and daughter had the Mahi tuna that she gobbled down. Thursday night was local music from 70s hits. All over a great time!

Absolutely love Fish On Fire! The atmosphere is fantastic—really cozy and inviting, and the live band playing at certain times adds such a great vibe. The food is always perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor every single visit. I’ve been here a few times, and without fail, both the food and service are consistently on point. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a great meal and a fun, lively environment! Five stars all the way!

Stopped in this quaint place while on vacation and wonderfully impressed. First, as we were getting out of our ride from the hotel, the people at the outdoor greeted us enthusiastically while letting the workers know we were coming into the establishment. From that point on, things got better- service was awesome and we happened to stop in on open Mike night. The band was good however, the Food is their beat calling card. As the name states, the Fish is on Fire.

If you want a nice local place to get some tacos or fish in Orlando, especially near the airport, this is the place. It’s not fancy, it’s down to earth and I will come back next time we are in town. We got a few tacos, grouper sandwich, and some margs before we caught our flight out. Service was friendly and quick. See you next time!

I have driven by Fish On Fire 100 times and finally stopped by for lunch. I look forward to trying them out for dinner and some live music. The decor in the restaurant was fantastic! It felt more like a beach restaurant! I got the Fofer burger with fries which was a great lunch portion.

Every dish tasted like it was made with care. I also tried the Sweetwater 240 IPA, which paired perfectly with the meal and was a great recommendation. Overall, a memorable experience and definitely a spot I’d return to.

Honestly upon walking in I was like oh boy what have we done. My Entire party of 9 was very Pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious from steak to seafood nobody had one complaint about the food as a matter of fact the complete opposite. The staff was so pleasant and went above and beyond to make us happy. I had mahi with collard greens and fries and I haven’t had greens as good as when my dad used to make them for me. YUM!! I don’t know if I’ll ever have the pleasure of eating here again but I hope so!!

While at Fort wilderness Disney, I was looking for a lunch spot that wasn't fancy or fast food. Found this on TripAdvisor, saw the reviews and went. Great local restaurant, we will be back next year. PS Cold Beer!

One of my favorite restaurants when I come to Orlando. Fish On Fire has been a favorite of FlightSafety International instructors and students for as long as I've been coming here (15+ years). The go-to is the blackened fish sandwich. Very tender and juicy. On this occasion, some of the fries were a little undercooked, but that was my only complaint. Service is friendly and was reasonably fast, even during the lunch rush. Decor is Florida dive bar themed with an inside/outside bar. Jimmy Buffett would have felt at home here.

My kid had caught a black fin tuna a few months ago and we wanted to see what a restaurant would do with it. We got it done 3 ways blackened and two other ways. All three were good and the sides were nice. The place has a beachy vibe. They have a pass through bar so expect the restaurant to be warm inside. We went relatively early and they had a band playing and so it was a bit loud.

Chicken sandwich was very good. The side portion of fries was very small. Not bad overall. Staff was very friendly.

The food itself was decent, nothing worth writing home about. The catfish basket came with a palm size serving of fried fish, along with a tiny 1/8 of a cup serving of coleslaw and four tiny hush puppies. You can't tell in the picture, but under the tartar sauce is the coleslaw. Same little squirt cup container, a mouthful of coleslaw if you're lucky. Almost four dollar up charge to substitute a side salad. The draft beer was cold, I'll give them credit for that, at almost six dollars a pint, I would hope so. Waitress was very polite and attentive, and the whole vibe is pretty upbeat, with southern rock playing on the sound system. This place is in the same parking lot as the La Quinta hotel, and i feel that's the main source of customers. YMMV.

My husband and I were staying at a hotel near by so we stopped in. We each ordered the blackened grouper dinner and it was not good. The fish was boney, the hush puppies had zero flavor and the vegetable medley consisted of broccoli and one piece of cauliflower. The "medley" was clearly frozen and not fresh, and void of any butter or seasoning. On the plus side, our server was very nice and there was a band playing. I feel that this restaurant only stays in business because of the out of towners that stumble upon it. A big disappointment considering it's called...fish on fire! 🫤

Went with a family of 8. The mahi was good, the kids pizza was fine, the crab dip was tasty but didn't come with enough ritz crackers, steak was mediocre, the blackened shrimp was good. Overall nothing was amazing but nothing was really bad. There was a live band, which was nice if you like it, but it was too loud to hold a normal conversation with anyone at the table. Overall, glad we tried it, but would not go back again and probably wouldn't recommend it unless you get the mahi blackened or blacked shrimp.

Atmosphere looks cool. Tables are outdated. This is a seat yourself restaurant. Our waitress was a bit slow. It was busy but not wild busy. Food is decent. Our bill for an appetizer and two entrees totaled 70ish. Food isn’t priced well.

This place came highly recommended, and since we were in the area decided to stop in for lunch. Unfortunately, we can’t share the recommendation. I had the fried grouper basket and I was very disappointed. The grouper was obviously not fresh at all. They were a bit on the chewy side and “quite fishy” not like fresh grouper. My husband had the chicken finger basket and he said they were “so so.” The only thing we can say was fairly good were the onion straws. Our server was very nice and attentive. With that said we will not return.

Food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the blackened grouper. It was overcooked and the blackened seasoning should have been call "just make it so salty it's painful to eat". The sides (black beans & rice and cheese grits) were good but not hot. The atmosphere can be summed up as "this is every seafood bar and grill in Florida". That's not a bad thing..but I feel like I've been in this place hundreds of times even though this was my first visit. The only saving grace was the service. The woman who waited on me was awesome. I wish I could remember her name...I'd suggest they give her a raise. I will not return.

Now this restaurant seems to be trying to charge for every little thing. A month ago, we ordered fish dip which comes with crackers. We needed a few more crackers to fish the dip. They brought 5 additional crackers ( singles not packages) and they charged $1.00 on the bill. REALLY!!!. Then the other day we ordered ribs. They were beef ribs, and a little dry. There was no sauce on the table, or container on the plate. We asked for a little more bbq sauce and they charged $0.50 each for two TINY containers. WOW..... The food is okay, but the petty charging is ridiculous. At least tell customers there is an additional charge when they request these items.
