I can't believe I'm writing a review about an airport restaurant, but Sunshine Diner in C terminal is outstanding. Sit down. Order. Pleasant and happy servers. Portions are huge! My waitress explained that their goal was to help you relax and feed you well so you can sleep on your flight!
AMAZING food!!! Tim took care of our every need. He was professional and explained the menus (and wonderful cocktails) in great detail! Love this place ☀️
Great delight to dine - service was excellent, the food was very good quality and cooked to perfection, and the selection of dishes is sure to get anyone's taste buds excited! No mimosas as was there before 7am, but will look out to return on future flights to test out more of the menu.
Tim went above and beyond to take care of us. Not only was the service excellent, but he truly helped us out by making sure everything moved quickly so we could catch our flight on time, great food and drink recommendations as well!
Great spot for delicious, hot food! Our server was Tim and he did a great job. Our plane was delayed and he was accommodating, friendly, and not rushing us, helping us feel relaxed to hang out as long as we needed! Thank you
Friendliest and most attentive staff ever! Food was great, staff even better. It seems like they enjoyed working there and they all worked together as a team.
My waiter Josh, was fantastic! I had an early dinner here and it was quite busy at the airport a week before Memorial Day. He handled the volume of customers with relative ease as the service he provided for me was great! The grilled chicken salad I had was excellent and very reasonably priced. If a flying customer is looking for good service and some healthy options to chose from, THIS is the place to go to!😃
Zulisa S was amazing! She handle a huge crowd of people effortlessly efficiently and gracefully the food was comforting and thanks to Zulisa sent us off feeling good to our flight
Tim and Marie, were fabulous, big thing for me is we actually got waited on. do NOT like having to order food on my phone ( comes back wrong every time. Love Tim wonderful to talk to
Always delicious. Tim greets us with a smile & with super fast service. Thousands of customers coming thru MCO…and Tim somehow remembers our food order! Highly recommend when flying out of terminal C
Breakfast chicken sandwich was amazing. Thank you Tim for your amazing service and food recommendations. I’ll be sure to stop in next time I’m traveling through MCO on JetBlue.
The Mahi sandwich was delicious. Iv want sure about the use of sweet pickles but it worked! Or server Timothy was helpful with my special food needs.
Our flight was delayed and Tim did a great job making us feel like we could take our time, hang out, and not rush. The food was also excellent!
Turkey sandwich and side Caesar salad were perfect. Great service from Bridget. She was attentive, helpful, friendly without being overbearing. Perfect preflight meal.
Seriously some of the best airport food I have ever had. We were stuck in Orlando for 2 days and had two meals here and they were great. Chris definitely stood out to us. His customer service was great and helped make our travel woes a little more fun.
Excellent addition to terminal C at MCO. We love going to Art Smith's Homecoming at Disney Springs, and we were so excited to see this. The moonshine and bloody mary were delicious, and the food was outstanding. Our sandwiches came out very fast, and they were great. The server was attentive and friendly. It was pretty busy too. This was a perfect place to have a meal and some drinks while waiting for a flight.
Such a ray of sunshine in the airport. Gorgeous atmosphere, excellent whole foods, great service. Zulisa served us quickly and with a smile! Highly recommend if you are passing through the Orlando airport and want a healthy fast meal!!
Tim was excellent! The service was quick and we were able to enjoy a delicious dinner and some pretty amazing moonshine (strawberry lemon) on his recommendations! Great experience at MCO We will return on our next visit!
It is so amazing to find a restaurant that actually cooks real food in an airport. My wife and I truly enjoyed our experience at Sunshine Diner. The server was engaging, humorous, and Latino, but the food was made to order and delicious. The fresh squeezed Florida orange juice was “WOW”.
Great food, great drinks and great service when you're waiting for your flight. It's the best place to eat in Terminal C. We love coming here and getting good food and good shine just prior to our flights every time we are in Florida. The breakfast chicken sandwich always satisfies!
Excellent service and food. I ordered the Oatmeal and danish in case the portion was small. The service size is fairly large. I had to take my order to go. All in all I enjoyed the food and the service was great.
Tim is an excellent server. I came in to have a salad and wine, with no expectations to be treated so attentively by him. He made a suggestion of salad with mahi and it was delicious with my bottle of Malbec.
All day breakfast - yes ! I had a hearty Eggs Your Way - full meal with sourdough toast . Mike the waiter , exceptional service! Price was pretty good for an airport .
Food was super tasty and our waitress, Bridget was amazing. She was attentive, friendly and made sure we had everything that we needed. We got scrambled eggs, bacon, toast & a chicken sandwich. Drinks were good as well. Glad we stopped by during our layover.
Chris was amazing!! Funny, energetic and getting us through our flight delay! If you’re in MCO and through the JetBlue terminal definitely pay him and his staff a visit at the Sunshine Diner!
Just walking by this place you feel the positive energy it gives off… I stopped in for some French Toast which includes caramelized bananas, seasonal berries and of course your maple syrup. Airport food has always been looked at as fast food, un healthy and bland. This place is the flip side of all those things. I see myself easily coming back to eat here if I’m back at terminal c. Thank you Stephanie O for your great warm welcome truly appreciate you!
5 stars all around—one of the first airport bars I’ve been to that was clean, reasonably priced, had excellent service, and was overall super pleasant to be in. Huge shoutout to Chris (lead bartender) who was awesome—loved chatting it up with him! The diner is located in terminal C (mainly for international and Jet Blue flights). Worth the trip from terminals A & B if you have a delayed flight or long layover. Thank you Chris for making my first experience a great one!
Usually, when you eat at an airport, the experience can be hit or miss, but the Sunshine Diner at Orlando International Airport’s Terminal C was impressively smooth. From the moment I sat down, Bridget, my server, set the tone for a welcoming meal. Her attentiveness was remarkable. Bridget was constantly checking in to make sure everything tasted great and ensuring my water glass never ran empty. I ordered the "Eggs Your Way," which came with three eggs, chicken sausage, and toast. It was lunchtime, but I ordered this particular breakfast entree, and it was prepared promptly, which is crucial when dining at an airport. It came out fairly quickly, and I didn't feel rushed or worried about missing my boarding call. In comparison to other airport restaurants that I have eaten at, the Sunshine Diner exceeded my expectations, getting my meal out quickly without compromising the quality of the meal. Overall, the combination of great service from Bridget, timely food preparation from the kitchen, and an enjoyable airport dining atmosphere makes the Sunshine Diner a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable breakfast before international travel.

Home fries could have been crispier, but the flavors and price were pretty good for an airport diner. The chicken sausage and the sourdough brioche were of much higher quality than other diners I've been to.
We were a party of 8 - with 35 minutes before our flight. Tim was our server - he was friendly, efficient, got all of our orders correct and ensured we had our food and drinks in time to enjoy before our flight. Thank you Tim! Everyone in our group loved the food and drinks. I had a Woodford Manhattan and a turkey club. Both were delicious! I wish we had Sunshine diners in the northeast! I highly recommend!
Christopher G was my server/bartender. He was attentive and charismatic! Very funny and personable. Food was excellent and average priced for airport food. For those with morning flights alcohol is not available till 9am. Highlighly recommend eating here and if you can sit at the bar!
It was SLAMMED when we came by, but Zulisa took care of us, and made sure we got a meal before our flight took off. She was amazing and knew exactly what to recommend. I'm full, happy, and my daughter got exactly what she wanted. Sunshine is worth it, if your gate is anywhere near the diner.
We had a party of 8 and were running close to our departure! Tim was our server! He was outstanding. He was so personable and efficient. He got our meals, drinks and to go boxes for our leftovers and we made the flight without any problems. He was absolutely one if the best servers I’ve ever had, especially at an airport! I’ll recommend your restaurant to friends making the trip to Orlando airport and I’ll definitely be back again next time I visit! Thank you for the great service and food!
Quick service, brisket hash was good and a generous portion. Not super flavorful but great for airport food, prices in line with an airport. Cold brew was great too. Chris was very attentive and friendly.

The diner had a couple of people inside. The hostess seated my party of four right away. He gave us a moment and came back and took our orders. He came back right away with our coffee, tea and hot chocolate. I ordered the yogurt with whole wheat and fresh fruits. It was a nice portion and it tasted really good.
If you have to eat at the airport in Orlando, terminal C, this is not a bad place. Yes prices are typically airport high, but the food came fairly quickly, ensuring we made our flight. My wife had the egg, bacon and cheese sandwich on a brioche bun. She liked it. The breakfast potatoes that came with it were also very good, nicely seasoned and very tasty. I shared a chocolate chip muffin and it was OK. A little undercooked on top which could not be eaten. We later found out the muffins and danishes come in from another location/vendor (you can find them in other stops along the terminal). My son had one chicken empebada which he loked. Other than our waitress not checking in on us, we had a good experience overall.
As far as airport food goes, it was pretty good. We only had a Cuban sandwich and an empanada but they both were pretty tasty. The food came out fast and the service was good. A nice lunch before having to grab the plane back home. The restaurant was nice and bright it was very welcoming. For those who like breakfast all day, this may be your spot.

Sunshine Diner at Orlando Airport lands squarely in the acceptable but flawed category. The food itself is serviceable, nothing memorable yet nothing offensive either, which in the world of airport dining can sometimes be a quiet win. However, what truly holds this place back is the glaring lack of cleanliness. Sticky tables, crumbs and scraps scattered across the floor, and the general feeling that the space hasn’t had the deep wipe-down it desperately needs make it hard to fully enjoy a meal here. A diner lives and dies by atmosphere, and this one feels like it’s running on half power. But — and this is important — the service is exceptional. The staff runs like a well-oiled machine, moving guests in and out efficiently, and their friendliness elevates what could have been a forgettable stop into something better. There’s genuine hospitality here, and it shows. With even a modest investment in keeping the environment as sharp as the service team, Sunshine Diner could become one of the airport’s must-stop spots rather than just an okay one. Encouragingly, the potential is right there — the food is passable, the team is excellent, and the only missing ingredient is the attention to cleanliness that travelers deserve. A little polish could go a very long way.
My waiter (I think his name was Brian) was super cool and attentive. That was the high point of this restaurant experience. Prepare yourself for airport restaurant prices. The food here is pretty mediocre. The turkey in the club sandwich I got was clearly cheap cold cuts. The fries were halfway decent but a quarter of them were soggy. I liked the decorations.
We went for lunch while waiting for our flight, obviously. I had two beers, they were fine. My husband enjoyed his Cuban. My fried chicken sandwich was super, super fried, almost to the point of being too hard to eat. Service was great, and I enjoyed my side salad.

Sunshine Diner – MCO Airport At first, I didn’t think much of my plate, but after looking at the potatoes on other people’s plates, I realized mine were really burnt 😩. By the time I noticed, it was too late to say anything since I had a flight to catch, so I didn’t even eat them. The eggs, bread, and pancakes were good quality, but for $18.50, I definitely expected better consistency overall. I understand airport dining is fast-paced, but food should still be properly prepared.

The burger and fries were amazing. The chicken sausage my husband had with breakfast was deep fried so it was dry. Our server Zuli was so friendly. I enjoyed our visit here. Great and friendly service. Bright and cheery restaurant
