Palm Greens Cafe Palm Springs, California Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆ On our previous visit to Palm Springs we already knew this restaurant was on our list to try. During this trip we finally had the chance to dine there and we are both very glad we did. The food is delicious and the staff is truly wonderful. The menu includes many vegan and vegetarian options as well as gluten free choices, which makes it welcoming for a wide range of guests. I am not vegan or vegetarian, but I enjoy trying new and healthy dishes. My husband leans more toward vegan and vegetarian meals, so this restaurant was a perfect fit for both of us. We enjoyed our first meal so much that we returned a second time. Our first visit was for lunch and our second was for breakfast. The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. We ordered several dishes to share including the Hummus Avocado Toast with hummus spread, roasted tomato, and avocado. We also tried the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a brioche bun, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and mayo. Another favorite was the Falafel Wrap with greens, hummus, falafel, and tzatziki. Each dish was seasoned well and thoughtfully prepared. I honestly did not expect to feel full, but I left the restaurant completely satisfied. When we returned for breakfast the restaurant was much busier, but the staff still found us a table quickly. We ordered the Breakfast Sandwich with a choice of brioche or gluten free bun and either eggs, cheddar, and sausage or the vegan option with scrambled tofu, vegan cheese, and vegan sausage. We also ordered the Cold Potato which included baked sweet potato, cashew yogurt, granola, cacao, and berries. We added a side of tempeh bacon which was crispy, savory, and a great plant based alternative. Every bite was delicious and left us wanting to explore even more of the menu. The restaurant also serves a wide variety of salads, bowls, sandwiches, and burgers. They offer organic fresh squeezed juices, smoothies, wellness shots, coffee, tea, beer, and wine. There is something for every preference and every time of day. The staff members are excellent and work together as a team. We were helped by several people during both visits, which shows a strong commitment to guest service and genuine care for their patrons. Both visits were fantastic and this restaurant has quickly become one of our favorites in Palm Springs. It is not only the delicious food that brings us back but also the exceptional staff. We look forward to returning on our next trip.
Loved this spot. Healthy vegan and even raw options. There’s something sweet and savory for all times of day. Strawberry date shake was the fave.
So happy to find another great lunch spot in Palm Springs! Plenty of plant-based/vegan options here! Food was fresh and delicious. I had a vegan gluten-free Caesar Salad and a Mushroom Patty Melt. So satisfying! Service was excellent and the vibe is casual and relaxing.
This is a hidden gem just at edge of downtown. It is delicious high quality all organic food. Big portions, nice relaxing cozy atmosphere. Strongly recommend. Best food in Palm springs.
Palm Greens Cafe is the best spot in Palm Springs for a healthy breakfast or lunch that still serves real meat (for us carnivores). The food is super fresh, the service is quick, efficient and they have so many good options on the menu, it’s hard to choose a favorite - breakfast platter w/ French toast, breakfast tacos, chicken Caesar wrap. I’m also obsessed with their fresh squeezed OJ and their COFFEE 😋
Yum!!! I had been to this little spot about 6 years ago when the menu was much different. They're expanded menu has tons more options but still has plenty of vegan and vegetarian fare. My husband was skeptical, but he said it was one of the best salads he'd ever had! We also ordered the vegan cinnamon French toast, The Impossible Burger, and the avocado bowl. The portion sizes were huge!! One thing to note they don't have tap water, they only serve boxed water which they charge $1.50 for. We got a Rice krispie treat to go for our dessert and it was pretty good. This is not the cheapest Cafe in Palm Springs I'm sure, but the food was good and we beat the rush! I'd definitely go back next time we're in town!
highly recommend for my veg friends! lots of vegan/vegetarian options. tried the vegan french toast, tofu scramble, tempeh bacon, vegan sausage patties, and a matcha smoothie and it was all excellent! and the outdoor seating area is adorable.
Absolutely delicious food and fantastic, friendly service! The breakfast platter and huevos rancheros were bomb. Great flavors. The breakfast sausage is super tasty (with fennel seeds!). The outdoor seating is meh, nice to have a breeze, but it's in a cramped alley with loud exhaust fans. They have really tried to make a cute seating area outside with what they have (super tough in this area). Dog-friendly as well, including water bowls, which is awesome!
Excellent vegan breakfast tacos, very filling. I will definitely be back!
I had a fantastic wet breakfast burrito. The sauces are dancing on my taste buds. The Vietnamese Coffee was the perfect pairing. My wife loved her breakfast tacos. All the fruit and avocados were fresh and lovely. Staff was great.
First time here. Wanted a nice healthy lunch, and overall better choice of nourishment during my pregnancy journey. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I ordered the Whole Chicken Sandwich (for me) & the Butternut squash soup (For my mother to add to her dinner tonight). My sandwich was excellent! My mother loved the soup, she sampled it and loved it! I'll definitely be back, next week to be exact and bringing a friend from Texas with me as well 💚

Back again. For the tempeh Ruben always! The vegan lasagna was so so good. 2024: The LGBTQ+ wrap proceeds gets donated to The Trevor Project. They veganized it! Love this place.
Once you get over getting your own water and the old mothy smell this place is quite pleasant and delicious. The food was good. I felt like they're trying to be a full service restaurant but they prefer to do counter service. We had a smoothie and a burrito. I added the wet option and omg chefs kiss! The smoothie was yummy too. Good selection of food smoothies and coffees., but will get it to go next time I'm sorry that smell almost had me not give this place a chance.
Amazing vegan options! The food was insanely delicious, this is hands down the best place to get a breakfast that has you walking away feeling like you did something good for yourself.
I ordered a roasted vegetable salad with salmon ahead and picked it up. It was delicious! There’s many gluten free and vegan options as well.

Palm Greens Cafe has something for meat eaters and vegans alike. We Really enjoyed the vegan biscuits and gravy. The date shake was refreshing and delicious. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The steady flow of customers shows that this is the place to be if you're looking for healthy food in Palm Springs.
Good food and nice vegan selection. Service was quick as well and the portion size was decent. Glad that they have a vegan date shake. That’s said, the staff can be a bit polite, humble, and attentive. When we asked for the table, we were asked several times if everyone was here. It’s fine to ask, but an interrogative style is not needed. They messed up with our order (eventually fixed), but there was no acknowledgment of the miss. The food is pricey, like $ 7 USD for a tofu ads-on. And the 20% tip was self-applied (we would have tipped the same or more, but nowhere did we read that for a party of 5, there is a 20% service charge).
Tried this restaurant a few weeks back because they have some vegan options. My husband got the açaí bowl. He enjoyed it. We really went because I saw they had vegan biscuits and gravy. When the server bought it to the table I was hesitant because of how it looked. I was pleasantly surprised on how good it was. It wasn’t really hot though. It was like warm, almost cold. I didn’t finish it because of that and really didn’t want to send it back. Had it been hot I would have really enjoyed it.
Large menu for both plant-based and carnivores! I had the dirty chai tea. My husband had a local beer. My vegan mushroom patty melt was delicious and my husband enjoyed his grass fed burger.

Loved all the food we had and the drinks. The service was a little slow though. It took time for them to even give us our check. I had acai bowl for the first time and it was delicious. I tried the Beets by Greg drink and it was just tooooooo goooddddd. My friends had biscuits and gravy, english breakfast and pancakes. Pancakes were okay and felt a little dry! I tried my friends Biscuit and gravy and it was delicious. They have a huge variety though.
We needed an early lunch for the road, so got take out here. I ordered the lasagna and it was not good at all in my opinion. First, it looked gray and flat. I promise I took that picture in the sun and tried to make it look as good as possible. Second, it was small, especially for $20: there were only two layers of pasta, so it wasn't thick, and it wasn't that large a slice. Third, it tasted about as good as it looked. (I didn't realize it was gluten free, but that's probably why the pasta was especially disappointing.) I will say the biscuits and gravy were redeeming (despite being not a great take-out food). The root vegetable hash tofu scramble was bland: I suspect the tofu was flavored only with a bit of turmeric and salt, perhaps. We added two packets of cholula and then added salsa to give it some flavor.

Being that my husband is a vegan, we rather enjoyed dining at this funky little eatery. It offers healthy, unprocessed options for both of us, and I enjoyed a truly delicious grass-fed burger with a scrumptious broccoli coleslaw. The decor is a somewhat drab interpretation of a vintage Palm Springs mid-century cafe, and the air conditioning is on the swampy side. But the food more than makes up for the decor and dank air! We got the impression that there were more locals than tourists at this spot. I returned another time to order take away and waited and waited and waited some more at the counter to order, with no one in front of me. There was only one waiter serving many tables, so I appreciate that they were probably short staffed that day. I ended up leaving since no one came to take my order. Still, 4 stars for a terrific menu and great food.
Putting 2 stars cause the atmosphere and service were good but the food was terrible. The wild salmon frittata was basically fried omelette, has nothing to do with the real frittata. The pancakes were raw and when they redid them they forgot to hold the blueberries. My husband didn’t like the breakfast sausage either. The only thing that we did like was the turmeric shot.

I had high hopes that this place would be kind of like Flower Child since there isn’t one in the area, but it was honestly just super mid. The food was fine, but definitely not worth the steep price. I wouldn’t go back unfortunately.
As someone who’s been plant-based for 10 years, most vegan-friendly places have a loving environment to them. This place does not, especially Marco who doesn’t greet with a smile and gets visibly frustrated when you simply change your mind about a menu item while ordering. Makes you feel like your food will no longer be made with kindness. Would call it a bad day, but it’s happened more than once.
