Great service. Friendly, competent staff. Good food at great prices. Good quality and fresh.

We stopped by Baja Fresh one evening while in the area. I hadn't been to a Baja Fresh for years since the one near our house closed. But it used to be our go-to place for great burritos. My favorite was the Baja Burrito, so I decided to order one on my recent visit. It was just as good as I remembered. I got mine with mixed meats (chicken and steak) and didn't regret that decision. The protein, guacamole, and pico de gallo worked together to create a very tasty burrito. On the downside, the restaurant appeared to be working with a skeleton crew, with one counter service person and one cook. But they were efficient and the quality of the food did not suffer. I enjoyed my visit and would drop in again when in the area

This chain offers good quality food at competitive prices, in the past there were more restaurants open but the number has decreased. The food choices are varied and it offers selection for those who are vegetarian

Been coming to this location since 2005 and what I say is that their food is consistent, crew is attentive and atmospheric restaurant is much better since 2005. It's clean and run like a well oiled machine. So many options of good food to select from. Easy and free parking convenient to shop after at Ralph's and other businesses. If you have the App and a rewards member your purchases add up and you get $10 off quick. I come least few times since we know their food is delicious.

For fresh burritos, tacos, quesadillas and much more, head to Baja Fresh. The prices are fair and the quality of absolutely delicious food is worth every cent. My family and I always enjoy eating at Baja Fresh. The atmosphere is authentic and the employees are friendly and attentive.

Great place. I liked Baja Fresh when they opened up store #1 in Newbury Park. Great food, good prices. It is comfort food for both my wife and I. If you've never been here, go. If you have been there, go again!

Baja Fresh in general is pretty great. Delicious fresh food that doesn't feel like you're eating garbage. I've been coming to this location since they opened a very long time ago and it's always been a pleasure. The staff is always friendly and helpful. And the food here has never let me down. My favorites are the Burrito Ultimo, Baja Burrito and the Tortilla Soup. I generally get chicken but the steak, carnitas and shrimp are all quite good as well. And the Baja Salsa isn't spicy but it is delicious. And the Mocajete Salsa is my go to for some spice.

I just finished eating at this Baja Fresh location and it’s the best one I have been to. The chef that was working around 1/1:30pm on 10/28/23 was amazing. The pork carnitas were so tender and juicy, just perfection! I will legitimately drive out of my way just to go to this one next time I’m craving Baja Fresh. Great job guys!

Enjoyed a grilled shrimp chili lime salad. The shrimp was so tasty, and the little strips of tortilla gave it just the right crunch. Wow, I was really impressed. Sat outside and enjoyed a breeze talking to friends.

Came last Thursday, had a chicken burrito it was great, nice and beefy like when they first opened. Because of it we went to get the same tonight and what a disappointment. The burrito was half the size. This is why I stopped coming here. So I realized that Thursday was fluke. The taste and quality great but the quantity not so much

I just saw hundreds of rats on their north east parking lot at 11:00 pm on 10/04/25. I’m not sure which business this blue garbage cans belongs to but it needs to be managed with corrective action. Rats are pests and need to be managed. Please whichever food operation uses this take care of your pest problem. Spread the word. Thank you.

Gave Baja a try cause i thought Chipotle was a no longer a good value for the price. Here i paid 14.75 for a regular chicken bowl PLUS $1.40 for a tiny pinch of cheese …also got a ton of onions even though i asked for none. going back to chipotle

Gave Baja a try cause i thought Chipotle was a no longer a good value for the price. Here i paid 14.75 for a regular chicken bowl PLUS $1.40 for a tiny pinch of cheese …also got a ton of onions even though i asked for none. going back to chipotle

I always wondered why Baja Fresh started dying out, after 15 years, I found one in Pasadena for Nostalgic reason and to satisfy my curiosity as to why they are dying, I ordered my usual Mexicano burrito, upon opening the burrito, I immediately saw why, the meat is on 1/4 end of the burrito and 3/4 is all rice which is by the way overcooked, and the taste is very bland and the Baja Fresh I always knew is in existence. To make matter worst, this burrito is $17, what a rip off!

This is what I get for giving the benefit of the doubt and giving another chance.
