Had dinner with friends on a saturday night. Great and tasty fritto misto di pesce and the pizza certainly is a must to eat! We had a table indoors but there are also tables outside if you choose it. Atmosphere is just friendly and relaxed all around. Price is not so bad either. Highly recommend for those looking to eat good fish and pizza dishes. Next time we shall try the pasta and meat dishes.

My Grandfather built this restaurant! My Dad grew up and lived above the restaurant! I've been many times, my Dad sold it to the people who now own it before he died. They ran it for many years as he lived in the USA. There is so much of my family history in Candia, we can't wait to go again and bring our son! The food is delicious! Ciao!

Location bellina, si mangia vista lago. Lato menù, discreto e da trattoria (non ci sono piatti sofisticati), il fritto misto (surgelato) ma fritto bene. Buoni i dolci fatti in casa. Le cameriere molto gentili. Abbiamo passato un buon pranzo domenicale. I prezzi leggermente sopra la media.

Bel ristorante direttamente sulla sponda del lago di CANDIA con bellissimo panorama.Prospicente al ristorante parcheggia il battello,( rigorosamente elettrico)e d'altronde e' vietata la navigazione a scoppio,visto che ci troviamo in una riserva,naturalistica lagunare,dove non ci si puo' avvicinarsi alla riva,che e' quasi tutta privata,e con alti canneti.Ritornando alla ristorazione del LIDO,con annessa pizzeria serale,il menù,e' ricco di pesce sia del lago, che di mare,senza dimenticare l' ottima cucina Canavese con richiami tipici piemontesi.I prezzi sono adeguati al livello dei menu proposto,compreso il pasto di mezzogiorno.Naturalmente nel dehor esterno,durante i pasti, le varie papere ,vi faranno la corte per qualche boccone volante , e l'elegante salone interno,e' stato rigorosamente adeguato alle misure anticovid.

The place itself is truly beautiful and charming, with a view that's well worth it. The waitresses are kind and polite, but unfortunately, the lady at the cash register has an attitude that ruins the atmosphere: she's clearly rude, offers very rude responses, and doesn't even make eye contact. Wow, there are such polite girls in the dining room... why not put one of them at the cash register? And I'm not the only one saying this: reading the reviews, the problem always seems to be the same. A note also to the parents who frequent the place: teach your children to respect animals. The other night, while I was having dinner, I saw a mother encouraging her children to throw stones at the ducks. A father making his children run after the ducks... I wanted to intervene, but it would have been the staff's job to stop these scenes. The fried fish is delicious when freshly prepared, but on very busy nights, it arrives dry, as if it had been pre-fried and then reheated. And then, it's unacceptable for a customer to be pressured into ordering: if I come for a drink while looking at the lake (I called, asked, and booked), I first enjoy the moment, then I order. Being told, "Hey, I'm in a hurry" certainly doesn't look good. In conclusion: Price and quality of food: good. Pet-friendly: 1000 points; I really appreciate the fact that we can bring our furry friends. Things to improve: courtesy at the cash register, handling incidents of disrespect toward animals, less pressure on the customer, and more attention to food preparation on busy days. A little tip: if you don't want to be the dinner, bring your dog.

This restaurant enjoys a spectacular location, just steps from the lake. The food is good, although some portions aren't generous. They don't have a set menu, but you can order à la carte. The restaurant also serves a pizzeria.

A pleasant and positive pizza experience, while we reserve the right to try the à la carte menu later, when the weather allows us to enjoy the beautiful view. Beautiful location right on the shores of Lake Candia in the Canavese area. Very spacious, with somewhat spartan, basic furnishings. A pleasant, spacious wood-fired oven. Very good pizza, light and well-leavened dough, fresh, quality ingredients, and reasonable prices. The only downside: out of five people visible in the dining room (owners and employees), only the waitress at the tables and the pizza chef were wearing masks. The person who greeted us at the door and escorted us to our table only wore one for that walk, then wandered around the rest of the room without one, while the rest of the room was still unoccupied. A middle-aged couple (perhaps the owners) moved from table to table, albeit far from the seated customers, but without wearing masks throughout the entire evening.

Locale in riva al lago, ne bello ne brutto, ottimo accesso al lago. I gestori sono molto easy, quindi puoi acquistare un caffe o una bibita e poi vai a bertela dove ti piace in riva al lago portandoti dietro la sedia senza che nessuno ti faccia storie. In una giornata di sole é perfetto per rilassarsi guardando le paperelle in riva al lago

Mi dispiace dover dare una recensione negativa. 5 euro per una birra Paulaner ci può stare ma 8 euro per 4 persone per un tagliere, grissini e pane è troppo poco. Dopo ho chiesto delle patatine e la signora è stata molto gentile e non me le ha fatte pagare...

Locali esterni non curati e sporchi, nessuna gentilezza né accoglienza, soprattutto alla cassa. Per 2 aperitivi non danno noccioline di accompagnamento, acquistate patatine in busta non di marca. Ho messo una stella perché meno non si può. Non siamo graditi non c'è problema, non torniamo a disturbare, ci scusiamo per avervi disturbato.

Buonasera , vi do un consiglio se potete evitate di andare a mangiare in questa pizzeria , se si può chiamarla così. Presa la comanda da parte della cameriera dopo 5 minuti torna al nostro tavolo dicendoci che degli ingredienti sono finiti, accettiamo le modifiche. Ma quando le pizze arrivano al tavolo dopo un 'ora circa di attesa: 1. Sbagliano una pizza e ne portano un'altra. 2. La square era ad impasto crudo , nonostante le nostre lamentele la proprietaria ci ha totalmente ignorata e quando siamo andati alla cassa non ha minimamente accennato al disagio procurato. Non consiglio a nessuno di andare in questa pizzeria.

We didn't even get to eat: After an 8-hour journey from France, we needed to relax and have a good time. We found the place very nice. We kindly introduced ourselves to a woman at the bar, who looked at us askance and said "no." Without even taking a minute to explain why. I then asked her, "But why do I see so many empty seats everywhere?" She replied very coldly, "No." We found that very discriminating... It's a shame we couldn't give it zero stars. (Fortunately, we found a small restaurant not far from here where we received good service.)

Seems like if you're not in their grace they'll just treat you poorly. From entrance to leaving we didn't feel welcome, we're put in the worst table, we're treated poorly, even while paying. We're staying just in front for the whole week but we know where we will not be eating again. Food was ok.

Horrible place.... Pizzeria without pizza at 5 o'clock in the evening even if we are talking about the time when rowing matches were in progress... So, a lot of people bit no pizza... Keep it closed, would be better!!!!
