Ce que disent les clients de Label 7
Label 7 in Pittsford receives high praise for its atmosphere, drink selection, and friendly staff, especially Nicole. The fried green tomatoes and steak frites are popular, but some found the steak frites needed more seasoning and some dishes were inconsistent.

New Year’s Eve dinner and food was really good we had the crab cakes. steak frites (needed a bit more seasoning or at least salt ) and the fish special … atmosphere was great. The service was excellent Nicole went above and beyond!
We love the atmosphere in Label! The Brussel sprouts were delicious. I ordered the steak frites as med/well and it came out extremely well — next time I’ll go med in case. My husband enjoyed his sandwich. The service was good overall. ——————————— Update: Since my first review we’ve been back several times. Maybe 5 more times?? I think it improves with every visit in different ways. Service has been outstanding! Our waitresses have genuinely been phenomenal. All food has been incredible. We enjoyed the nachos, fried green tomatoes, chicken and waffles, and the chicken sandwich is the best I’ve had for a chicken sandwich. The crab cake sandwich is also excellent. Recently, they had chili with toppings as a special appetizer and it was delicious—wish I could get the recipe! Label offers a pleasant environment with a nice vibe for people of all ages. The menu offers something for everyone. You can choose from many entrees and specials, or go with a simple salad or handheld. It’s nice for lunch or dinner, with friends or family, or a nice date night. Well done, Label!
First time at label to meet up up with a group of women in real estate. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and a nice wine selection! Plenty of room for us in the bar area. I didn't get a chance to try the food this time but my friends devoured theirs. I will definitely be back and try the food next time!
Had the Fried Green BLT sans Bacon and it was delicious. Perfect G&T to accompany a sunny evening dinner on the patio in front of the canal. Great service and great food. Will definitely return!
Came here to have some catch up time with a friend- we sat at the bar which has a wonderful atmosphere. I ordered cosmos and my friend -the espresso martini- both were great! We also got the bread and cheese app, chicken flatbread and the nys steak which was cooked perfectly! I have nothing bad to say and would come back for sure!
Had an amazing experience at Label 7. It was my first time here and I couldn’t believe how beautiful the restaurant was inside! We had the fried green tomatoes (amazing) and bee sting bruschetta as our appetizers and the chicken and waffles for my entree. It was the BEST chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. Highly recommended their food here, was very impressed with the ambience and quality of the food 👏🏼
Food was great but service was not. We were sitting at our table for 20 minutes before anyone even came over. It looked like there was only one server for the whole restaurant. She was very nice but it seemed like they needed more staff.
The food was good. Our waitress was great! The bartender made me a delicious cocktail. I will definitely be back.
The vibe was cool, staff was awesome! Tables were comfortable to sit at and the bar area had plenty of seating as well. I went w a group of 8. Most of us ordered the cutlet over a salad, salad was great, that lemon vinaigrette was so delicious! Cutlets on the other hand were dried out and tough- def overcooked. Edges were so tough they couldn’t be eaten. That was disappointing. I’ve had a million better cutlets at other places. The special of the night (pasta w short ribs) was fantastic I was told (didn’t try it myself). I tried the maple old fashioned and really enjoyed it. Friends got the #7 and liked it, that’s definitely on the sweeter side. Truffle fries were really good too! Service was phenomenal, staff awesome! Only complaint was the cutlet- which I think 6 of us ordered and they were all dried and hard. Other than that- great food/service/drinks!
Nicole is the best waitress we’ve ever had!!! So funny, personable, and attentive. I brought some friends and they praised her as well. The fried green tomatoes are amazing!
I went out with a couple coworkers for our monthly dinner date. I enjoyed my night here. The ambiance was superb. The wall of cork tops on the wall was a cute touch. The chairs were a bit low for the table but the service was good. Def grab their cheese cakes with their parmesean spread(I took a couple home😂). P
My group and I happen to be looking for a lunch spot in Pittsford, and I truthfully believe that we chose one of the best restaurants in the area. The food was very delicious and great. I ordered the BLFGT sandwich and every thing was spot on. That is a Bacon, lettuce, fried green tomato sandwich. The bacon was perfectly cooked and crispy and flavorful. The fried green tomato was amazing as well. The sandwich came with french fries on the side which were also very good, just slightly undercooked and under seasoned for my liking. My only complaint was that the bread happened to be unevenly toasted on one side, making my review for this restaurant & bar a 4.8/5.
There were some incredible things about this restaurant and also some really disappointing things about this restaurant, but I feel like four is the right place to land. Our server was very difficult to follow, which made ordering pretty confusing, and the bread platter we ordered came out with stale bread, so that was a pretty rough start. Our second appetizer was a bee sting Margarita bread and it was absolutely incredible. Salmon dinner was very good but the burger dinner was a little bit dry and underwhelming. The environment and decor is beautiful and the chairs are extremely comfortable to sit in so it’s a great environment to relax. Great but limited selection of local beers on tap.
Went for Valentine’s Day. They had run out of ribeye and steak. Server was nice. Guy sitting next to smelled like weed. Food was very average.
Our "lunch" took 1 hour 50 minutes total - with a reservation. Service was lackluster (they didn't get busy until about 30 after we arrived (11:45). 3 of our 7 orders weren't correct and the meals arrived 1-2 at a time over a 10 minute span. Some of the meals/sides came out room temp (french fries, etc.). Overall a let down and can't see myself returning when there are so many great offerings in and around Rochester. Another detractor is the Pittsford traffic congestion.
Celiac's beware!!!! I ordered grilled chicken, told the waitress about my GF sensitivity she convinced me to buy the GF bun which was disgusting and then they brought me out fried chicken made with flour on the gluten free bun. I caught the error before I ate it thankfully. The waitress didn't even seem very concerned about it. The restaurant didn't offer any apologies not even a free soda, dessert or fries. As for decor, it was beautifully decorated in a quaint little shopping village. Great location!
We rarely get out for dinner so we decided the hour drive was worth it to try Label. We made reservations for 5:45 and when we arrived there was only 2 other small tables seated. Our server was kind but took our drink order and quickly rushed away before we could also order an app. Then she disappeared for awhile. Other tables started filling up & were ordering & getting food while we still had menus sitting on our table. We happened to notice the host looking at us and then walked through the little doorway and came back out with our server who finally came directly to us and took our order. For apps we did the cheddar biscuits and lemon garlic hummus. The biscuits were very dry and actually cold inside. The pita for the humus was burned on the underside. My meal was the buffalo chicken flatbread which was also badly burned on the bottom. My husband ordered a burger and wanted it medium rare but it was well done. It looked extremely dry. The atmosphere was really nice, but the food left us very disappointed.
We chose this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. The interior is very nice, and it’s clear they attract a good crowd, especially during happy hour. Unfortunately, our dining experience was very disappointing. My husband ordered the hot turkey sandwich, which was extremely salty. My chicken salad consisted of only a small handful of mesclun greens and two tomatoes, and the chicken was severely overcooked. The chicken and waffles suffered from the same issue—the chicken was so overcooked it was tough to chew. To make matters worse, as our waitress was clearing the table, she dropped the salad dressing, which spilled all over my coat and boots. Accidents do happen, but combined with the poor quality of the food, it made for an overall terrible experience. We will not be returning.
I went there this evening (a Tuesday night) with a friend and will not be returning. Honestly, while I was impressed by the freshness/size of the Mezze salad that I ordered, there are too many excellent restaurants in Pittsford to waste your time at one where your presence seems to annoy the staff. I’m happy to elaborate if the owner wants specifics, but don’t waste your effort on a restaurant where you seem to annoy the host and waitresses for existing.
I was here last night. This was thoroughly disappointing. I was considering a 2 star rating because the service was okay and they were nice, but the food makes the restaurant. The artichoke dip was way too chunky. Wasn't much of a "dip". But the bread it comes with was awful and greasy. Just the bread was enough to make me feel sick. I tried to put that behind me and enjoy the meal. The mashed potatoes were too garlicy and way too rich. It was too much to handle for me and I could barely eat it. It didn't even taste like mashed potatoes. We were told the kids mac n cheese was quite plain. My kids didn't eat it. The server didn't tell us it had a blue cheese based sauce. That is hardly "plain". But the worst of it was probably the carbonara, which was awful. It was like eating a brick of blue cheese. It was way too rich and the taste was over powering. This is coming from someone that loves blue cheese. This was truly disappointing and put an awful end to my night. I can never return or recommend this place.
