Came here to celebrate my birthday - it couldn’t have been better. Not only did Antonio exceed expectations, but having the owner consistently check in and be unbelievably kind was the icing on the cake. This was such a treat, we will be back again with friends and family! 👏🏻

Lina was amazing and her personality was out of this world all of the menus were described well and she was so patient with us with any questions we had ❤️❤️ the food was delicious and the atmosphere was 10/10. we felt so at home. We will be coming here over and over again. Love the place. Indoors and patio both there was a fountain that was beautiful. We sat outside and loved everything. Would recommend anybody in the area to come here.
We chose Mignon for a very special family event recently and were so impressed with our experience here! The food, service, and ambience were second to none. We have dined at fine restaurants all over Dallas and I think Mignon has the most quality food of any of them. I think the service is even more impressive - from the personal touch from the owner Nick to the fine service from Lena, we were very impressed. Our party had the Wagyu steak, as well as several fish dishes- Halibut, Sea Bass, and a variety of appetizers and escargot and all were fresh and excellent. The crab cake was the best we have ever had-. We were discussing how good the food was and then the desserts arrived and were even more impressed. Our favs were probably the key lime pie, and Mignon special Crème Broulee with white chocolate and cinnamon! We have been to plenty of restaurants in this category and actually paid more but Mignon was absolutely perfect !
Traveling from Charlotte to Dallas to see our two oldest kids, we were spending our anniversary in texas. When I decided to look up the best French restaurant with the best foie gras, Mignon was number one. Not only did it not disappoint, it exceeded expectations because of the service, the ambience, and the owner actually taking time to speak with us. My 8 oz filet was exceptionally done, the perfect temperature and the sauce was amazing. We enjoyed it so much, we got our daughter and her wife a $300 gift card to enjoy a meal here before she goes on deployment with a US Navy for one year. Anytime you are in the Dallas area, Mignon will not let you down.
Beautiful cool day, perfect for sitting outside with the garage door up looking over the pond, however ducks were nowhere to be found. Fried Brussel sprout was excellent, so was the crab cake. We had Chilian sea bass and halibut, both were excellent. Service was implacable, not on top of us but every need was taken care of.
From the moment we walked in, the host and staff were very welcoming! The customer service here is excellent, and our food was perfect! I ordered the steak frites, and it was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend ordered the beef wellington, and he said it was the best he ever had! Our waitress, Lina, was super attentive and quite knowledgeable about the menu and specials. She was super kind and had a bright attitude! We look forward to coming back here soon!
My husband and I happened to stumble upon Mignon tonight, and we are so incredibly glad we did. It was a delightful dining experience on our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, the ambience was truly lovely, setting a perfect, sophisticated tone for the evening. However, what truly elevated our visit was the incredible customer service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel completely taken care of. Shout out to Lena! And then the food—it was top-notch. Every dish we ordered was simply delicious. We started with the calamari and the fresh, house-made bread, both of which were fantastic appetizers. For the main courses, we indulged in the Beef Wellington and the 14oz bone-in filet, and both were cooked to perfection. The quality of the meat was outstanding. Mignon delivers on all fronts: atmosphere, service, and flavor. We highly recommend seeking it out!
Absolutely phenomenal experience at Mignon! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was elegant yet inviting. The staff went above and beyond — attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food. Every dish was perfection, beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. The steak was cooked exactly to order, and the sides and sauces complemented it perfectly. The wine selection was impressive, and the dessert was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. You can tell every detail at Mignon is thoughtfully curated — from the presentation to the service. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
EXCELLENT PLACE, all was Delicious, the only plate I did not like was the “BEEF WELLINGTON” the CRUST WAS NOT THERE, and the BREADED PART WAS SUPER THIN, I have had AMAZING WELLINGTONS IN MANY DIFFERENT PLACES, & it’s the Reason why we went to Mignon!!! But we had a great experience

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The owner is visibly enthusiastic about every customer and incredibly kind. The numerous food options are delicious. You can’t order something you won’t like. The impressive and diverse wine list displays options from around the world. The servers are personable and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for an unforgettable dinner.

We had the best brunch here this morning. I ordered the steak and egg benedict and my partner got the chicken and waffles. Both were exceptionally high quality and freaking fantastic. It was hard to choose as the brunch menu alone had a lot of great looking options to choose from. Derick was our server and I would come back just to see him again. He was friendly, knowledgeable , knows the menu, and could answer my many questions. We will absolutely be back for dinner. I certainly recommend coming here for brunch as the vibes were calm, peaceful, relaxing, and just what we needed in a Sunday morning.
It was the best place we could have selected to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was excellent, and the service Lina provided was unmatched. She made us feel special! It’s pricey, but it's worth the money. We absolutely recommend it for romantic occasions. 🥰
The Mignon experience was delightful. From the service, the expertly perceived photo of us, to the tasty seasonal appetizer - the Watermelon 🍉 Flank, the entrees - Chilean Sea Bass and the “Prime Filet Deaux” - all delicious food 🤤, AND the service was excellent. Lina and Desi really know the food and drink menu - ask for them.
My parents and I came to celebrate my birthday and had a great time. The service was great, Gary was the best! Everything we ate was delicious and flavorful. The sea bass was out of this world and the watermelon salad was so refreshing. Will definitely be back again
Ate at Mignon’s for the first time tonight. It was outstanding! My husband got all the chef’s specials while I got the sea bass. It was so fresh and delicious. Our server Elizabeth was top notch. Great atmosphere, very chill with soft jazz music in the background. Perfect place for a date night or to celebrate birthdays or anniversary. Highly recommend you give them a try.
I had the most Amazing meal this evening… after 2 days of intense course study for a Licensing Exam I treated myself to this Wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere and service are impeccable and the food was beyond fantastic. The staff were very attentive to a Single patron and made my evening special. Thank you Wendy
AMAZING, as always! If you want that “impressive” meal out that leaves everyone happy, (and the recommendation that makes you the coolest foodie in your group) this is the place. Tonight we went to Mignon, our favorite “fine dining” restaurant for our 23rd wedding anniversary, and it was just as fantastic as always. Low lighting, impeccable service, extensive wine, whiskey, bourbon, and cocktail menu, all give this your first sense of “special”. There is a fantastic brunch on Sundays, too. (The food costs vary by item, from $20 to $100.)
Lina’s service made the meal special. Wonderful shrimp! The steak was excellent also. Our cocktails were top notch and the soups and salads were each seasoned perfectly. We did have dessert and it was so nice to not be rushed on a holiday (Father’s Day). Price was as expected considering the service and food quality. A little over $300 including tip for a table of three. We will be back soon!
I came here with my boyfriend for our anniversary and it was delicious! We sat outside and it was perfect! I got the chicken fried steak and it was so flavorful! My boyfriend got the beef Wellington and it was delicious! Our server Nicholas was also awesome!
We celebrated Valentine’s Day this year at Mignon in Plano.For dinner, I ordered the Chilean sea bass, and my wife chose the filet mignon. The sea bass was beautifully cooked tender, flaky, and buttery with a delicate flavor that really stood out. It was plated nicely and felt like a true fine-dining entrée. My wife’s filet mignon was also cooked to the perfect temperature, with a great sear on the outside and juicy, flavorful meat inside. You can tell they know how to handle quality cuts of beef. That said, I personally wasn’t a fan of the fixed Valentine’s Day set menu. While I understand why restaurants do it for special occasions, it felt a bit limiting compared to what I imagine their regular menu offers. Part of what we enjoy about dining out is choosing exactly what we’re in the mood for, and the preset structure took away some of that flexibility. It made the experience feel slightly more rushed and less personalized than we’d prefer for a romantic night out. Overall, Mignon delivered on food quality and ambiance, especially with standout entrées like the sea bass and filet. However, if we return it’ll likely be on a regular evening when we can explore the full menu and enjoy a more customized dining experience.
Came here on a Wednesday around 5:30 PM - no reservation needed. This place is great for a date night. Outdoor patio has a great view of a pond, better when the weather is cooler. We ordered the bacon wrapped quail to start. So tender and delicious. Would def order it again. I ordered the shrimp risotto with truffle oil and pancetta. It was pretty good. I didn’t taste any truffle though and I wish their pancetta pieces were cut a little more generously. The waiter did a great of topping off our waters throughout our meal and he was super nice. Overall, the food was pretty good, but a tad salty. I would come back for the ambience.
