Avis sur Sushiitto Playa del Carmen
The sushi was delicious, and the service was great, the waiters were very patient and kind and even the edamame was delicious and the place was very clean.
One of the best food stops I had while in Playa del Carmen! Amazing service and there is choice of sitting outside and taking in the atmosphere or being seated inside. If you are not one for smokers, sitting outside is not for you. The drinks were great! We came for the sushi and got amazing service! Make sure to try the plantains, they're amazing!
A great place to eat in downtown Playa. Right next to Starbucks and a couple other restaurant/bars - the outdoor seating area is very relaxed and comfortable. Food was delicious, service was impecable... my only complaint is that they served my red wine chilled. I know that is rather common here but I prefer it room temperature. Overall, a great dining experience - I would definitely come back! Prices are on the expensive side but everything in this part of town is. You pay for location and ambiance in addition to the food and service I suppose...
Good sushi size & taste. Good price. There are not enough fish in sushi, a little bit more will be better. Good service. It was clean.
Stopped by this sushi spot for a quick bite while shopping. We seated ourselves at a booth since no one welcomed us and it wasn’t too busy, with only 1-2 other tables occupied. Food was decent, not bad for sushi in Mexico, although we only grabbed some small bites. The gyoza wasn’t the usual style but still tasted good. It took a few minutes for someone to come over, and we were first given a Spanish menu, but the server quickly brought us an English one. They had music videos playing on a TV inside, overall chill vibe. Food took a bit of time, but the service was fine overall.
Popped in for a quick lunch. Great service here! Ordered the spicy tuna bowl and was able to swap out the tuna for salmon (not a fan of tuna). They also put the spicy mayo on the side for me. The dish was nice, salmon was decent too! They put black sesames on it which was a great touch. Ordered the iced green tea without sweetener and that was great. A little on the pricier side but I’ll probably be back again.
We used to come there at least once a week, as the sushi there is good, and we love sushi. Last time though we decided to eat it by the beach, so took it out, instead of dining in. The sushi pieces were much much smaller, looked incomplete, badly done :-( And it was our regular rolls that had many times before, hence we could notice the difference… I would advice the restaurant to keep their standard, especially that we left a tip, and we didn’t have to, as it was take out.
The food was totally subpar. Probably the worst Ramen I’ve ever had. The tempura Ramen my husband had tasted like old oil. We had a wait wait wait finally just got up and asked for the bill so we could leave.
The service was terrible, the manager by the name of Agustin Clan was very rude, and the atmosphere was too cold and uncomfortable. The food took too long, and was not even worth it. Would not recommend at all. They won’t even give water.the only nice one was the bald guy, he might be the manager
This score is not for the quality of the food but for the service. We ordered food for take out, at the time to pay, the waitress visibly wanted us to tip, which we didn't (who tips for take out??). Since that moment, she showed an angry face. When we ordered we specifically asked for ginger and wasabi. And when we came back to pick up the food we once again asked if she had put the wasabi and the ginger, which she answered to with a yes. Time to eat, guess what is obviously missing from our bag??? Ma'am if you need a tip to do the minimum that you are required to do, you are doing the wrong job. 21st may 2025 - 9 pm
We got scombroid poisoning from here , and had to go to the hospital. We ate nothing else that day , and have no allergies. Swollen lips, hives all over the body .. etc ruined 2 days of our trip. scombroid is when fish is stored improperly and builds up histamines , which causes the appearance of a bad allergic reaction, it’s a new form of food poisoning i didn’t know about , wonderful. If you’re going to eat here maybe avoid fish that can cause this, of which Tuna is one , and what we had ordered .
