This place has changed a lot since it was Tully's, but it's very nice and clean. The interior is quite pretty and the bathrooms have improved. They took out the pretty slate floor :( Coffee is classic Pete's.

Live this place. Lots of space inside and out. Folks are friendly. Had to wait 30 min. for system reboot.

Pretty laid-back place on Sunday. People were hanging out inside and outside, looked like some people were working. My favorite. Favorite there is always a latte with regular milk. Nice staff, latte was just right. Incidentally, the Inside is air-conditioned because Pleasanton can get very warm

We noticed that whenever there’s a farmers market, the service becomes quite disorganized. The staff are very friendly, but there doesn’t seem to be a clear system. Several groups who ordered after us received their drinks before we did, which was frustrating.

cappuccino s are great until Baristas changed. Now I am sticking to drip coffee. No more cappuccino for me unless i see my favorite baristas.

This is my go to Peets… For some reason, my last 2 visits here they forgot to my make my order, and didnt realize until I came up and told them. 1st time I thought it was just a one off, 2nd time tells me theres probably negligence going on.

Coffee is great, HOWEVER: This place has gone downhill dramatically since they hired this guy named Ray. He is more interested in chatting with other employees than serving customers. 5 times now he has been chatting and forgot about getting my coffee. I have to ask every time, as my cup just sits on the counter. I get the occasional forgetfulness, but this guy is so consistently bad it is driving this site's reputation down. I am taking my business to Starbucks down the street. Message to Ray: DON'T FORGET YOUR CUSTOMERS!

On saturdays this location is hour+ wait consistently. Meanwhile coffee shop down the road has twice as many people and sub-5 min wait. Needs more staff in weekends I’m assuming

The worst Service and worst tasting drinks. It’s so sad that this Peet’s located in a prime downtown location of pleasanton has the worst service and somehow the baristas don’t know how to make coffee here and don’t care about if the customer is satisfied with the order. They told me Peet’s has discontinued the cocoa powder and we do not carry it anymore where in reality every other Peet’s I have been to and literally I have been to pretty much all the Peet’s locations across the bay area. I thought Peet’s at least was a little better quality than the junky Starbucks quality but I guess it’s getting all about Profits for them too. With every cup of coffee becoming so expensive. They discontinued my favorite drink too the dark chocolate mocha . I don’t know why the sugary unhealthy stuff is becoming the norm. Never coming to this location again and may be time to find some quality cafe which so lack in this area.

I’ve been a regular here, but sadly they’ve lost me as a customer—probably along with many others if you look at recent reviews. They’ve forgotten my drinks several times, and this latest visit pushed me over the edge. I waited 30 minutes for a brewed coffee—something that should’ve taken seconds—while watching the cashier wander around, forgetting orders left and right. When I finally reminded them, I was handed a cup that was only 2/3 full, even though I had already made it clear (multiple times!) that I did not want room for cream. No apology, no accountability—just incompetence. It’s unacceptable service. If management cares at all, they should rethink the entire staff here. Customers deserve basic competence, not repeated mistakes and indifference.

The manager yesterday Saturday Aug 23rd 2025 around noon time I forgot to check his name is very loud and somewhat rude when I ordered my coffee I feel that I am being belittled because of the way he approached his customer he need to be nice and not too loud when he trying to change my milk he is being rude and mean. I don’t like his attitude and this is Something that need to be brought to the attention of the management or even to the owner of this coffee shop. This is my Havana cappuccino First time there and I always order the same Latte but he makes me feel very uncomfortable because of his attitude. Be nice always to ur customer, the lady who took my order is very nice but that manager u need to change ur manner.

This is such a great location for coffee but is marred by issues that can be resolved. I hope someone sees this and takes action. Avoid this place on Fri - Sun like the plague. The baristas are different on other days and these have no grace whatsoever. They seem to be always struggling with the orders. I hope these people are retrained. Other thing that I guess cannot be avoided is that there is this really loud and obnoxious group of cyclists that shows up here every single day and just spoil the atmosphere inside. Even with earbuds I can here them talk. One cannot work from this place at all.
