Avis sur Thai Spice Poughkeepsie
Even after years of business this place is still amazing. The Chicken Pad Thai and the Chicken satay is our favorite. The peanut sauce for the satay is the best. Our go to for takeout. Great food and large portions
Food is always very delicious! I am a huge curry fan and theirs never disappoints! The portions are very large so expect to share or have lots of leftovers!
Excellent food and service. It has a small step outside the front door and I did not see another entrance with easier wheelchair access but the restaurant itself is very nice. You can eat there or order food to go and the food is fantastic.
Tasty, just wish I knew tomatoes where in the Pineapple rice. Lucky enough they were large chunks and not cooked in long enough. But an amazing meal and very accommodating!
Fresh EVERYTHING. Going to take a minute for your food because it's fresh. Hot and good. Spicy.. A little skimpy on the shrimp for a appetizer. Other then that I enjoyed everything..
A good choice for local Asian fare. It was tasty. The portions are generous and price are very reasonable!
Never tried thai food and had beef fried rice and it tasted better than chinese version. My date ordered pineapple fried which was also delicious Will return again
I visited this place second time and same experience as I had first time, very nice food. I ordered Tofu Satay and veggies duckkrapow(very good option for vegetarians) and it was awesome.
The staff was very pleasant. Service was good. Food tasted fresh and delicious. Menu was quite b.c aries with many choices. Would definitely go ther ed again.
My favorite Thai resturant in the state outside of NYC. Great crispy duck curry, and love the Thai iced coffee. Good lunch deals too.
My son and I each got a Thai iced tea from here. Just a quick in and out the door. $3 each and very tasty!
Really great Thai restaurant. The tom kha was particularly delightful though everything was delicious. Will definitely eat here again (and again)!
The pad thai was excellent and the curry was also extremely tasty! The servers were very polite.
Very good Thai food. Interesting specials. pineapple Fried rice is really special, served in a pineapple! Food is delicious.
One of my favorite local places to eat! It's very cozy and the food is wonderful! So I recommend this place highly!
I've eaten here multiple times now and their food is consistently of high quality. Whether I take out or dine in, I'm treated well and I always enjoy the food. I'm not a Thai food pro but it's some of the best I've had and will continue going here.
I wanted to try something new. I ordered their pineapple rice. It is amazing. Ive had it twice in one week. Their desserts (mango sticky rice and coconut pudding) are also delicious. Will definitely be ordering again
I've come to this restaurant multiple times now on dates with my lady. We both really enjoy the food and wide selections they have for dinner. I generally get anything spicy to test my pallet. The decor is great for a date night with the white lights and covered benched seating on the far left wall. Service is always on point and never fails, regardless as to how busy they are. I highly recommend dining here if you love Thai or Asian cuisine in general.
Love this place. Always quick with preparing orders. My favorite is combination fried rice (preferably with light sauce and spicy). I would highly recommend that dish. It's delicious. Portion size is also huge and it's worth the price you pay for.
I ordered through DoorDash, and it was my time eating from the restaurant, and the Basil Fried Rice I had the first without any spice was good, but when I ordered again with the spice it was amazing with Pork :) I was absolutely happy I choose that restaurant and I’ll definitely be ordering again. Or maybe eating in the restaurant in the future with my family.
A bit on the expensive side, but the food is excellent, interesting and introduces a whole new range of flavors to those who are not quite familiar with Thai food (*cough* *cough* me). The dining area is cozy and actually has a romantic air to it if you are looking for an interesting place for a date night.
Delicious food!!!! They are wonderful about any dietary restrictions, although they will charge you extra for some meat substitutions, which gets a tad annoying, especially since. Fantastic portion sizes, I always go home with left overs.
Amazing food! Kang kee mao(like drunken noodles), Thai spice chicken, basil fried rice, curry puffs all amazing! Huge portions. Service is sometimes a little slow (they're usually busy esp on weekends) but the food is the best Thai food I've ever had. Clean restaurant
The server was very attentive throughout the meal & exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu. The food was very flavorful & fresh. This is an ideal place if you are craving something other than traditional American cuisine.
Excellent location for getting Thai food. The food has so much flavor and is very delicious. The staff is always friendly and work hard to ensure they keep up with how busy the restaurant can get. It's a very clean environment and located close to Vassar College.
Only ever ordered delivery, but consistently good and well packaged. Flavorful and lots of protein and veg in the dishes. No complaints. My preferred Thai restaurant in the area!
It was a wonderful experience! My partner and I loved the drunken noodles and Pad Woon Sen and it was just what we needed to finish the day. The mimosa special was also a nice bonus at the end!
Ordered and picked up. Pineapple fried rice and chicken, Thai chicken with seasame seeds with sticky rice, very good. Mango sticky rice, delicious! Well definitely be back 😊
We visit either on a regular basis or months in between due to our schedules and have always had an excellent experience. The staff always know my drink despite it being months in between, they remember our go to meals. That’s impressive. The dining area is always clean, food is fresh and tasty but what is truly amazing is how one or two front staff manage to get food/drink to tables quickly while maintaining the crazy amount of to go pickups at the door. I highly recommend this restaurant!
First time trying and I really liked the food! I ordered Pad See Yue with chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly, not dry or chewy. My boyfriend ordered pineapple fried rice with shrimp and they gave a lot of shrimp! The rice wasn't greasy at all. The menu overall is very well priced and the restaurant has a cozy interior. I'm glad we gave it a try; I'd be happy to go back.
I decided to try the Pork Pad Woon Sen, since I had never had that before. I enjoyed the chewy glass noodles, the savory sauce, and the meat on it very much. They definitely have big portion sizes, so it might be a good idea to share everything with friends if you are not coming alone. I also tried my friend's Pad Thai which was absolutely delicious as well. The employees were very understanding and they let us stay there for a long while, even after our food was done. Impeccable atmosphere.
Sometimes good sometimes inconsistent food
1st time ordering from Thai Spice. We ordered Pad Woon Sen and Pineapple Fried Rice. The flavors were great - we really enjoyed!
The food was great, I love grilled tofu, so jucy), never had this before and pad mango was delicious, but don't expect your server to be attentive, she didn't ask if we want something else, desert or such, or how do we like our meal, and didn't clear a table while we were paying a bill.
It's one of the few nice thai places in the town . It has some parking available on the streets . Staff is nice . Ambiance is average . I would recommend trying basil fried rice
The food was excellent. Service was good too. Oddley, the wait staff never smiled, and seemed like they didn't want to be there (but they were still attentive).
Great food. Have dined here many times and never disappointed. Wish they made the food a little more spicy
The massuman curry, chicken fried rice, and flat noodles are excellent. Green Curry is also quite good. the service is quick, but not friendly, which I don't mind. Its the best Thai food I have had in the Hudson Valley. The lunch portions are small, so always go for the regular menu. I have eaten here twice. Seems popular with the college crowd. I have been to Thailand, their Tom Yum soup is authentic for sure.
So I decided to stop and try Thai food for the first time and I will say, entering I was a little bit iffy, but after entering through the door, the greeter was welcoming, "the tone of the place is relaxing." Good dinner setting you can stop for lunch too, I went for dinner 😉👍. The Food was new to me but okay and the soup was good. Overall I think anyone would enjoy something there, especially from there flexible menu choices. Take the time to eat with family or friends, everyone enters with a easy handicap ramp leading in. Overall I liked it and you may also.😎 Hope you enjoy your visit.💕
Don't go by theblooks of the outside. The restaurant is quaint. Food was delicious. Wait staff friendly and helpful. Prices are comparable to other thai places. Food was great. I had the crispy duck salad. The kids had the thai chicken special and glass noodles dish. Appetizers were great.
Love the food here. Service is a little slow, though. It can get crowded. Sometimes the AC is too high. The food is excellent, however, definitely tends toward the spicy side, so be careful if you're not a fan of that when deciding the spiciness level you want.
The food is excellent. Although very tasty my wife and I could not finish our plates . Definitely , we will return there often. We never tasted such a well-prepared tofu. Thanks
The food was amazing! We were a party of 6 & everyone raved about their dishes & tasted each others From rice to duck to fish it was all great. The drawback here is the restaurant is dark & dreary & also needs to be dusted!!
Great staff. Pretty decor but a little chilly. The lunch deal is amazing. I love the green curry and my kids love the soup.
My duck salad was delicious, healthful, & seemed to have endless duck! I'd forgotten that Thai dishes are served family-style, so one dish plus one soup/appetizer is great to share at a table with someone, or you can get two meals for the price of one if you order alone. I also disagree with some other reviewers; I thought the service was just fine!
Great vibe and really delicious food! They had a lot of menu options, including a full drinks menu. Their portion sizes are very generous and the tom yum soup, green curry and pad Thai we're delicious. I took off one star because the pad Thai was very fishy tasting but my husband still loved the flavors.
Good food and big portions! I ordered takeout and I still got some nice shredded carrots and two delicious sauces with my appetizer. Packaged nicely with plenty of leftovers for tomorrow and they also followed the special instructions to add more chicken and hold the shrimp. Will be back.
Uber eats delivery. Everything delicious! Tried something different Kang Keow Wan Community & Thai Dumplings. Loved it. Dumpling appetizers really good. Enjoyed with Spaghetti style slices carrot and dipping sauce. Main meal wonderful. Great flavor steaming hot. Spicy so careful if not your thing. Everything comes together, so good! Added Jasmine rice, perfection Couldn't wait leftovers today.. Highly Recommend. Also recommend trying something new. Believe will be pleasantly surprised whatever order won't be disappointed. I look forward trying Lots different dishes never had before.
Decent Thai food overall. I ordered the chicken pad Thai, beef pad Khing, and mango sticky rice. The pad Thai was very good, but the pad Khing did not have the best flavor. The mango sticky rice was decent but a bit too sweet, and the mango wasn’t ripe enough, making it slightly chewy. However, I’ve had other dishes from this restaurant at catered events at Vassar, and those were all delicious. I don’t remember all the dishes, but the chicken satay and Thai spring rolls were very good. I think this restaurant has some great options, and I’ll definitely return to try more. UPDATE: I recently tried the veggie duck pineapple curry. It was not the best dish I have had, the curry broth was very watery and lacked flavor
Great food at fair rates. Comfortable cushioned booths with wooden overheads like a lower bunk bed. Pretty décor displaying Thai scenery. Waitstaff curt but competent. Bathroom clean, free wi-fi and there is a coat rack. Three bottled Thai beers. Parking streetside is your best bet since the lot behind the restaurant is very narrow and greasy.
We ordered the Thai Salad, Summer Rolls and Shrimp Pad Thai. The peanut sauce on the salad was delish. The summer rolls were mostly lettuce. I would’ve loved more scallion or glass noodles or bean sprouts. They were good though. The Pad Thai was yummy as well. My only complaint was the 0.35 cent charge for more than 1 soy sauce. For $35 worth of food, 2 extra soy sauce should be complimentary.
I thought this place had everything you might want from a thai place, except flavor. Nice service, atmosphere, fair prices, decent portions. I got pad thai and my wife got chefs special (seafood) and they tasted similar, no real spices. Not sure the seafood was fresh. Compared to the thai places I eat at in northern virginia and michigan, it's not even close. Sorry.
I had pad thai with tofu. It was ok. The sauce on it was not my favorite. The employees were kind and I liked the ambiance.
Kind of bland. Tom kha soup was watery. Bai kra pow had little basil in it. At least they had nam plaa prik and decent Thai iced coffee.
Ordered the massaman curry and Pad see yue. Curry was okay at best but the pad see yue was VERY bland and the noodles were overcooked. On the plus side the serving size was decent and the food came hot.
Nice decor, decent service, food could us a bit more seasoning at times but the flavor profiles were good. Large portions and quite inexpensive. Not the worst Thai restaurant
We have visited Thai Spice multiple times since we moved to Poughkeepsie. The food ha always been tasty but left a little to be desired. Turns out, they freeze everything! We had parked behind the restaurant one evening and upon returning to our car we saw the cook taking prepackaged frozen food out of the freezer by the back door. We instantly realized what was left to be desired... the freshness. On another note - make sure you have time to spend there. The staff, at times, will treat you as if you are interrupting their real job responsibilities. All and all I'd go back for take out but only if I can't make it to another Thai restaurant.
Not a bad place to stop by but keeping a few things in mind: the soups n apps were yummy, my hubby's duck dish was too chewy that he didn't really enjoy it, shrimp pad thai shrimps weren't cooked enough, veggie dishes were good but nothing special. Again it's not terrible, but nothing to wow either. They have some parking in the back that can get cramped up but it's an option.
My friends and I stopped here the other day for a late lunch and I have given this review a three start because of the experience of my friend's meals. My meal was delicious: I ordered the fried wontons and the vegetable noodle soup. The portions were VERY generous and I wound up taking most of the soup home. My friends however did not have quite the same experience. The spare ribs did not have flavor or good color and they came on a plate of tiny ribs, one inch wide with perhaps one bite of meat. Initially I had a rib 'order to go' for my husband and just looking at my friend's order, I cancelled it and ordered something else. The biggest turn off for my friend was that his entree came in a porcelain bowl that had not one, not two but THREE chips. Thai Spice needs to do better than this if they are to stay in business. For that reason, I would not go back even though my meal was good.
Went in with a friend and ordered chicken pad thai, soup and a appetizer. The pad thai smelled so bad I could not even taste it. Ended up paying a $30 bill and not eating. Never eating thai again, can't forget the fishy, wet dog smell.
Ordered Panang curry, medium spice. Almost devoid of flavor , barely any heat Would not order it again. Ever
Ordered via door dash. Using pepper flakes to spice up food is usually reserved for pizza and other unimaginative applications. Very disappointed in the green curry. The mango sticky rice was disgusting and the Thai ice tea was weak and watered down. If you're looking for an example of decent Thai food this is not your place.
Went twice. First time they made me wait for almost an hour past the pickup time they told me over the phone (almost two hours after I ordered). Second time one of us got food poisoning from the Thai Iced Tea. Do not recommend.
I went to Thai Spice in Poughkeepsie and it fell short of my expectations. While the staff initially greeted me promptly with menus, the service quickly deteriorated. The restaurant's atmosphere was uncomfortably loud with staff having personal phone conversations and inappropriate discussions from nearby patrons being clearly audible. Mind you only 5 people were in the dining area (including the two staff members). The food quality was concerning - the calamari had an off-putting smell that even other customers commented on. I did not even try it based of of the very pungent fishy smell. The Mee Krob was very bland. It seemed as though they just drenched it in sauce. Hygiene issues were observed, including a staff member not washing hands after sneezing at the bar area but continuing her loud Facetime conversation. The facility maintenance needs attention, with duct tape on seats and dirty dishes left uncleared from prior patrons. The warm sake was the only good aspect of the meal. ⭐⭐ (2 out of 5 stars)
I love this place. The inside is a bit dark, but that adds to the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant. The staff is always pleasant and attentive, to the customer. Most importantly the food is tasty and fresh. I would recommend trying the lunch specials, you won't regret it.
Problem with waitress who offered hot and sour soup as a choice (it's adjacent to a Chinese restaurant) and brought tom yeng, a soup I don't like. I called her over and said I couldn't eat it. She defended her offerings, didn't offer a substitute and took it away. My friend rice dish was average as were my friend's. Probably not going again.
If you’re getting take out this is probably a solid move but if you are planning on dining in with family or friends — PASS! I’ve been to this establishment four separate times and would rate Thai Spice a two star establishment (due to the service). I love Thai cuisine and overall the food is decent but the servers and atmosphere are always far below average. Unhappy servers who have mastered making you feel like a burden the moment you walk into the restaurant. Server watched videos on her phone (OUT LOUD) the entire hour I waited and ate dinner. Dateline television on as loud as can be (which as the only person in the restaurant I asked to turn to down - they said no). Very unwelcoming environment. My last and final visit I ordered apps and paid / walked out before even ordering entres. Again, food is solid - atmosphere not so much.
Ehhhhh. We ordered take out from Thai Spice as there are very few Thai options locally and were pretty disappointed. The pad Thai was extremely oily and red in color? I don’t know how to describe the taste but it wasn’t what I think of pad Thai! The Kuay Tiew Kee Mao was a lot better of a noodle dish and quite spicy. The fried rice Puk was quite bland. Appreciated that we could order any option vegetarian (with veg or tofu). Quite large portion sizes as well. Overall we’d probably not order again.
This is not real Thai food. It is some typical Thai food ingredients covered with sauces that are usually found on Chinese food. I think Chan’s Peking next door and Thai Spice share a kitchen. Way too much sweet and salty sauce ruined my dish.
I think they have different owner. They used to have authentic Thai food. But now the dishes taste more like Chinese food, not in a good way.
The food was not good at all. I will never order from this restaurant again and I do not recommend this place if you want good Thai food.
I should not even given this disgusting place one star if I could. I ordered and the order was not what I wanted. When I came back to tell them this is not what I ordered the rude behavior was just disgusting. The female was aurgumentive and down right disgusting. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau. DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!
My elderly father called inquiring about the menu. The receptionist told him to refer to their online website. My father explained that he doesn’t have internet access. The receptionist refused to assist him with the menu and was rude and hung up on him. They have extremely bad customer service. In the past, I overlooked how rude they are because of the food. However, I will no longer be ordering from here anymore! The food is not worth the NASTY customer service!
I can't really understand the good reviews. We eat thai food a lot and i must say this was the worst thai food we have ever had. The only good thing about the order were the spring rolls and they are probably made elsewhere. The food was filled with green peppers and it was clear whoever made it was either a home cook or had no experience in cooking thai food. We were so excited to find a thai spot nearby but sadly this was so terrible i could barely even taste from my dish what i had ordered because it didn't resemble that at all. The service was great and the place looked nice. And the prices seemed low. Sad just to leave a bad review but it was just not good food at all.
This is by far the worse Thai Food that I have ever eaten. My wife and I got take out last night (02/01/23). We live near by so we figured we'd try it out. It was simply awful! We couldn't get past the first two bites. We should have gotten Chinese food from next door.
Ok, When I ask for silverware and my delivery address is a hotel........GIVE ME MY UTENSILS! How am I going to eat fried rice and Pad Thai? Completely ridiculous.
This place used to be good but it is definitely no longer. Got the pad Thai and as other commenters mentioned, has a very odd flavor like something is old and rotten. Took a few bites, paid and left. Was so Gross. Also, the waitress was rude as hell
Ordered here with my friends on Saturday. They arrived really late and the delivery guy was so aggressive toward me. I ordered two noodles, one dumpling and two drinks. However, they gave me the wrong order and they did not even give me my drinks but they still charged me $50. I called the restaurant to tell them about their mistake. The staff there was really rude and disrespectful while talking to me. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO THIS RESTAURANT.
They are extremely rude, disrespectful and her English is incomprehensible. I did not understand her English, she gave me the wrong food and refused to replace it as any good normal business owner would do. Refused!! The restaurant is very dark, stinks, it’s dirty and I very unsanitary. I will NEVER return there and I encourage others to do the same.
Really poor quality. I got thai curry puffs, chciken satay and yellow curryy. The curry puffs were just mush with absolutely no taste. The satay was the best thing they offered while still being very underwhelming, no spice or flavor. Same with the curry, the broth was very runny, no rounding out of spices and had old rotty potatos in it. Very disappointing. Edit : women on the phone were very rude.
The lady who takes the order (I am sure she is the owners wife) is absolutely rude and have no manners. Have zero patience and just cuts you off even before you say what you want. This place is so close to our office work and suits the need of all the coworkers food choice and spice preference so we used large orders (12+ entrees) here quite frequently. We specifically mentioned it's for office and requested utensils and few hot sauce and soy sauce packets on the side for those who want some spice. She gave just one each of hot sauce and soy sauce for the whole order of 12 ENTREES and said we need to pay extra for more hot sauce and utensils while one of the coworker went for picking up. That's absolutely ridiculous. Guess people get greedy. We are never going to this place again for work and for personal.
Horrible Insensitive Service from Waitress. We searched this spot for impromptu dinner to result in only one of our meals delivered to table after we finished our appetizers. The curry puffs we ordered were an awful gummy half-cooked mushy spear shape mess. Not what I’m used to. After seeing other tables being served but my meal (vegetable drunken noodle w no eggs) still hadn’t arrived. I asked for the check for items served, paid it, & left the Massaman Curry dish on table that they did bring. We didn’t order separately so why was only one dish brought out without even an apology. Negative Stars…. Poor Service! Will wait til I’m in city to have Thai. These small town Thai spots put in zero effort to provide quality service and food bc options are non existent.
The food was decent, but the behavior of the two female servers was incredibly disappointing. Their lack of customer etiquette will surely discourage potential patrons from returning. It's suggested that they undergo proper training in hotel hospitality to improve their professionalism and service. As a result of their conduct, at least 3 out of 10 customers are likely to be lost.
Saturday night female server was extremely rude no greeting no goodbye and just awful in between for absolutely no reason. Save your money and get your Thai food somewhere better.
My partner and I tried this place for the first time. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai which is my usual go-to at other restaurants. When the waitress placed the food in front of me I knew something was off. My dish reeked fish and chicken tasted funny. My partner even tried it and said it was as if the chicken was close to being spoiled. I told the waitress and she stated that they use fish sauce which was not indicated on the menu. I asked for veggie dumplings instead and they were tasteless. The only good item was the sangria I ordered. Needless to say I will not be returning.
Horrible Horrible Service!!! Went for lunch with 3 children. The greeter was a very rude lady. She told us that we shouldn’t have walked “all the way in” and should’ve waited for her to greet us. She was nowhere to be found when we entered the restaurant. It was extremely dark and dingy inside. We chose to leave and give our business elsewhere. They should learn proper customer service etiquette!!!!
I ordered 2 pad Thai with shrimp to go. They both had overcooked shrimp so hard it was bad, no sauce. Tasteless. My friends from out of town were not impressed at all and barely ate any of it. It was all noodles and nothing else. No flavor, few shrimp that were overcooked. Will not go back. My mother was looking forward to some pad Thai for her 90th birthday celebration and even she did not like it.
Ordered eggplant with basil with shrimp added. Picked up food item at approximately 9:30 PM. when I got home shrimp was grossly overcooked. I understand that may happen. The restaurant was closed at that time so I called the following morning. I explained shrimp were grossly overcooked. And I was unable to eat the meal. Customer service was very poor. One person spoke to me, then handed me over to someone else who rudely explained that there was nothing they could do that was basically my fault for not eating the food right away. As I mentioned before, I explained to her that immediately when I got home to eat, the shrimp was very overcooked. The restaurant was closed at that time so I had no other choice but to call the following morning There was no offer of adjustment or compensation or just simply in acknowledgment that they apologize for the meal and they were sorry I didn’t enjoy it. That was the most important thing was just acknowledging the situation and my feelings. On the other hand, it was more rude. I was not allowed to speak. I was constantly being interrupted. Needless to say I’m so so unsatisfied and I wish it hadn’t ended that way.
We visited this restaurant today for lunch as a party of five, including a 7-year-old and a 12-year-old, both excited to have Thai food. Unfortunately, our experience with the service was far from pleasant. From the beginning, the lady owner was somewhat rude, especially when our 7-year-old ordered noodle soup alongside another soup. She made faces, but I politely asked her to give him what he wanted to try. Later, she snapped at us for keeping the water glasses near us, out of her reach. The final straw came when we took some time to decide on dessert, specifically the banana wrap. She snapped at us again, prompting us to ask for the check so we could leave. Frustrated, I wrote, "Please take a customer service 101 class at Vassar College." This led to her yelling at me and throwing the bill onto the counter as we left. It's a shame how she treated us, especially since we are both Asians. This upset our kids so much that the 12-year-old wrote a review about her bad experience on TripAdvisor. While we enjoyed the food, her attitude left a bad taste in our mouths, and we will never go back.
We ordered red curry with chicken and green curry with beef. Let me tell you... the curry was watery and lacked flavor. The devil himself could never make food this foul. The chicken looked bland. Veggies were soggy and tasted old. I tried to feed this to my pet pig, and she refused (just kidding but seriously). The diabolical thing is- this is the third time we gave Thai Spice a chance. The first time, the food was just as disgusting. The second time we went in person and the food was great. Perhaps, when you order food online, they water down the ingredients, but if you dine-in, they cook it well..idk. This third time, the food is absolutely disgusting. Red curry is supposed to be RED, not pink. I will not be returning a fourth time and certainly will not recommend this place to anyone.
Been going to this restaurant since 2015 but with the new management this place is the WORST when it comes to service. The staff are so rude. They act like they’re jail guards. The service sucks! It ruined the nice ambience! The food has gone to the dumps also. I was so embarrassed to my guest I took there. if I can only put negative star, I would! I asked to talk to a manager and they said we don’t have one! If they don’t want to serve people they better go to a different kind of business. Thai Spice you suck!
This place is different in many ways. The employee looks unhappy, and she doesn't treat customers in the way that she is supposed to. She made us feel that we were begging for food, not paying for it. In a moment, she was on the phone watching something like a cartoon, it was out loud. Also, the TV was very loud with political news that is not a good combination to eat. The food was ok, I noticed that the restaurant was almost empty (2 tables with customers only), but they had a lot of to-go orders, which made sense after I had this weird welcoming. Is sad to experience this in a place that is supposed to make you have a good experience.
The lady on the phone was really rude. They were also rude when I came in the get my to go order. So even if the food was amazing, they already don’t get 5 stars. This is AWFUL Thai food. My curry was pretty much soup and lacked any flavor. I was in town for work, so I am not lying when I say I’ll never come back. However, even if I lived here, it’d be a hard pass.
