Avis sur Eat and go Queens
My family recommended this diner since they come here often, especially for the French toast and pancakes. This was my first time visiting, and I was honestly impressed. This time, they decided to switch it up, and our server Michael gave us great recommendations. He was extremely attentive and made sure we didn’t need anything throughout our visit. He also suggested the hot chocolate since I was still cold from the weather, and it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Steak and Eggs (Southwest) Benedict, which was very tasty and filling. The portions are generous, and they have an amazing brunch promotion: any brunch dish comes with either coffee, a mimosa, or a bellini, plus a fruit side. Delicious food, friendly staff, and great service. This is definitely going on my go-to list for brunch and I’m definitely trying the pancakes next time!
Great for comfort eats and the portions are huge. Any of their breakfast dishes that has fig jam is delicious and a genius recipe creation. Generally their item flavor mixes are creative and delicious. They also make one of the best motza ball soups in Queens, that hearty, flavorful and fresh. Even great for leftovers.
Good Eats Diner has the BEST baklava pancakes — fluffy, sweet, and perfectly crunchy. Paired with a hot cup of coffee, it was absolutely delicious. And the service was great — Michael took excellent care of us. Highly recommend!
Very welcoming and the food is great with big portions. Thank you so much Michael
Hands down the best onion rings I ever had. We had an excellent breakfast but I also ordered Mozzarella Sticks and Parmesan Garlic Fries that were so fresh, homemade and delicious. Just found the drinks to be pricey. Will be back.
The owner was very nice. My order was scrambled eggs and avocado. He took my order and I got it quickly. Thank you. J. Atkins
A diner like diners used to be, but with a modern and stylish twist. Impeccable service, huge portions. Nothing like a greasy spoon--a New York diner to be proud of!
I LOVE this place. Whenever I visit Queens I always go here. They have TONS of options and everything I've ever tried here was excellent. I'm a big eater and I can not finish what I get. Their servings are huge. I suggest in most cases you can share a dish and lace satisfied. My favorites here are the pastrami burger, their chicken & waffles and their soups are great!
Not a freezer to microwave type Diner in any way. We had quality ingredients and preparations of generous portions... and a wide selection items. I always thought the standard was a Philadelphia cheesesteak, but it turns out the New Haven cheesesteak they make is the best cheesesteak I've ever had (has three over easy eggs atop lean, soft, juicy roast beef Plus a touch of heat from I'm assuming habanero). And that's after working in Philadelphia for years. Everything we tried was great. Nice clean, bright atmosphere as well.
Good eats, the only place where I can eat good and not eat the whole thing. The fact this place warms their syrup always puts them as one of the best “bring your dates and your side pieces” places to ever come. Bring ya chick for breakfast; and your mistress for lunch; then that ole lady boss of yours for dinner. I promise you won’t regret the good food here.
Good Eats Diner truly lives up to its name. I had the fried chicken entrée with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach on the side, plus a starter of chicken orzo soup. Everything hit the mark. The fried chicken was perfectly done with a light, crispy batter that wasn't too thick (a personal pet peeve of mine). The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth, and the spinach was sautéed just right with olive oil and garlic. Simple, flavorful, and delicious; just the way I love my food. The chicken orzo soup was a comforting and tasty way to start the meal. My lunch companion had the lemonade, which came in a classic malt cup and it looked freshly squeezed. It was a refreshing touch, because it is rare to see an establishment serve freshly squeezed lemonade. The ambiance is casual, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. A great spot for classic comfort food done right.
Great Place, Came on Father's Day and was surprised that it had a long wait, so I got it to go. Due to circumstances, the food was warmed up twice before I got to sit and eat it.. I must say, it tasted so good, I told her I was going back to get this fresh. So today I went and celebrated a special morning breakfast with someone amazing and I must say, it was not disappointing. The Waffle was amazing. It has flavor and crispy with a soft center. The menu has a lot of different choices and I will definitely be back to try them all. Wonder how to get my own both....
I’ve come here about once a month and I love it every time! The food is so good and priced well too for the huge portions! I recommend going with friends but good to go alone too if you want to have left overs for the next day. The staff is friendly and attentive and did I mention how much I love the food? The stuffed French toast is always my go to.
This place was fantastic. They were able to accommodate my family and I after my mother passed away and we went out for brunch. There was about 13 of us and they made it work. The food was delicious, service was good, street parking was decent. There are no complaints here. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite to eat if you ask me!
Absolutely worth going. Went in for brunch with my run siblings after a long run. Super hungry & the amount that brunch came was super big. Some of my teammates had to pack the rest for home. Every penny worth & food was delish. The server was very friendly & nice. It has outdoor seating as well as indoor. I would definitely go again.
Servings are always filling and tasty. A definite favorable experience anytime of day. A small place with huge offering that will have you returning with others to share your joy.
I was early to a funeral, so I had some time to kill. I found Good Eats on line and gave it a shot. I ordered the basic breakfast. Two eggs with bacon and home fries. The food came out in a reasonable time. It's hard to mess up a simple dish. I am glad to say they made it well. The coffee was not bad and the service was OK. It's a small restaurant that has a uninspiring decor, but it is clean. Sometimes small is good. ENJOY! 😎
the portions are really big and dill you up easily so I usually leave a lot leftover, one time they got my order wrong and delivered really late. I love the little burger sliders tho! The fries are really mid . I like the turkey sandwich, again it's really big so it will last for a few meals
The environment is relatively small. Seating options include booths and chairs, although most of the available seats are best suited for smaller groups of 2-4 individuals. Coffee is served once, and the cup size may be smaller than anticipated. The sandwich is a reasonable size, and the portions are worth the price paid. During busy periods, customers may need to request a coffee refill, but refill service is offered after the restaurant has quiet down. Overall, the quality of service is average, with no exceptional aspects. It's possible that staff may have been unavailable at times due to how busy it can get. I ordered the chicken Salad sandwich and felt like it was a bit bland I felt like it needed something more. However, I did enjoy how the bread was toasted and would like to try different types of sandwiches. My sandwich cost about $10. If you order something with fries it usually costs like an extra $7
The chorizo burger was really good and full of flavor. The sweet potato fries were also good and cooked well. Unfortunately, the chicken sandwich was disappointing. It was very dry and bland, mostly just bread and chicken with little seasoning. The other item was okay, but nothing special. Overall, it was a mixed experience.
Absolutely terrible service. I’ve ordered breakfast from these people every other day, no problem, delivered to Forest Hills as well with zero issues. Now all of a sudden the owner states I have to order MORE food to qualify for delivery. $20 minimal. I’m a returning customer that always placed orders for 14-16$. The employee who spoke to me on the phone as well gave me a disgusting attitude. They just lost a customer, I’ll be informing my co workers & friends to stay the hell away as well.
I ordered California omelette and seasonal berry waffles over the phone for delivery. I repeated the order twice for seasonal berry waffles to the person who answered my call and he seemed very rushed throughout the entire call, therefore messing up my order. The delivery I received was a California omelette with burnt toast and berries with no waffles at all. I called again to make them aware that the order was wrong and to advise the diners employees to be kinder and more attentive when taking orders over the phone. This time the person who answered was ruder and responded with “I wasn’t the one taking your order” and hung up right away on me. I was going to try and request to speak to a manager and he did not give me the chance to since he so rudely hung up.
