In short: decent food in an exquisite ambience. I'd say the restaurant gets the stars from the great views of the golf, available from any table. The food itself, while not bad, is somewhat bland. We added salt to all our food. But the waiters are nice and always around, and the place feels very nice, afternoon or evening. However, if you're looking for exceptional food, go upstairs to the much more expensive and even more incredible views Le Cupole restaurant.

Everything was bland. Pasta dishes were alright, mains not so much. Main dishes were very underwhelming and overall not good. Price was also quite high for the low quality. After 9 days in Italy this is by far the most disappointing meal, but it is edible. The bread was good. Incredible views but would probably stick to drinks at the bar.

Le due stelle sono solo per la location e il panorama, tutto il resto è stato un disastro. Se non alloggi nell’hotel ti consiglio vivamente di non andare a cena in quanto, il personale da’ attenzioni e serve solamente ai loro tavoli. Abbiamo aspettato circa 25 minuti per un primo mediocre senza ricevere neanche delle scuse per l’attesa. Inoltre la scelta del menu è scarsa e le materie prime non sono di ottima qualità. Purtroppo ci avete rovinato la serata a Rapallo.

What an absolute disaster from start to finish. We dined here three times during our stay at the hotel for breakfast lunch and dinner and each meal was worse than the last. Breakfast buffet was cold and unappetizing (mosquito season in Italy is a real thing!!!). Lunch was no better. We waited a full hour before anyone even approached us to take our order. The waitress was inattentive and clearly lacking in her job with no sense of urgency or professionalism. But dinner was the true disaster. They did not honor our reservation leaving us standing and waiting without explanation. When I tried to ask what was going on the waiter had the audacity to put his hand up in my face 🖐️ which was nothing short of disgraceful for a restaurant in such a beautiful coastal beach town. Throughout all of this the restaurant staff were completely disorganized and inattentive and the food and beverage director appeared utterly clueless about even the basics of customer service. The sad thing is that most of the staff are super nice and friendly, but completely untrained. 100% of the fault goes to management. And the food itself was a complete failure. The fish I was served was so overly salty it was inedible. An embarrassment in a country where fresh high-quality cuisine is the norm. Avoid it entirely and spend your money at one of the many excellent restaurants nearby that actually know how to treat their guests and serve proper food!
