Chu's 2 is my wife and I's favorite lunch meeting place. Wonderful food and the owner is awesome and very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. There's outdoor seating available which is nice. Try the sushi, eating art is fantastic!

I just had the best lunch at Chu’s too. Always the friendliest service in town and excellent sushi. I love the huge menu and they have the nicest patio seating area out by the water fountain. It was a perfect day to enjoy an outdoor lunch. We’ve been coming here for years and it’s delicious and consistent every time. I highly recommend it.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant!! very friendly staff, they know what I'm going to order before I walk in the door. they always remember me and have my place set when I pull in the driveway. Love the atmosphere, amazing prices and amazing food. my normal order is the volcano roll and amazing roll and they are delicious!!!! I highly recommend anyone to go here, and if you don't like raw fish the volcano is cooked they also have other food choices you are not limited to sushi and Every thing is extraordinary!

The owner really makes an effort to please his customers and has such a happy and positive energy. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always hot. One of my favorite places :)

This is by far the best Chinese food restaurant I have dined in. The food is amazing, the service is amazing, Mr. Chu is so friendly and positive it radiates in his restaurant. I am a regular here, and plan to be for a long time. The Mongolian Beef is by far the BEST in comparison to other restaurants. It is a must have! The Chu Special Salad is also amazing! Also, on my birthday, they gave me it for free! Love this place!

I have been here many times and I am NEVER disappointed. Love the food. Staff are all very pleasant and friendly. Calm atmosphere not too loud. The ONLY downside is because it's all so good, I always order too much! :)

We stopped here on a road trip through California. I am so glad we did! The food was amazing. My wife and I both got lunch specials and the portions were excellent. She tried the chicken and broccoli and I got the Mongolian beef. We also shared a garlic calamari and sushi roll. Everything was delicious. We are so happy we stopped here for lunch! Definitely recommend!

Chu's Too is a classic spot in downtown Redding. They have a lovely mix of Chinese standards along with a fresh sushi bar. The service is always excellent and the food is always fantastic. We love the Dry Braised Chicken! It's the best!

Service was amazing, very nice and quick. Very clean but not very much seating, it is pretty small inside. I was expecting it to be like Peter Chus Skyroom but the menu/food is pretty different but still good. Its definitely more of a sushi place as compared to chinese food. Overall had a very nice experience, glad I tried it.

I eat here regularly and have for years now. I usually get the Kung Pao Extra Spicy and the staff knows it when I come in too. They are always so friendly and make me feel like a welcome regular every time. Mostly I’m a takeout only but eating in occasionally is nice too. They are always so great and I’ve never had any issue with quality or wrong order.

Delicious dragon roll! And friendly efficient service. The miso soup was not my favorite but perhaps the chefs choice ... and the chef is wonderful! Not many people here on a Friday night, very worth seeking out.

This little place is a gem! The food was delicious and cooked great. The place was small and packed but the man running the place was so full of character, I didn't mind the wait. I had the Teriyaki chicken and tempura combo. Every bite was flavorful. My partner had the Mongolian Beef. We really enjoyed the cozy, romantic atmosphere, the friendly service and delicious food.

Usually very pleased but I got thr lemon chicken and it seems like they dye the sauce yellow with food coloring? It stained my lips and fingers, and really the chicken was thin, mostly batter.

pretty decent option in the middle of no where. the udon soup was fresh and light, i’d skip the sushi there was a lot of sauce and rice with little filling. service was attentive and good.

Editing to take two stars down. I could be remember wrong but I think they used to have regular chicken breast (in their spicy ginger garlic chicken at least). Recently it’s been the thin pre-sliced chicken that is super thin most Chinese places use. Or if they did used to use it the quality has gone down from a couple years ago. Also I used to get a lot of chicken, it’s now about 30% chicken to 70% veg in the dish. A lot of which are frozen peas. And sadly the portions in general are far smaller. The flavor is still amazing. Sadly, as it’s now pre-processed chicken I may rarely return as there’s a couple of places left in town that still use real chicken. So sad about this! I loved this place.

Went in about 2pm on a Friday, the place was near empty. I ordered tempura lunch special and my friend broccoli beef. The soup was very nice but we didn't care for the sweet dressing on the cabbage salad, personal preference. The broccoli beef was good and my friend took her leftovers home. I sent my tempura back, it was thick and gummy batter not the light and crispy that tempura should be. I can only assume the cook doesn't know not to over mix the batter or it gets doughy, it was the worst I have ever had. The manager(?) protested that they had been there 40 years, no...the Chus Skyroom at the airport has been open for 40 years and would never serve that gummy mess. I probably will not return sticking to the original Chus.
