Nice little restaurant with enough parking and other vendors around. Delicious food and courteous personal.
Good food. Open late with a small bar
Ilke salvadorian food and here is delicious
Pupusas. Need I say more. Enjoy, they are good.
Very good tamales and pupusas.
The food, super & good family dining.
Food was well done and delicious.
Delicious pupusas love them
Good service food was hot
The cannabis club next door is amazing
The popusas was so delicious 😁
Great service, very kind and explained their menu. Food was real good too. Planning on coming back in the near future.
Excellent salvadorean food
Great service!!!! Amazing pupusas!!! Friendly stuff... Lupita and Yamilite are very attentive and friendly!!!
Absolutely amazing! I loved the food and the artwork inside made you feel a certain way 💕
We had pupusas, loroco and mix, also boiled yuca and all was very tasty! Totally recommended. Also very cheap
I can't complain everything is good

I love this place never had an issue with service, food was great and the prices are reasonable. My Family loves the mixed pupusas
Delicious pupusas, Queso con loroco yummmyyy, outstanding service, that’s really hard to find in 2019 sad but true. I’m going to come back for the conchas negras cóctel.
An ok place to have pupusas just the atmosphere not accommodating too loud too early for lunch on the music not very Suttle. And tbh waitress don't care.
We drove out from Huntington Beach to visit a family member. She asked for pupusas and 'Mi Sombrero Azul' was the closest location. We were not disappointed. We ordered loroco, frijol, chicharrón, and revuelta. Delicious food and great service.
I love this place when I got in this restaurant is like you come home. Fresh food, good vibes great service! Fresh made Salvi food 💯! Come and have fun !
Best pupusas in the area. They take a while... But good things come to those who wait. Always fresh! I dont want a precooked reheated pupusa.
This Salvy restaurant has excellent breakfast plates. Pupusas are excellent. my son and I, however, enjoyed the Carne asada plate. handmade tortillas are YUM!

Very recommended. Good food and they allow to order ahead.
Nice place to eat will recommend to friends and family hostess are cordials
Food was delicious and the service was great and very friendly
Great pupusas specials.
The pupusas were kind of flat this time. They always make it chunky and full of the stuffing. But still okay I guess..
Good service, the waitress gave good service, Good food, Pupusas so delicious
Food pretty good last time I went got mojarra frita, I also ate their caldo de gallina ,carne asada y pupusas before .that place just needs good air conditioning system during summer afternoons too hot uncomfortable to eat in there

Pupusas and Caldo de Gallina is good here
Quality of food is not as good as in the past
Okay food not my go to place
Good food. Slow service. They need more staff. Just gone girl working who can't even multitask.
Delicious food, but what is the case in order the food on the phone if they are going to start making it when you arrive
The popusas are good but dont be fooled by the dollar popusas. They are twice as small as when they are regular priced.. and it's only the revueltas that are a dollar
Food was surprisingly fantastic. Salvadorian flavors were on point and did not disappoint. Meals were served fresh. Our appetizer came out alongside our meal, but we didn't mind too much. Service left a lot to be desired. Service was not only slow, but it also took a while to receive our order. This location was somewhat empty so I struggled to find a logical reason. I recommend the carne asada if you don't mind a mustard base seasoning.
Advertised pupusas @ $1.50, but to go only and and only one kind….the sign posted outside is not specific, it is a good way to lure in customers. I call this switch and bait.

Sombrero Azul its a Salvadoran Restaurant here you can find typical dishes from that country only. The Restaurant has a dance floor that if you looking for a place to dance your favorite Cumbias music and sing karaoke, Fridays and Saturdays are the best days. The food is great but expensive. If you like Pupusas you can find the best ones there. During the week they have the better prices for Pupusas only, usually Pupusas prices go from $2.50 to $3.00 per Pupusa but during the week they have them for 0.99 cents per. They call them "Pupusas Especiales" and they're real good! If you like Pupusas this is your place. Their menu include every typical dish from the country's folklore. This place is located on Vanowen and Winnetka next to a gas station.
The popusas were delicious but dont be fooled, Monday through Friday they have 1$ popusas. The bad thing is its only the revuelta type. And they were smaller than the ones you buy Saturday and Sunday and didnt even have as much stuffing as the non dollar ones... let's just say they are the size of a CD-rom. 😔😔😔

Experience pupusas , to much oil and chocolate with milk was more like only milk :( tables dirty we have to cleanup
First time visiting Mi sombrero azul restaurant. I ordered sopa de gallina india but was very disappointed, the sopa didn’t have no flavor at all and the chicken was also with no flavor too. I always order the same dish from “Mariscos la Serenata” or “Sonsonate Grill” these restaurants keep that Salvadorean flavor which I love.
Hen Soup was not fresh, no meat just vegetables: Potato, squash and green beans. Rice was old, salad one small slide of tomato one slide of radish, one slide of cucumber and old oxidized lettuce. Beer expensive and no chips while waiting for the food. Definitely I never be again in this place.
not so great. I got pupusas they were okay. but my husband pollo guisado was horrible. the chicken was salty and the vegetables were raw.. not coming again

The experience was bad there popusa are not all that. The service bad you pay a lot and they don’t even give u what u order. Never again 👎
Garbage service they dont tell you there's a different price than the big sign outside that says 99 cents pupusas save your money an time an head ache
It was Horrible the worst Camerons a La Diablo! For $23 dollars! Shrimp were so over cooked! Like hard rocks and I told the server they took it back made another plate and still were overcooked was no Bueno! Avoid absurd portion sizes like for a child barley any rice or beans was so weird. Like rice and beans cost few dollars for huge batches to make absolutely ridiculous. For 25 dollars not worth it tortilla was not cooked rite either they need a better cook or show them how to make Shrimp only needs to cook a few mins!

A big joke buying food in this place. The worst Salvadoran restaurant.
My BF & I visited this place to meet up with a group of friends. We sat next to our friends up front by bar area & Waitress/servers saw us but never acknowledged us. My BF & I were there for 40 min & both waitresses/servers never took our orders. I would understand if they were busy, but besides the group we were with, which were 5 guys, there were only 2 other guys in the entire restaurant. The 2nd guy got there 35 min after us & ordered food within 5 min of arrival. I believe waitresses/servers didn't approach us because I'm a woman. They were both very chummy with all the men & I'm guessing they couldn't be chummy with my BF since I was there! I'm definitely not going there again. Very poor service towards women/couples!
Good food, but horrible service. I came to eat here before and I really like the breakfast and pupusas are delicious, but the service is horrible. They treat you like if you are just there to eat for free. So next time I ordered for pick up and when I show up the cashier is just there did not acknowledge me till another girl came from kitchen and asked if I was picking up. Cashier still did not say anything, till I told her to ring me up and she was so rude. I'm done with this place
