I usually always order for pick up and I’m super satisfied with the portions and with the quality. I’m so happy they made one in walking distance. I highly recommend mission burrito! It’s delicious!

The chicken tacos were awesome. I have been going to Mission Burrito for 30 years now. They have 'Taco Tuesday' night and the tacos are $2.25 each. That's the day to go.

Plates of Mexican food, pitchers of beer, and a salsa bar. Less of a “first date” kinda place, more of a “every Friday night after work” favorite.

I think they have been in business for 50 years or more. Legit Mexican food made by people who know what they are doing. I highly recommend it.

Just did a quick family burrito 45 bucks after tax and feeds like 15 people...You really cannot beat that price.If you can't tell those burritos are legit 2 ft long.

A fine establishment. Watching them grow over the last 20+ years has been wonderful to see. Great people and always super friendly and great food. As for this location specifically, I was sad to see Sabroso's close, but was glad to find it was replaced by an equally wonderful authentic Mexican American food establishment. My business/family will continue to support them. Thank you! They also have great specials and I recommend them for a wonderful taco Tuesday.

I have only tried the tamales, but every time I go there I just have to keep getting them bc they are so good. The masa is fluffy and moist. Ask for their green sauce on top, it goes very well with pork and chicken filling. The sweet corn tamales are also delicious and only cost $2.50. They save very well, so if you don't finish it, just make sure it's well wrapped so it doesnt dry out and you can steam or microwave them to reheat. The restaurant is very clean and the staff has always been nice and helpful to me. I appreciate the fact that you can get a great meal without spending $20. It's what keeps me coming back on a regular basis.

This location is new to us as of last year. We live in Tarzana and use to drive to the Chatsworth location. We do a lot of takeout, and although this location has a dining section, the takeout is every bit as well prepared, presented, and delicious. My philosophy is to commend people for a great job with as much vigor as you would if you were complaining of a bad job. Well, I was delighted to have called the staff at the Winnetka location to let them know that we couldn't have been served a better meal. Our order was ready when I arrived, I was checked out with a smile, I was happy to leave a tip, and my wife and I were gratified emensely with the meal. Thanks a Million to our Winnetka Mission Burito...Once again!! Two more satisfied customers!

I love coming here as late as possible. I'm not sure why I always have. And recently I've noticed a lot more customers come in later and later. This is the only place to go for Taco Tuesday.

WONDERFUL new place in town. They are currently checking vaccination cards for dine in services, but have a wonderful menu in case you want to take things to go. I took my little family and we shared a shredded chicken burrito and the steak quesadilla. The guacamole is one of my new favorite things in the world. They give good portion sizes as well. I definitely could not eat it all on my own. They serve beer as well and have tv's that were playing the football games. It was a nice environment to be in. The table next to me had tacos which looked amazing, and that is for sure what I am trying next time!

Tastes like home!!!

I've been coming to Mission Burrito for almost 20 years. I always get the same thing, which is their crispy chicken tacos with rice and beans and their chips and salsa are so good too. Goes perfectly with an horchata.

Another staple for my family. I've been going to Mission Burrito for decades and I just realized that I have never tasted anything other than the Red Burrito. I have had the beans, tortilla chips, etc... and they are great, but as far as entree's, I have never eaten anything but the Red Burrito. This is the only restaurant I do this with. The Red Burrito Plate to be specific because it comes with rice and beans. The Red Burrito Plate is a sublime mixture of cubed beef in a Colorado sauce mixed with cheese served with rice and refried beans on the side. It sounds simple but it's not. I wish there was a way for me to describe the sheer joy I feel when I take my first bite of one of these. It's like the first time every time. I go back to the 80's and Softcell is playing on KROQ and everything in the world is beautiful. It's just me, Red Burrito, and 80's KROQ. Thank you Mission Burrito. I plan on enjoying the Red Burrito Plate for a few more decades to come. Buen Provecho!

We used to go to the one in West Hills, and we're thrilled that they opened a branch closer to us. Same good food and quality but my boyfriend is heartbroken because they don't have Orange Bang at this new place. Well, I guess you can't get everything.

Very good food and portions! This is basically the same as Sabroso but with a shiny new coat of paint. They fully remodeled the interior and it just seems way cleaner. Enchiladas, Chile relleno, machaca con huevos, and the kids were happy with the chicken strips.

First time. Ordered the Cali burrito and horchata. The horchata was amazing and hit the spot. To me the burrito was missing a little bit of flavor and I didn’t like the thick cut of fries they used.

I had the taquitos with rice & beans and it made me borderline violent because it was so delicious. Also the cashier was very friendly and attentive. Great service, great food.

It's packed with all sorts of good things and tastes really good. It's big enough to make a second meal out of it. $10.95.

The service; I tend to be a person who doesn’t ever look the most cleaned up—when i’ve gone to sizzler, ihop, places of that sort i’ve been treated as lesser, dismissed, given burned food, etc. Today, at this location I felt human for once. Wonderful service. Cleanliness? My goodness, this place is SPOTLESS. And the food? I cleaned my plate, and finished my horchata. The low review about a stupid policy, online ordering, are just entitled people who didn’t get their way and want something to complain about. It’s a shame because this place is genuinely so good, and many people will overlook it because of a couple reviews from people wanting to spread their bad day to a business. Please give this place a chance. It should be packed everyday. I have literally no complaints. 10/10 across the board.

Good burrito, decent portions, had some flavor to it, Was not busy for a Saturday night which is usally not a good sign. But seeing as I was take out and I think most people are these days, I cant base an opinion of that no more. So food was decent, pricing was slightly above expectations. staff was super friendly and parking was simple. It is a great location however The previous place "Sabrosos" is missed.

The beans & rice are truly what brought us into this well kept restaurant. We love Taco Tuesday so we found our favorite lunch spot. If you enjoy a private and quiet place to eat Mexican food this is a good nest with fast service!

Fast, affordable classic Mexican food. I love Mission Burrito. You order at the counter, find a table and your order is brought to you. The food is consistent and good. Service is above average. You can't go wrong stopping at Mission Burrito.

We both got Al Pastor plates. These were okay today. Usually, they are better. I got there when they 1st opened in the morning, so I believe they probably used what was left over from the day before. It was kinda dry.

Ordered takeout and got their "green pork" and chicken big burritos. The portions were very hefty. The chicken was a bit underseasoned and overcooked, but the pork was well seasoned and delicious. The guacamole was well seasoned and overall the burrito composition had good ratios of each ingredient. The salsa was very flavorful and some of the best I ever had.

It was Taco Tuesday! The beef tacos were good but the ground beef was very bland!

It is very important for a food place to be as clean as possible, this was my first time here and as soon as I came in there is a bad smell, all tables were kind of greasy and the staff have no sense of good customer service, food was average and prices fair.

The food, service and atmosphere has fallen off over time. It shows. Love the wall art.

Food is very bland, salsa isn't spicy. Expensive, $4.50 for a regular basic taco is crazy.

We've eaten here a few times, the food is fine, nothing to rave about. We ordered out last night and I decided to try something new. I ordered the beef flautas. As I was eating them, they just tasted off and I didn't finish. Turns out, I got food poisoning from them last night and missed the first day at my new job. Be careful what you order here...

This food is not authentic, I ordered a carne asada burrito and it was the worst burrito I have ever had. The meat did not seem grilled and it had a lot of beans and very little meat. Not worth it!!!! 😡

Visiting from New Mexico and wanted to try California taco's. I had them delivered. They came with NO salsa nothing dry. Come on taco's without salsa's!!!! The stories I will tell. It's all about the salsa.

The old Sabroso is now Mission Burrito. There was no sign on either door saying which one to enter (it's the one near the parking lot btw). Got inside, nobody at register. A guy showed up a minute later to take the order, and he was impatient. Got the "special of the day" handwritten on the board "beef fajitas". It was like leftover crock pot meat with bad texture and no flavor. Rice was ok, beans bland and not fresh tasting. Too bad. we need another go-to mexican restaurant around here.

Had lunch there for the first time and most likely our last, husband and daughter had the cheese en enchiladas.. nothing special they didn't have much flavor I had the big carne asada burrito.. it was cold and had to ask then to heat it up, Again no flavor plus the carne asada in the burrito would crumble in my mouth 😒 like it wasn't fresh or it had been reheated too many times

Food had no taste and was cold. Sent it back and tasted worse when it came back. Salsa was bland and given in an extra small cup.

Manager has an aditude problem, they forgot one of the sour creams I payed extra for and he replied with a bad additude no they are alll there, when I showed him the reciept he just said oh didnt appoligize just oh.

I thought I would to give this place another try but I regretted because the California burrito steakb had old overcooked dry steak I don't recommend this place there are better Mexican fast food places just down the street

I ordered dinner for my family in our order we had camarones a la diabla and they gave us a plate of carnitas the fish tacos were very salty

I tried placing an order over the phone and had me on hold for 15 mins I called again and they put me on hold again. Ridiculous!!!

Food was great , service not so much. When ordering, the cashier was giving my girlfriend major attitude. My girlfriend was trying to explain to her what she wanted and was asking questions about what the plate comes with. It was obvious that she needed help and needed all the information while ordering. I always give the person the benefit of the doubt and didn’t think too much of it. I still tipped 20% when I paid upfront, but when my girlfriend did not get any sour cream with her order, she asked the lady and she replied rudely you will have to pay for it. My girlfriend did not want to run my card again and was kind of upset. I thought it was a little absurd since sour cream is probably $.25, and I already tipped a good amount. My food was great, but as a man if my girlfriend is not happy, then I am not happy. No Bueno.

I don’t know what the food tastes like here now or how the employees are…but this place used to be called SABROSO. It was the best hands down Mexican food. I grew up there, the cooks and employees knew me and my family by name. COVID must have had a part of their demise. It makes me very sad and I do not believe that I am the only one who feels this way. Mission Burrito is OK… but it will never be Sabroso!! I wish well to the employees that were there and I miss the food! I live in Oklahoma now, and still cannot find a better place than SABROSO!

I heard good things about this place from people in the area but unfortunately I disagree. First of all, they charged me close to $12 for a child size bowl of Menudo. Although it tasted pretty good it’s a very small amount for that price. So because it was such a small amount, I ordered the chilaquiles with asada. I found a long piece of hair in it! 🤮 I’m disgusted and never will return to this place again

Ordered a single beef burrito. The tortilla was very soft and mushy and very fragile, it seemed closer to raw than cooked. The burrito was warm rather than hot. The taste was bad, none of the ingredients tasted like they meshed well together, it tasted like when I was done with the very soft but tough beef, the rest of the burrito was rice and large chunks of tomato. I felt sick immediately after finishing and threw up about 20 minutes later.

I asked for a hamburger with lettuce and cheese and I only got cheese and the meat was dry and had no flavor.Also I got Birria Tacos it was 🤮nasty meat was hard and the consume was salty would not recommend.I would’ve give it a 0 star if I can.
