Food is amazing here! The Chicken Katsu was delicious and my family loved it! We have also had the Teriyaki chicken and it was great! The owner Joe is super nice! Gonna come back for sure!

My husband and I were big fans of Aloha Chicken & Shrimp, so when we saw this new spot had taken over, we were excited to give it a try — and we’re so glad we did! We loved it. I ordered the Shrimp Tempura Bento Box and my husband got the Chicken Katsu Bento Box. Both were absolutely delicious and the portions were generous — definitely a great value for the price. I also appreciated that they still offer the original Aloha Chicken & Shrimp menu! They don’t have online ordering just yet, but we called in our order and it was ready in about 15 minutes. Great food, fast service — we’ll definitely be back!

Really nice family. They have specials on there teriyaki plates. It comes with a simple salad and great homemade dressing. Shrimp is incredible! Teriyaki sauce on the chicken is amazing!

Finished late night training and it’s 8:39pm. Just want a fresh high protein simple clean good bite to eat before bed. Thinking Asian…but it’s Richardson, with a limited variety of options….amounting to a choice of noodles, ramen, or fried rice places focused on feeding college students. Mori Teriyaki Wok Sushi Rolls popped up and the reviews, comments were all consistent. Happy, happy customers returning again and again even though the place had recently opened. First impressions walking in… Brightly lit, easy to read signage. Clean and I mean sparkling clean. Tables, chairs counters, kitchen, prep station. One chef, Joe, slinging 8 orders at once, but smiling and interacting with the all the customers with care. And so many TO GO orders! This is a well kept secret. Ordered the Ahi Tuna Tower and Spicy Chicken Teriyaki with Vegetables & Noodles. Wow! Ate half of the Ahi Tuna Tower before remembering to take a photo. Wolfed that down and chef returned with the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken in a to go container without a word. Polite, considerate and scrumptious food with generous portions! On top of that, such a huge variety of drinks.! Pokka, Moki’s, Hawaiian Sun, Olipop, Poppi, Ramune, Mexican CocaCola, Topo Chico, Tomomasu, ITO-EN AND ITO EN BOLD unsweetened green tea! ITO-EN Bold you can’t find anywhere! Definitely a must…stop on by. Better than grabbing dinner to go from Central Market or Whole Foods. Tastier than any nearby competitors. And the prices can’t be beat for the huge portions!

Such a warm and chill environment!! Definitely will come back! Came for a pop up but was enticed by the delicious smells. The owners are so nice and the food is amazing! I highly recommend both the Crunch Salmon Roll and Las Vegas Roll!

Mori Teriyaki recently opened, taking over the location and menu of Aloha Chicken and Shrimp Richardson. Joe and his family have done a great job in bringing over Seattle Teriyaki to Richardson while maintaining the standards of Aloha's Hawaiian Menu items. Key Takeways: 1) Seattle style teriyaki: the full-size teriyaki rice plate portion size is generous comes with salad and two scoops of rice. Sauce wasn't too sweet and meat wasn't dry. Enjoy them as part of their Combo Plates (pair with Aloha's signature items!) or as an affordable (but still filling) Mini Plate. 2) Aloha's legacy lives on! Current menu pictures show Mori has retained a good portion of Aloha's menu (Aloha Chicken, Coconut Shrimp, Chicken Katsu, MACARONI SALAD, etc.) The taste is definitely comparable to Aloha's because the new owners spent a lot of time training under the previous owners. 3) Affordable "Mini Plates" (see pictures): Aloha's budget-friendly mini-plate menu is kept! Even a "mini plate" is a reasonably filling lunch option that comes with plenty of protein, rice, and choice of egg roll or Aloha's signature macaroni salad.

Fast food cooked to order. I have been 3 times now, and each time the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. It's not fancy, but very clean. Food is delicious, and affordable

The spicy chicken and teriyaki beef are really tasty and come in generous portions. 👍💕 The portions were big, so I brought the leftovers home. Plus, they packed it in a nice to-go box from the start, which made it super easy to carry. 👍🏻😁 The place has been newly renovated, so it’s clean and stylish. ❤️ There’s macaron ice cream, a claw machine, and a Pokémon game that the kids love. 😍 Highly recommend! ☺️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I absolutely love this place. MAINLY because of the portion they give you. When you go out and eat now places don’t even give you a good portion to fill you up. The taste is just right and price is fair. Great service as well I come here just about every week. Such a gem!

Love coming here for a quick lunch. As a UTD student, their $10 mini plates (My favorite is the Chicken Katsu plate) are absolutely perfect for a really yummy and good value meal. The old Aloha menu from the previous owners still remains as well but their new additions are awesome! Will continue to come back.

Great food, acceptable price. Only waited a couple minutes for my order, which was a pleasant surprise as most places take longer, especially since i ordered with a group. I ordered the Philadelphia rolls and everything tasted fresh. New owners(a very nice family) took over in June so decoration and theming are a little all over the place but im sure it will come into its own at some point. The music isn't loud, which is great. Would absolutely recommend if youre looking for a fresh and varied selection of korean food and sushi.

My wife and I went here off the cuff on a date night and let me tell you this is the best kept secret in DFW for Authentic And Fresh sushi. We met the owner and his wife right before they were closing and they humbly accepted us even though they were closing soon. Not only are they just amazing people with great customer service but the food is OFF THE CHARTS. My wife had orange chicken from their hot menu options and I went with my usual on the sushi (rainbow roll, cali, and spicy rainbow). The Quality is Grade A and more reasonably priced than you’d expect. You can go to a sushi joint and get 1/2 the quality or you can go see my friends and get the ultimate experience from them! We will be back again soon!! Seriously you can taste the difference between their quality of sushi and work versus the other guys.
