I originally planned to visit the temple, but turns out even the gods are on holiday for Labor Day! 🙏 So, I ended up at a nearby, more local breakfast spot instead. The prices were super reasonable, and the place was packed with regulars—looks like it’s a favorite for a reason! 😋

It's been awhile (before "the lockdown") since I've visited The House. It was a great place to eat on Sundays after worship at GACC. It fell off my radar after streaming services, etc. Years later, I had a hankering for a homestyle meal and BAM!, The House flooded my memories. Fast forward, July 2024, the fault was mine, not theirs. It's good to go home to The House. I can't recommend the Liver & Onions highly enough. Melt in your mouth, impeccably seasoned, cooked to perfection, and to top that off, 1, 2, 3 sides. If it weren't 4 in the morning, I would be on my way NOW! Get in The House as soon as you can. (They start cleaning up around 1:30; do NOT even try to drop in any later.) I wish I could comment on dessert, but I didn't get that far 😞)

This is a great find. Great menu items on a extensive breakfast and lunch menu. I had the Liver and Onions with three sides; onion rings, pinto beans, okra. It also included a voice of dinner roll or cornbread. The liver also came with grilled onions and mushrooms. Very tasty. Located right off of Arapaho and near the North Central Expressway 75, it's convienent. The food was quick and delicious, and at these prices it's a great value.

The staff was great. The server serverd with a smile a great attitude. The food was comforting and good. I would consider this a hidden gem for good affordable breakfast.

Super simple breakfast food done right. I reminds me of my mom’s cooking. Great fluffy light pancakes, eggs and bacon cooked perfectly. Awesome staff.

First time here and ordered Migas with corn tortillas, hash browns, and their house salsa which was good, but mild. The waitress acknowledged regulars and had a camaraderie with them. Quiet setting. Tasty food and affordable prices. The coffee is really fresh and good!

Your small town breakfast, lunch cafe. Good service, clean, biscuits good, eggs perfect, bacon crispy. Only complaint is the gravy tastes like milk and flour and a bit thick. Secret to good gravy is to make it NOT taste like flour. Maybe add a bit of that bacon or sausage grease. You'd be amazed! Oh, maybe light background music would be welcomed. $13+ with tax. I find that somewhat pricey.

Hamburger Steak was not too bad. Lacked salt and not sure if there was supposed to be a sauce or gravy that came with it. Scrambled eggs were were decent alongside some good country potatoes. Biscuits were fluffy and good came with a side of gravy. Double Cheeseburger was solid, juicy patties packed with flavor with crispy lettuce. The fries were good. The staff were kind, attentive, and made sure my fountain drink was refilled.

The hot chocolate is nice ,I enjoyed it. Garden omelette and hash brown with cup of fruits it’s a good breakfast. A very normal and chill place. Give vibes like of an old breakfast place.! The staff is very nice

Horrible service by what looked to be the owner, yes the owner! She came to us to say that we couldn’t sit more than 5 people in our booth. Mind you we had kids sitting with us, soooo where are we supposed to sit our extra child? She gave us a lame excuse saying the children can burn their hands or choke if they all sat together. It’s the way she said it with a stinking attitude. So we decided to leave. Their food isn’t even that great. Horrible treatment.

First time here. It’s PERFECT for anyone over the age of 50. My mother would love it here. The food is very bland with little to no taste. Granted I got biscuits and gravy. It was only $5. We originally were supposed to have a large party of people of 10 come in. But after this meal we decided to meet somewhere else. The waitress was very sweet and the older woman behind the counter was great too. My husband got the grits and there was no taste and the fruit was canned not fresh. But regardless I’m glad they can serve the community and maybe I should have gotten something else maybe a combo? The gravy was bland with no meat so I ordered a $3 sausage which was sooo small.
