First time here. The restaurant is very cutesy. Good service. The dish I ordered was the grilled octopus. It was good could of been more soft then chewy. Little to much sourness for me from the lemon. Also the lemonade was easy to sour. I was sitting a little close by the door when the waitress decides to open the door and hold it open and let the cold in while she spoke to someone outside by the patio was freezing. Through off my whole eating experience. Didn't finish eating food got cold. I left.

I stayed one night (this past Friday night) in an AirBnb in Richmond Hill, and got in late. There weren't many nice restaurants in the neighborhood that were open past 10, so I hiked to La Sala (which turned out to be quite a hike, actually). It was worth the hike. I had the tacos and two of the Agave Lover cocktail (a variation on a margarita). The tacos were absolutely fantastic, served with chips, a chipotle mayo sauce, and three excellent salsas, one of which was something I've never had before -- and it was fantastic. There was almost more food than I could eat -- lots of meat, enough small tortillas, plenty of sauces. The Agave Lovers were good. There was a musician playing the guitar and singing. The vibe was chill, service was attentive, and the food was great. I'm glad I went there.

I came here with my partner on a Sunday night, and we had such a great time! We sat at the bar, enjoyed some specialty cocktails and margaritas, and the food was absolutely delicious. The energy in the room was chill and inviting, making for a really nice experience.

A surprising gem in Kew Gardens with a vibrant 'pan latin' menu, innovative cocktails excellent service and festive (but not garish) ambience! They were helpful with familiar items and the cocktails were especially goodm The rationes would please anyone with their varied flavors and we didn't have anything that wasn't delicious! Can't wait to go back Note: they don't always serve brunch

An amazing experience overall. The food was great, the place was beautiful. We had great service . The waitress was so attentive and helpful. She recommended us amazing drinks and made sure we felt welcomed. Our food was brought out quickly by the other waiter . The live music was great . Would definitely come back !

Excellent tapas & dishes. VERY consistent all around. Service was great. Oscar’s wine suggestions weeds spot on. I have come back several times for the ceviche roll. It’s delicious and made the same way every time. The tres leches dessert 🍮 is also excellent. Chuzo de bistec appetizer is phenomenal and La Sala Mac and cheese is a heavy dish with lots of flavor. The Cubanito sandwich is also very well made. Both croquette options are great, too. Happy Hour happens Monday thru Friday from 5pm-7pm and has extremely affordable pricing for their quality. I have been to all the Wine Bars in the Forest Hills, Kew Gardens, Richmond Hill, Rego Park & Glendale areas and this is the BEST Wine Bar in Forest Hills, Kew Gardens and all the immediate areas aside from Manhattan.

Very cute vibes, attentive waiter who made sure we were always with a water refill. The food was great and I loved their willingness to substitute even better. We got the Mac and cheese and my friend doesn't eat pork, they asked if we wanted the pork on the side or if we wanted to change the meat; amazing 😍. The food did take long to come out (which we were fine with) but important to know this is not a quick bite. Also the place got a bit challenging to navigate to the bathroom with the large chairs. We will be back.

Tastiest lamb chops and chimichurri sauce! Service was slow but the waitress was also the bartender, so I think it would’ve been faster but she was busy and did a great job considering that. First meal in my new neighborhood and I don’t think I could’ve chosen a better place to make a spectacular impression.

I recently dined at La Sala and had a generally pleasant experience. The food was good but portions were quite limited. The chicken in the tacos was disappointing, though the shrimp was tasty. Guacamole and chips were delicious but in short supply. Despite these issues, the ambience of the restaurant is excellent and definitely worth experiencing.

Came here on a Saturday night. Great ambience and atmosphere. Love the interior design. Inside restaurant and or in patio dining available. 🦋 nice menu with great choices for everyone 🦋 good lighting & great music playing in background, enough to hear but great to have conversation in. 🦋we got the red sangria to try (very sweet ) 🦋salmon Machu pichu was the highlight item! So full of flavor & great size in quantity ‘ quality. So delicious, highly recommend. 🦋chuleta en Lena was good…but very small in quantity of items for that price. Even the yogurt sauce was very small amount… 🦋 street parking available. 🦋one coed restroom available. 🦋 staff were good. Overall highly recommend

Came on a Sunday evening and was seated in doors right away. The waitress was very sweet. The food was great, no complaints. We ordered the passion fruit and guava sangrias but they both tasted the same lol like white sangria. Unfortunately, me and my friend could barely hear each other because the table of 6 closest to us were scream talking at each other. They were like two tables away us and we could still hear their entire convo. I kept hearing random burst of “shhhhh!” but I wasn’t sure if it was coming from the other tables around them, the bartender or if they were doing it to each other lol it was weird and my ears were not happy. I just wished the waitress or manager told them to lower their voices just a TAD bit out of consideration for the other guests around them. And yes I get it, it’s a restaurant and people will be loud but they were literally screaming at each other the entire time. Nevertheless, their “pour decisions” neon sign is def an eye catcher and the whole ambiance is very calm and inviting. I would def go again.

Went for a quick bite while waiting for my niece to finish dance, nice atmosphere. They offer a happy hour with wine, beer and sangria, I have an issue with them serving Carlos Rossi jug of sangria with no added frills. Also I enjoy fresh made sangria with a little brandy or rum mixed in. We enjoyed the petite empanadas which were really tasty, and fries topped with tajin.

The service was OK. The bartender was musty. The sangria was poured out of premade It’s not made fresh, Carlo Rossi bottles. His freshly made margarita with Don Julio reposado was the only thing that was OK. The food was okay! It's not a Happy Hour.

Wish I had checked my phone order before leaving the restaurant. Food is delicious but my order got Brussels sprouts with plantains instead of the avocado. 😭

Be prepared to spend money and leave hungry. Nobody at my table enjoyed their food. The mushroom truffle croquette appetizer was the best food here. I ordered the Hawaiian chicken and for $22 at a so called "gourmet restaurant", I thought I would have been served a nice piece of grilled chicken with pieces of ham steak and two pineapple rounds with white rice. What i received instead was four thin slices of hard chicken with cartilage attached, pieces of sliced deli ham, and a few triangles of pineapple swimming in cream based orange sauce. I asked for no cilantro but there was cilantro in the rice. Another person at the table ordered machu pichu salmon which was served cold with squares of over cooked salmon nestled in a sea of quinoa. Another person ordered the lamb chops which tasted fine but it was served on an uneven metal rack on top of burning wood in a circular box. The lamb was cooked nicely but the potatoes were over done and the sauce for the pita had so much citrus that it overpowered the sauce. It's sad to say that I was eating cashews that I purchased earlier in the day at the table. The server we had was nice but confused as she forgot one person ordered a drink. The food does not come out together. One woman walks around with a scowl on her face and does not seem to be doing anything for the restaurant. The music had too much bass, and there was a movie on the TV with half-naked men on the screen. I wish I didn't have to spend $60 on basically a drink and appetizer just to cook when I came home because I left hungry.
