Avis sur Ale's Steakhouse & Bar Ridgecrest
visiting from Coachella Valley... The service was great! We received our drink orders right away, and our meals were quick too! I wasn't really supposed to eat red meat just yet, per doctor's orders, but I'd significantly lowered my cholesterol within normal range, so I deserved a nicely sized ribeye with a side of lobster tail. 🥩 🦞 I forgot what AC ordered, but it came with a side of fries and was probably just as NUMMY. Jessica was so sweet & attentive, and omg! everything was excellently priced. I hope to return soon! 😋 😋
The best restaurant in Town, omg. Their county fried steak is amazing!
I really miss going to Ale's since we moved away. I was back in town for a visit and went in and had my old favorite. Riley perfectly cooked with mashed potatoes and gravy and onion rings with jalapeño ranch. The food quality and friendly staff are just as I remembered it.
We came in here for a bite to eat and we were overjoyed at the senior menu. They had some wonderful choices and they cook my tri-tip very well, not done, medium well is how I ordered it and that is how it came. Service was good and I recommend this place.
My sister and I were taken here by our Uncle and Aunt for lunch, it was fantastic. The steak was perfect and the fresh green beans and salad were great. The food quality and quantity should have cost twice what we paid. The gentleman who waited on us was cheerful and knew just when to fill our drinks. This place is an oasis in the middle of the desert.
If you’re in Ridgecrest and seeking an exceptional dining experience, look no further than this remarkable local steakhouse. From the moment you walk through the door, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, striking a perfect balance between rustic charm and refined elegance. Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner, a business meeting, or a casual evening out, this establishment delivers on all fronts.
Amazing food, served very fast! Phantastic Margaritas, great draft beer. I ordered a sizzle steak with mushrooms and green beans, but it was served with onions and peppers as well. My husband had the pork chop with mushrooms and baked potatoes: great choice as well. Staff super friendly.
Steak was one of the best we have ever had. My husband had the ribeye and I had a filet mignon. Mashed potatoes were fabulous as well as the veggies. Our waitress was very attentive and very enjoyable. Was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and portions here. Highly recommend this restaurant!
This sit down restaurant is certainly one of the best in Ridgecrest. There's a variety of heart options. The service is sincere and thoughtful. The crowd is diverse too. During our trip we visited twice. The first time was very impactful after eating at a number of other places. It was definitely the place we wanted to visit again on our last day too. And for me a delicious treat was the blended raspberry margarita.
What a surprising find! So we roll into Ridgecrest for two days of dual-sport adventure riding thinking we would be lucky to find a nice place to eat. Nice? heck, the food and service were fantastic. We had such a good time the first night we came back a second time. This time we got lucky and were able to snag five seats at the bar. Another wonderful evening of food, drink, and very engaging staff. The bartender was a blast.
What stood out the most to me was the quality in each item. Everything is cooked the way it is supposed to be and it shows; baked potato that is easy to pull apart, fries that are golden with the perfect texture as well as a steak that was cooked to my preference & seasoned appropriately. The margarita was very well balanced with enough alcohol to get you a little tipsy. Combined with an extremely friendly staff, I will definitely be coming back here again!
It was nice and quaint. I had the porter house and it was good. I also got bacon wrapped jalapenos and they were fantastic. My brother got the ribs and said they were good also. The side of mushrooms was great, bigger than I expected. Altogether a fairly typical steak house the food was good the staff was friendly and the waitress was attentive.
I had the chicken cordon bleu and mashed potatoes and in the pictures it looked like it was homemade but when you get it, it’s the premade stuff from a factory formed around cheese and ham. It didn’t stop me from eating it that came with a sauce that was very very good. I’d say the food was excellent. It was four hours not five. It did have a funky smell to it when I walked in. I don’t know if it was the food or ….trash? The front desk staff was average friendly. Nothing to rave about nothing to complain about. My order was done on time and correctly and I received it. I’ll definitely go back. It appeared very busy when I went in the evening around dinner time.
I enjoyed my dinner here at ale's. We were seated quickly and our server was very prompt. The drinks had a ton of crushed ice in them which is apparently pretty popular and was kind of a fun novelty. The spicy Burger was great, but a little oily and my French fries were a little soggy but the flavor was excellent. The molcajete was fantastic. We got the red sauce which was described as hot and the green sauce was described as extra hot. The red sauce was plenty hot and very flavorful. The only negative of the whole experience was really that it took about 20 minutes after we were done eating for our server to come back and offer us the check. But this is a laid back town and so it's really not even a negative, it's just the way things seem to be. You won't be disappointed!
The steak was not bad, the veggies were worse than Walmart frozen veggies, the baked potato was good. The cheese curds were okay. We didn’t know either of our waitresses names because they were so quick to just take our order there was no introduction or anything like that. The prices doesn’t match the quality. The food came out quickly, that was a plus. I won’t return.
What a great place to sit down and enjoy a good time with others. But the steak was not it. It was very burnt, they tried to hide it by flipping the steak upside down. I asked for Medium rare and received a closer to medium well . Not sure what the whole hype is with the reviews but I had bigger expectations for a steakhouse. Mushrooms and veggies were nice
For a steakhouse charging $51 for a meal, I expected much higher quality. The mac and cheese it’s Kraft cheese from a box. That’s not what you expect from a steakhouse at this price point. serving cafeteria sides is crazy.
