Usually get my boy’s favorite double orange chicken at drive thru and always tastes great to him! Thank you 🙏🥰😋 We get other options and good too!

This place can get really busy and noisy at the same time. Staff are efficient in handling your order. You may need to "raise your voice" a little to get heard amongst the noise. There is a drive thru and wait times can be long. Best to order online so you can pickup your order quickly.

Food is very good. The serving stuff is very nice and friendly. If you want fast and good food this is recommend.

Been a few times and haven't had significant issues. My most recent trip was in and out quickly, food super hot, and good portions. I did a mobile order and in general I find doing that or going inside the better choices over the drive thru. Parking is terrible though.

The food is usually cooked adequately and portions are generous more often than not. Care is put into the cleanliness of the premises inside and out. Staff is very kind to let you know that if something is out, they will gladly make it for you if you want to wait a few minutes. Only downside is sometimes they lose online orders thru their app so you have to let the cashier know you’re picking up so that they start making your order (happened twice). If it is ready, it would be on the shelves on the right hand side of the restaurant.

Very consistent and the food is always nice and hot. The sizzling shrimp was very good. I highly recommend the chicken and green beans, classic orange chicken, and honey walnut shrimp. The mushroom and chicken is also very good along with the rice and choa mien. Generous portions for the family meal and single meal.

Not sure what it was about this location but the food tasted better than others back home. I ordered the bigger plate with all orange chicken and it was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful with my order. I suggest swinging by this place and grabbing some fresh orange chicken.

We were greeted enthusiastically upon entering. There were a few items missing in the hot line which were being made, so we waited for the items and we got them hot and fresh. I ordered super greens and the teriyaki chicken with the Sauce on the side. I didn't see the sauce added, unless it's not in The plastic cups anymore. The cashier had trouble with the gift card I presented but it was quickly resolved with help from the shift manager. This location is a nice addition to our little town.

Good food, always busy! Service can be slow when its really busy! I was offered a free soda for waiting. That was very cool of the server. I go back there all the time now. My fav take out restaurant in ridgecrest.

Went through the drive-thru around 3:30pm, on a Monday. Line wasn’t terrible long, maybe 5-8 min from getting in line to driving away with food. Definitely faster than a majority of the drive-thrus in town (keep it up Panda). Ordered two bowls and a chicken egg roll. Came out to $18. Food was hot and delicious. Definitely more rice than entree, which is normal. I feel like there could have been a half a scoop more protein though. I’ll definitely go back!

We have gone here four or five times now to eat dinner/lunch.We have always gone through Drive Thru,but we have eaten inside at Palmdale and they are a chain so no surprises there.I know that one of our trips,we were missing one of our entrees on a Bigger Plate order.We go here when we really cant decide on where to eat.I think the flavors are ok... We waited until the hype was over for this Panda Express here in Ridgecrest,because there is no way I am waiting twenty cars for here.The food is good ,but not twenty cars good. Several months ago,when you were in Drive Thru after you ordered,they had you stay back at the beginning of the building. ONLY AFTER THEY PEAKED OUT THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW AND WAVED YOU FORWARD,COULD YOU PULL UP TO THE WINDOW.EVEN IF NOONE WAS IN FRONT OF YOU.I thought that was SUPER ODD,and really question who is making the decisions in this place.They have since stopped doing that,but people dont forget that,and I dont see twenty cars deep anymore either.I think you guys are still learning maybe...so maybe thats all it is right :)

Okay, so customer service and probably management could use some mentoring. I went in and all the employees were engaged in other duties that's fine considering it was 1pm after the lunch rush. Took a moment for someone to serve me. What was odd, was after he filled my order that employee walked off and I was left waiting until another employee noticed me and range me up for my order. With the amount of time, If I was a dishonest person, I could have taken my meal for free. But I waited, paid, ate and left. This is a customer service industry, maybe prioritize that.

Very good service. The food is consistent, and you get a good amount of food for the price. 3 Stars on service because I got spring rolls and asked for extra sweet and sour sauce and didn't get any when I opened the bag at home.

Food is generally good but I had mix experiences in services. I received wrong food multiple times while dining in, I paid for the wrong order and other paid for mine. Worker told us to figure it ourselves since both were paid. One time in drive through, they only gave me 8 pieces of double orange chicken. If they are low in some food, they should of ask me to pick something other but they didn't.

I literally come here EVERYDAY! I just wish they would stop putting so MUCH CABBAGE in the chowmein! Im going to spend 15 minutes just picking out cabbage each time!! Ill attach a photo. Love the ladies in mid-shift but the night crew has bad attitudes!! Getting gangster on me qith the looks and the vibe!! Love my dayshifters!!!

The workers are always nice, I ask for teriyaki sauce and I get the teriyaki sauce and if I want chopsticks they'll give me chopsticks. They're nice. They never have really been rude. I have no issue with the workers. The food on the other hand. I used to like it a long time ago and I really wished that it tasted like that but it just doesn't and honestly it's just never really tasted good, it's just edible and it's fast and I already know what to expect which means I don't have to go someplace new. The noodles are usually almost always dry which I know they're not necessarily supposed to be a wet noodle but they're dry and they don't have any flavor to them, maybe flavor of some oil but it might as well be canola oil and so I always ask for the teriyaki sauce because that actually makes it edible. As for the orange chicken, you'll get some good pieces but quite a few of them are just off and almost weirdly chewy, gross and it just puts you off of the orange chicken to where you may not even want to eat the rest of the orange chicken. Then there is the honey shrimp which for the most part is pretty good but of course it costs more, although sometimes it's been a little bit chewy. The mushroom chicken, I forget the exact name that usually tastes pretty good but the last time I got it it was basically all mushrooms, and as weird as it sounds I don't really like mushrooms so having just a couple bites of mushroom with a chicken is fine because the flavor of the chicken which yes probably has some of the flavor from the mushroom, actually taste good in this scenario but then I just get 80% of it is mushroom, I couldn't eat it. I could always go somewhere else but I just want something cheap and easy and something that can at least remind me of Chinese American food. And with this I know what to expect for the most part and I don't have to try a new place.

Been here a few times. Staff seems lazy. Stingy portions, about 80% rice and I can literally count how many pieces of meat they put in there.

I love their Orange Chicken but the last few times I've went its been hard as a rock. When I pay for a large Orange chicken I'd like to eat more then just four pieces. It's to over cooked at times.

Normally, I would give other pandas a 5 star. I gave this one a 2 star because the portions (like others have mentioned) are lacking. Entree items are filled about 2/3rd or halfway instead of being topped off. The only good thing is that they are not stingy with the soy sauce packets. Needs improvement before I come back.

First visit. I enjoy eating at Panda Express, but the Ridgecrest location was by far the worst. Chicken was not all breast meat as stated. Rice was not done. Service was good which accounts for 2 stars. Overall disappointing. Prayers for improvement 🤦🏽‍♀️

Drive thru took over 20 mins just to order, no biggie, because I was really craving panda. What was disappointing was my food wasn't very hot, the fried rice tasted bland, and I didn't get everything I ordered. Unfortunately, I was on my lunch break and couldn't go back, and when I tried calling, no answer. I hope they improve because I really like Panda.

I’ve never received such small portions at a Panda Express before. I’ve been here several times and consistently the portions are small. This is supposed to be a side of chow main and two servings of greens. Any other panda I’ve been to gives twice as much food.

Was there about 4:20 in the afternoon. Was about to order walnut shrimp when another service worker came in scooped it up right in front of me before the guy that I was ordering from could even get a scoop. He said sorry it'll be 5 minutes to 10 minutes and they only had two or three entrees out there that were ready to go. Really kind of upset me the food wasn't ready and the drive-thru people were cutting in front of the locking people. Second time I've had a not so good experience. Just hope it's been timing and bad luck but they need extra help in there or something. Like I said the drive-through person cut in front of the person serving me and took the last of the walnut shrimp before I could even get any

We only got half our order after waiting at the drive-through wait slot. We were told that the super greens would be a 5 min wait, which was fine. But I didn't get it in the order. Also ordered mushroom chicken, but only got mushroom, no chicken. Teriyaki chicken didn't come with sauce, so it was pretty bland. cashier was nice tho..

I ordered a family meal like I have many times before the one that comes with two sides and three entrées and normally it comes in a box what I got delivered was less then exceptional. I was unable to split the meal between family members due to dietary needs ( the food was mixed in with other food) and there was very little food. I was told to contact the store and after calling twice with no answer I ordered another meal so that the rest of the family could eat.

Went through the drive thru and Got a double fried rice and double orange chicken plate today. The portions seemed lighter than usual. I won’t name names but I spoke with a server and manager and was explained that the serving is 2 heaping scoop which really isn’t a valid measurement if u don’t mind me saying so myself as well as other employees are not doing the same portions which really means today I didn’t get what I thought was my monies worth while pervious days I got more than my monies worth. Didn’t realize how inconsistent panda here in town can be. Probably should’ve just got my refund and went somewhere else but time was not on my side today. :/

Sat. They apparently close at 9:30pm. I show up at about 8pm and the cook already shutdown his station with below minimum portions of entrees on the line, like maybe 10 servings of 2-3 unpopular items and about 20 portions of rice and chow mein. I used to work food service and I understand closing. Shutting down the cook station 1hr+ is either pure laziness or unacceptable management practice. There should be at least 30 portions of food on the line before closing deciding to shut down the cook station.

Sometimes fast can be too fast, I wish there was more accuracy. The flavor and portions were lacking also missing something didn't taste like other pandas I have been to. Definitely not worth $30 for Two Plates I rather support a local business you should too.

It started with one door to the restaurant locked (left side) so everyone entered from right side. Everyone addressed the issue that the door can't be opened from outside. But since one staff can open it from inside so this issue I guess ignored and people still entered from right door. I came 30 mins before lunch and the service I got really bad compared when I came for dinner when there was hardly guest. This time, number of guests were many and the "couldn't careless" attitudes came from everybody there. So someone/staff with big gold necklace took my order, i showed him the free entree coupon I got and he took my order of 2 entrees and 1 side. I said i want mixed rice and chowmein, kungpao chicken and Beijing beef. He said Beijing beef will take a while, 3 mins after checking with chef. So he asked what free entree I wanted, I said honey walnut shrimp. And while waiting for my Beijing beef the cashier took over. That's when all the bad experience started to happen. He spooned out the last portion of kungpao instead of waiting for the chef to replenish, and put the new Beijing beef. Guess what. Chowmein got cold when I ate it and when I addressed it after paying, I asked is there any microwave since chowmein is cold, he talked to another person/lady looks like from india wearing mask and black shirt/I guess higher level and she ignored it too. I also got problem when paying because the staff with gold necklace didn't hand over properly to the cashier so cashier charged me with bigger plate. I showed him the coupon, he charged me premium, then i showed him there is no additional premium stated on the coupon, he still charged 45 cents and quickly rebated everything and charged me as shown bill attached, plate with 2 entrees and 1 side. He charged small entree and rebated which understandable, every free stuff must be recorded. I was already losing my mood.. The  men standing in kitchen wearing black looked at me twice and I indicated with my eyes something is wrong but nobody care. I walked out restaurant with only eating 4 spoon of my food. I tasted the Beijing beef and honey walnut shrimp which are really good. I tasted kungpao chicken which more like kungpao vegetable because he served me last bit instead of waiting for chef to replenish and the chowmein was tasteless and cold. I just cleaned my table and walked out because I was so upset. Such a bad experience . I mean Ridgescrest is such a small city that sometimes we don't have a choice but to go to same place again and again but please don't take us for granted. I am aware that Panda Express not supposed to have a fine dining service but just humanly service. Or shall I say never come to Panda Express during rush hour otherwise you get a bad service. I don't know.

Yesterday I order in panda express online and after picking up and arriving home. I realized that for my chow mein order they put fried rice for the one with white rice they put fried rice. They did not try to exchange it in the order or let me know they just dump whatever they wanted in there. The portions were really small. And when I say small I mean when I order beef and broccoli I got 5 broccolis and two small pieces of beef. I just hope the food was made in a clean way. Because the way that it was thrown in there looked like they didn’t put any effort in making it look like what a normal plate would look like. I have to say I always liked Panda Express in San Diego but after all the bad experiences in Ridgecrest Panda Express. I won’t be eating there again. I am only saying this no to tear anyone down but as a wake up call. Because when I enter the restaurant nobody greet me. The employees were laughing and talking to each other. I have to say if this is not wrong I don’t know what it is. At least I wouldn’t treat anyone like that at my job. I wish I could get my money back but it was a waste and as much as I used to like Panda Express from San Diego. I won’t be buying in Ridgecrest ever again.

Twice in the past month the food quality has been poor . The first time it was remade. The second time today I ordered 2 family meals and 2 Bigger plates for a family of 7 . For dinner & leftovers. I requested plates and extra sauce. Last time the literally gave me 1 of each sauce for a family meal. This time it was the same thing pretty much. A few of soy sauce and chili sauce. One mandarin sauce and one sweet and sour for 2 family meals and 2 bigger boxes. I’m almost certain it was done intentionally. And this is the second time my son walked to Panda for remade food , to get the missing boxes from our family meals today. It’s ridiculous. The teriyaki chicken was horrible. They always give poor quality food for delivery customers. The Beijing beef is chewy and dry. I believe not giving sauces even after requested was done intentionally . The manager of this location needs to step up and hold their staff accountable. Especially for $113.00

This is the third time I go to the drive-through and they give me some nasty food I never complain but this time I have to the chicken looks old and the beef and broccoli looks so old It not Worth it 🤬🤬

Customer service was great until it came to using the restroom. It’s a fast food restaurant and you can’t give the passcode to a paying customer? On top of that had to wait 10 minutes till someone came over. Kinda ridiculous.

I spent 24$ on food and I swear this restaurant gets stingier and stingier with the portions. They really don’t pack on that rice and entres like before. I swear my dish was only like 75% of the way full. The only reason I even go is because my wife likes Panda Express. Please do better.

Very bad, food is either burned, vegetables not cooked. They don’t give me enough food I have to order a lot to get a decent amount. Sometimes I don’t even get what I ordered. The rice this time was not cooked all the way either. Service is bad. But definitely the food is the worse. I won’t be buying here again. It is more worth my money to drive two hours away from Ridgecrest to get a better quality of food Panda.

Look, I can understand being busy and short staffed. I placed an order online that said it would be don't at 6:19. I showed up at 6:24 and it wasn't done. No problem, I get it. So I asked if I could just get my drinks while I waited. The cashier told me no. I said "I can't have my two medium drinks while I wait?" She replied, "No." It was another 10 minutes after that that we got our food and drinks. That's where they lost my business.

I keep trying to give this location a chance because I like panda but the last FOUR times I have been to this store my order has taken 20-30 minutes after being told it would be a 5 minute wait. It's supposed to be fast food. I could go to a restaurant and get better quality food in less time. When you're in a hurry to do things and go through the drive through you shouldn't have to park and go in a HALF HOUR later to check on your order. If it was the first or even second time this happened I wouldn't be upset but this is a pattern of bad service. AND to top it off after waiting a half hour I have missing, incomplete and inaccurate items in my order. Panda express is a multi BILLION dollar company and yet they can't seem to train employees now to fill a spoon on time. It's really sad that this is the kind of service I have gotten multiple times. When you pay for something and don't get it that is technically stealing. Beware of this location and definitely CHECK ALL of your boxes and packages to make sure you aren't getting ripped off.

The attendant at the drive through scolded me like a child when picked up my prepaid online order. She told me that I wasn’t allowed to proceed through the drive through without telling them in the speaker box first. No one was in the drive through lane so I drove directly to the window. The attendant ignored me for a full minute and then proceeded to scold me. Awful customer service.

Staff was very unwelcoming and food was stale.. not one word was said other than what do you want and what else from the staff. With small portions. Management is terrible. Obviously new to their positions. Watched one of the managers freak out on their employees to clean something again because their supervisor was coming to the restaurant that day. Could’ve asked your staff nicely. Then again why did I witness that interaction?Check it out for yourself, you could tell staff doesn’t want to be there.

Yesterday I order in panda express online and after picking up and arriving home. I realized that for my chow mein order they put fried rice for the one with white rice they put fried rice. They did not try to exchange it in the order or let me know they just dump whatever they wanted in there. The portions were really small. And when I say small I mean when I order beef and broccoli I got 5 broccolis and two small pieces of beef. I just hope the food was made in a clean way. Because the way that it was thrown in there looked like they didn’t put any effort in making it look like what a normal plate would look like. I have to say I always liked Panda Express in San Diego but after all the bad experiences in Ridgecrest Panda Express. I won’t be eating there again. I am only saying this no to tear anyone down but as a wake up call. Because when I enter the restaurant nobody greet me. The employees were laughing and talking to each other. I have to say if this is not wrong I don’t know what it is. At least I wouldn’t treat anyone like that at my job. I wish I could get my money back but it was a waste and as much as I used to like Panda Express from San Diego. I won’t be buying in Ridgecrest ever again.

This is the third time I go to the drive-through and they give me some nasty food I never complain but this time I have to the chicken looks old and the beef and broccoli looks so old It not Worth it 🤬🤬

Everytime I go here the employees are always complaining about their job and give you small portions if your a woman. My mans would get the same thing as me and he would get more.

Staff was very unwelcoming and food was stale.. not one word was said other than what do you want and what else from the staff. With small portions. Management is terrible. Obviously new to their positions. Watched one of the managers freak out on their employees to clean something again because their supervisor was coming to the restaurant that day. Could’ve asked your staff nicely. Then again why did I witness that interaction?Check it out for yourself, you could tell staff doesn’t want to be there.

Twice in the past month the food quality has been poor . The first time it was remade. The second time today I ordered 2 family meals and 2 Bigger plates for a family of 7 . For dinner & leftovers. I requested plates and extra sauce. Last time the literally gave me 1 of each sauce for a family meal. This time it was the same thing pretty much. A few of soy sauce and chili sauce. One mandarin sauce and one sweet and sour for 2 family meals and 2 bigger boxes. I’m almost certain it was done intentionally. And this is the second time my son walked to Panda for remade food , to get the missing boxes from our family meals today. It’s ridiculous. The teriyaki chicken was horrible. They always give poor quality food for delivery customers. The Beijing beef is chewy and dry. I believe not giving sauces even after requested was done intentionally . The manager of this location needs to step up and hold their staff accountable. Especially for $113.00

Customer service was great until it came to using the restroom. It’s a fast food restaurant and you can’t give the passcode to a paying customer? On top of that had to wait 10 minutes till someone came over. Kinda ridiculous.

I spent 24$ on food and I swear this restaurant gets stingier and stingier with the portions. They really don’t pack on that rice and entres like before. I swear my dish was only like 75% of the way full. The only reason I even go is because my wife likes Panda Express. Please do better.

Look, I can understand being busy and short staffed. I placed an order online that said it would be don't at 6:19. I showed up at 6:24 and it wasn't done. No problem, I get it. So I asked if I could just get my drinks while I waited. The cashier told me no. I said "I can't have my two medium drinks while I wait?" She replied, "No." It was another 10 minutes after that that we got our food and drinks. That's where they lost my business.

Very bad, food is either burned, vegetables not cooked. They don’t give me enough food I have to order a lot to get a decent amount. Sometimes I don’t even get what I ordered. The rice this time was not cooked all the way either. Service is bad. But definitely the food is the worse. I won’t be buying here again. It is more worth my money to drive two hours away from Ridgecrest to get a better quality of food Panda.
