Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing my experience at a fantastic restaurant in Río Lagartos, Yucatán! 🇲🇽 Ricón de Río This authentic Mexican restaurant is amazing! Specializing in fresh seafood! 🐟 You can enjoy typical regional dishes and local specialties like pulpe (fish caught that very day), and the tasting boat, perfect for sharing with friends, family, or your sweetheart! This fishing village is located north of Valladolid, on the Gulf of Mexico coast. This family of fishermen welcomes you with a warm, convivial atmosphere and a menu featuring both land and sea (70% seafood) – a true specialty! 🎣 The setting is pleasant, and the staff is attentive and welcoming. A special mention goes to the chef, who prepared excellent dishes for us! 🤤 Thank you to him and the entire Ricón de Río family!! Jorge and the whole team, thank you! 🙏🏽
The food was spectacular, everything was delicious (the best ceviche ever!), good prices, and the drinks were great too. I just felt like they took a little while to bring the food, but they brought snacks while you wait. The carajillo was delicious!

After our boat trip to see the flamingos and crocodiles, we ate at this typical restaurant where the food was fabulous and the atmosphere warm. Thank you to our very charming waiter.
Extremely satisfied. I discovered this place last year and it has consistently exceeded my expectations. Fresh seafood, excellent drinks, and a very family-friendly atmosphere. I recommend ordering "el curandero" and a good ceviche. The seasoning is incomparable and the service is top-notch; they make you feel right at home and you eat like a true local.

The taste was okay. The portions were small. The atmosphere was nice. We stopped off for lunch during a tour.
A terrible restaurant… Nothing homemade, everything mass-produced. The guacamole was bland (surprising for Mexico). The service was also subpar… when we mentioned that we hadn't eaten a dish because it wasn't good, no compensation was offered. Their slogan "from fish to plate" should be changed to "from factory to plate."
