I hadn't had LJS in probably decades. My kids had never been and I found out my wife hadn't either. So we had to go. Got the chicken and fish platter with some clams and shrimp added. Everything tasted exactly as I remembered. The lady up front was super nice and my 18 month old son did a couple laps in the dining room say hi to customers. I hope the franchisee can put some money into the appearance because it's pretty run done. Besides that it was a good experience.

Wife and I enjoy LJS about once a month. We've been frequenting this location for about the last 4 or 5 months. We were driving up to the location in Killeen and decided to keep it closer to home. We were pleasantly surprised that this location's food preparation was just as good if not better than the Killeen location. Food 4 stars Staff were friendly and helpful most of the time. Other times its been lackluster and monotone and un inspired when speaking. Granted, I get it... but the guest experience whether you want to be at work or not. Should be a priority. Service 3 stars Atmosphere is definitely 80s - 100% this place hasn't been updated since Ronald Reagan was president! Floors need attention, tables as well. Its not that their not wiped off or the floors aren't mopped. Its more like they used the mop to wipe the tables, and left over frier grease to mop the floors. Atmosphere 2 stars Even with the down sides for service and atmosphere. We keep going back because the food is always hot and fresh.

The cod fillets are fantastic, as is the cole slaw. I ordered the shrimp and fish combo meal and upgraded to the cod for $2. The initial employee was having a problem understanding what I was asking, so her coworker politely stepped in to offer the upgrade. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Ordered 2pc fish combo, it was around 6:30 pm. 2 other customers inside besides me, I decided to come by here for some memories. Food was fresh, dining room was clean and the fountain area was clean. Young crew working but doing a good job! Will be back

I hadn't been to a LJS in years and was not familiar with their current menu. I have a gluten sensitivity, so I have to watch what I eat. The first cashier we encountered was very unconcerned with my dietary restrictions and impatient when I asked about certain ingredients in the food. A second cashier attempted to take the order but her attitude was as bad as the first. Lastly, a third cashier chimed in and was extremely helpful. (Third time's a charm 😂) We asked her to take over the transition. The original cashier and another coworker went in the back talking very about us to the point the cashier who took over the transition had to excuse herself, go in the back and ask them to stop! I'm super terrible with names. The older black woman (3rd cashier) stepped in to help and was extremely knowledgeable about the ingredients and menu items; turning what started out as an uncomfortable experience to a very pleasant one. Her smile and tone made a huge difference which calmed everyone down. We dined inside. Upon leaving we had the pleasure of speaking with the woman again and the cook. I'm happy to say they have 3 new amazing grilled fish and shrimp menu items. I had the southwest shrimp bowl! Awesome choice and filling. I will go again.....but it will definitely depend on who is working.

Just left there at 5:20 & dealt with Rebecca's ignorant ssa. She was so rude and disrespectful. I asked what sides they had and her response was "read it in the bottom corner" problem is the sun was bright on it so I couldn't read it. I asked for more tartar sauce and she said "you didn't even check your bag." My daughter then asked her and she told me t daughter "it's none of your business and I wasn't talking to you and I don't have time for that" We told the manager and she apologized but this girl should be fired quickly.

This location is owned by someone who has given up. From the outside, it looks abandoned. The only signs of life, the cars in the parking lot. Inside, the floors are greasy and slick. The restroom was filthy - not in a we were busy kind of way but rather in a we've forgotten that room was there sort of way. The male who approached the register was rude. He failed any greeting - just walked up and stared at me. While I used my please and thank you's, common decency escaped him. Just really disappointing all around.

This is how I picture purgatory to be. The food was almost decent but the experience of everything else ruins it. The customers and the workers all looked miserable. The building had permanent grime on everything. A lot of sticky and wet surfaces. The have cardboard menu signage, most places today have digital. How odd. I went to use the rest room after eating, and almost puked due to the smell of the rest room (it smelled of fish and feces). I will never eat at another long John's silver again, as I can still smell the bathroom (it haunts me).

Just order through doordash since we at work. We did not receive the sweet tea, no forks, spoon or napkins but we got the straw. Also salmon was dry and overcooked terrible terrible service.

me and my fiancé went here to get the new lobster bites but it turned out to be shrimp, removed the coating from the bites they were all shrimp not even one piece lobster, then after we show them, they said no they are lobster. It’s like we never had lobster or shrimp, they fooling people, and they said we’re not gonna refund because you had majority of them, yeah because we trusted you though it is lobster then figured out it doesn’t taste like lobster at all and we put the rest in trash, and none of them even upset or a shame and never said sorry, worst customer service ever, we will not come back here.

I have already contacted corporate and the Regional manager got back to me, asking for a receipt to confirm location and time unfortunately husband said the receipt was long gone and in the trash. I never went to complain because I know how the fast food industry is Stress full it is already. Got fish and chicken. One of the pieces was fairly raw, which is why I’m making this post to make others aware, and the rest of my chicken looked as the grease hadn’t been cleaned out with the specs on my food. Just wanted to make everyone aware and be careful what you are eating here.
