Avis sur Mill Street Cafe Round Top
Maybe it the amazing fog filled fields of the drive here, or the empty serene streets of round top that affected my mood, I couldn’t help myself but give an extraordinary review to this place and the people that run the Cafe. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not just my mood, but the ambience truly dseseves that hats off. The subtle lo-fi music, such hospitable ladies and their welcoming smiles, great home-catered premium food, great tea helped my mood to blossom even more. And, the cafe opens at 7 am. Which to me is a win for early morning road travels. The quaint little cafe welcomed me with its warmth and beauty. Menu is limited but I knew the reason why. The food is simple and perfect. The beverages are great bouts of flavor and energy. At around 7:40 AM, the crowd started bustling in. Must be pretty famous. Felt obvious. Just a great start of the weekend for me. Thank you MSC!!!
Amazing spot to drink great coffee and enjoy a nice bite. I tried the banana bread which was full of flavor and was fair priced. I also tried an açaí bowl which had delicious toppings but the consistency of the base of the bowl had too much ice. Still super tasty. The cashier/server did a magnificent job at taking orders while getting the food out in a timely manner! Loved the place
Mill Street Cafe in Round Top is a true gem, worth the scenic hour-and-a-half drive from Houston! The iced latte was perfectly crafted—smooth, bold, and refreshing. Their peanut banana toast was a delightful surprise, with the ideal balance of creamy, nutty, and sweet flavors. The friendly staff made the experience even better. A must-visit for a relaxing day trip and delicious treats!
A must try coffee shop and snacks . Always fresh and the staff are always on point . Great variety of drinks , with owners that care . My favorite is their avocado toast or their nutter butter toast . Another great thing about this place is their pastry /cookie selection is always full and fresh. Outside is a garden paradise , do yourself a favor and make this your new go to spot
Mill Street Cafe is such a gem in Round Top — cozy atmosphere, super friendly staff, and the coffee is top-tier. Loved the homemade baked goods. Perfect for a chill morning or midday pick-me-up.
Before the shops open today, I stopped in for a cup of coffee and discovered a gluten free brownie, so I had one for breakfast with a latte! (Don't tell!). It was delicious and this shop is so darn cute!!! From coffee to craft beer and wine, charcuterie box and avocado toast, please come and make this little shop the huge success it deserves to be!!!!
Good food, good service and a very convenient location, on the Round Top, Texas Courthouse Square at the intersection of Rte 237 and East Mill Street. And right across the street from Mandito's Tex-Mex. The cafe has a clean, neat, somewhat modern interior and is wheel chair accessible. The Apple Turnovers are really good.
Mill Street is a beautiful and delicious spot to grab breakfast, lunch and a great coffee etc. the space is stunning and their staff is so friendly. I love the ice coffee with the sweet cream & their Caprese sandwich. Great place to stop and recharge while shopping!
I love this little place. As a local it's awesome to have good places that are open most the week. The food is nice and tea is great! Super cute inside. The pastries are great. Chai is nice also.
Cute lil Coffee shop with great coffee and amazing service. Must visit place in Round top for Coffee.
The most darling little coffee shop! I loved the cappuccino, lemon poppy scone, and the goat cheese, fig, and honey toast!!

Just visited this place for the first time. Loved it. One of the best matcha's I've had. Will be coming back.
It was quick, got our orders perfect the first time. I love the avocado toast with bacon and egg. My latte was just the way I like it. I highly recommend it.
We were happy to find an open place for early risers. Coffee is great. The croissants and cookies were excellent. The cook and batista were very friendly. The inside and outside seating is beautiful.
I love this coffee shop! They have tea, coffee, sweets, sandwiches and more! Best of all, they are dog friendly with lots of outside seating too. The staff are super nice!
The sourdough bread with goat cheese, fig jam, pistachios and honey was the perfect lite lunch. And the orange cranberry scones are just delish!! And such a sweet cozy cafe!
I love the Mill St cafe in Round Top! The coffee is the best and the scones are perfection! The royal cookie and gluten free chocolate oatmeal cookie is the best I have ever eaten anywhere (and I am not gluten free)! The girls that work there are so sweet and friendly even when the show has it packed! This place is such a bonus to the community.

I popped in her driving between La Grange and Houston since the other coffee shop I wanted to go to closed at noon today. While the setting was lovely the coffee isn’t good enough for the cost. I ordered the special cold brew a banana dream (I believe it’s called) and it rang up to 7.50$ and then I added on one cookie (Royal) bringing me close to 11$. The cookie was good too sweet though to fully enjoy the flavors in it, but the coffee truly lacked anything special for the price. A latte maybe you could get away charging that price for, but a cold brew being 7.50$ is ridiculous.

We stopped by while in town…ordered a coffee with oat creamer & raspberry syrup, and my daughter had a specialty drink off of their menu…also a hot coffee. Both had zero flavor, extremely watered down. We went to the counter to comment and were given a shot of espresso and extra flavor, but made no difference at all. Tasted like they were out of coffee and reusing grounds. It was awful! I don’t know who’s making these reviews but it was the worst coffee I’ve ever had. Very disappointing.
