So much good stuff here but my favs are chocolate croissant, ham & cheese, & salted roll. When the salted rolls are fresh out of the oven, it’s a glorious thing. 🫶😊
Love this bakery, the variety is awesome! I don't need a cake yet but soon! Had the taro bun and the rolls, they were yummy. Also, had the ham and cheese bun, I ate that right away, it was good but I should've heated it, it would've been better. The friend I was with, also had the ham and cheese, liked it a lot.
I love coming here! The hot dogs and sausages are very good. The dessert pastries are also very good. The strawberry cream puff is delicious. The employees are very friendly and quick. This place is such a gem.
Modern & quite luxurious, in my opinion! All their options are delicious. You can from choose savory or sweet, to plain and simple. They also have drinks, boba and coffee, which is a total plus. Service is great and everything is always made fresh, I love that about this place. It's a nice stop for a snack or a treat and you can grab an awesome drink to go with it too. All you have to do (if you're planning on grabbing a lot) is: when you go inside, grab a white tray, walk around choose your items, and line up to pay. It's that simple! There's limited seating but tons of walking space inside.
Can't beat these prices! Such a wide variety of treats, and all so neatly displayed! This is easily one of the best bakeries I've ever been to. So glad I stopped in passing through to try the tiramisu and oat milk mocha, they were delicious and in my budget, which isn't a common combo to find. I always appreciate places like this. (atmosphere is 4 stars because the view is a parking lot and the layout is a bit odd with very little room to sit inside)
First time here and I absolutely love it! They have a nice variety of breads and goodies. It was very clean inside. I ordered a Zebra Oolong Milk Tea, Hawaiian Chicken Bread pastry, and a Hokkaido egg tart. Each item was delicious. The prices weren't too bad either. I can definitely see myself coming here time and time again. I give it 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 emojis.
Variety of pastries with decent prices! I love their rose tea drink, it is so unfortunate that rose tea drinks aren't more widely available in this area. The seating in the lobby is comfortable, even the outside patio seating allows for one to sit there and take their time to enjoy their food and drink. Unfortunately no restrooms onsite
Great self service bakery/drink shop. Fresh pastries are made constantly throughout the day. Gets crowded at times, don't be in a hurry because the checkout lane is slow due to the fact that they individually wrap each piece of item. Carry out or dine it style cafe. Located in front of SF Market shopping center with plenty of parking and easy to see from the main road.
Update Feb 2026: I came a couple weeks ago. I got the same potato croquettes. Love those. And a sea salt caramel coffee. I wasn't a fan of the coffee. The fake caramel flavor wasnt good. Otherwise, still a decent place. *********************** Came here on a whim! Loved the baked goods. I ordered a mango custard bun, chocolate hazelnut muffin, egg tarts, cheese dog, potatoes croquette, red bean moon cake with yoke, and a iced Vietnamese coffee. My total was around $24. The coffee was good, but I am a coffee person and try many different kinds, this wasnt my favorite Vietnamese coffee ive had. Ive tried the potato croquette, which was super yummy and the red bean moon cake... that was a solid NO for me. Especially the yoke. Not flavors I ended up being okay with. Haha Cant wait to try the rest! It was busy when I was there. Its a semi tight space. Grab a tray and pile on the baked goods you want, then make your way to the register to order a drink I dont recommend showing up with a group thinking you'll sit there. Just a few seats available.
I have only really bought the single item things here. Those are reasonably priced for the quality you get. Other bakeries that sell similar items often charge more with very few exceptions. The larger items like whole cakes, etc. can be pricey for their size, but the quality seems to be there. I like that they have more variety with the ube, matcha, etc. flavors in some things, those can be hard to find for decent prices. Everything always tastes super fresh and never close to being stale at all.
We were finally able to come to this Cafe on a weekday before the crowd. The place is designed well. One would easily know to grab a tray and tongs and choose and take their baked goods of choice. The items we got were really delicious and the drinks were too. The staff here are awesome, willing to answer anyone's questions at any time.
I'll start by saying that I do love this place and the bakery makes exceptional items. However I always ask if they can put less ice in the Vietnamese iced coffee and they always say no but this is the reason why. I haven't even taken one sip out of this before I got back to the house only to realize we're missing 1/8 of the drink. Maybe that's where the number 85 comes from you only get 85% of what you're paying for... Nonetheless I'll still come back but I wish they would be able to accommodate their clients small requests like this....
My first time experience at 85C Bakery Cafe was not what I expected at all. Overall average, nothing too special or anything out of the ordinary. Not too many selections on the display case and the price is too expensive for a single item purchase. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because of their quality and price related inquiry cost.
The bread products were great, but between us we bought 6 cake slices and none or them felt it tasted fresh, especially the toppings, a rotting strawberry hidden by a chocolate sliver and the fluffy white toppings which was liking to dried out marshmallows
Visited 85 degree bakery in Sacramento at 65th street close to Walmart on florin road on 10/1/25. Poor customer service. Cashiers were rude. Annabell girl at the counter didn’t want to make it a pleasant experience for me. They forced me to get a slice of cake in a close box. When i asked her to leave it Open or in a plate or just on a paper towel. I was holding my sleeping baby 2 yrs old with one hand and was hard for me to open the box with other hand. They did even want to help to open that box after i paid. Even though they asked me if its for here or to go. I explained them for Here, i m paying to taste test that slice of cake and buy more. But not convenient at all. Bad custom service.
Getting tired of the post Covid approach to business. Some customer service reps are wearing ugly blue masks. All of the seating and tables in the prior pictures are gone. There is only one (1) table that seats four (4) people max. The atmosphere is more of a take and go mill. Fast paced and hectic. The service was really rushed somewhat short and to the point. Not the reps fault. The coffee (mocha) was burnt, the latte was decent. Otherwise, the various cakes that we tried were very decent, some were really good. Unfortunately some that looked different were not very different as far as the substance of the cake is concerned. Not a great place to go a simple date. But perhaps it’s a decent place to stop by on your way to a decent place for a date.
My girlfriend preordered and paid for a birthday cake for her friend 10 days in advance to be picked up on Feb 10th 2026. She got a confirmation number over the phone but when her friend went to pick up the cake on the day of, the Sacramento location couldn't find the order. Her friend waited 40 minutes to find out that she won't be getting a cake for her birthday. 85C later contacted my girlfriend to tell her that they will have the birthday cake ready the next day. What is the point of having a birthday cake the day after the birthday celebration? What is the point of having a reservation if you don't reserve the cake? They didn't even offer a refund for not having the cake ready that day. One a side note, the option for reaching the company is blocked by a captcha the doesn't work. It's like they are purposely preventing customers from reaching their management to file a complaint.
