Avis sur Fieldwork Sacramento
Tasty brews, great ambience, reasonable prices ! I will make this a special spot for future events, didn't have their pizza or appetizers but in the future I will be doing so! They all sound great!
Delicious! Pizzas, Cesar Salad, and Pretzel were our food choices. We had several beers resulting in a terrific lunch. The staff is efficient and charming, even brought water and treats for our dog! To be fair, this was not our first time at Fieldwork nor will it be our last.
The beer is what you’ve come to expect from Fieldwork - lots of diversity, something for everyone, and all pretty solidly executed. The pizza is great - light and airy crust, good toppings, nice char… And the space is nice - two bar options (pub vs sports) lots of indoor seating options, and a decent patio.
Update: this is a must go to if in Sacramento! Just came back a second time and it is as good as I remember! Night maker is an incredible oatmeal stout! The ordering app system is excellent and the staff very efficient. Original: Being from San Diego I am spoiled with great breweries everywhere. My search in Sacramento landed me at Fieldwork Brewing and it was fantastic! The Haze Craze (hazy / IPAs flight) was great and the Hail Mary Detroit style pizza was absolutely amazing!! I'm not a fan of Pina Colada but the galaxy juice was a tasty beer! Favorite was the Hazy Train, although the King Citra was a close second.
I'm a fan of their online ordering system, it made the process easy and you don't have to wait for your server to come around. The beer was great, with a little surprise. If you order a flight it'll come as half pours... I got more than I bargained for lol. The pretzel was good as well, but the beer cheese left a little too be desired. It was good, better than your average bar-food cheese, but didn't keep up with the pretzel. An overall good experience, definitely stop by if you're in the area or looking for for local brews.
This is a lovely brewery in The Handle of Sacramento. They have outdoor dining, safety protocol in place, and lots of plants. The beer is cold and delicious. I had two very different, delicious pilsner beers. The husband had a flight of dark beers. The coconut one is like drinking suntan lotion, but in a really good way. The flavor was complex and warm. With an almost macaroon vibe. The Shakes the Brown dark was smooth and sweet. I highly recommend their pizza. The crust is paper thin, really tender and very delicious. We had the:delivery boy',. and I'd have it again. They have great salads. We had the kale salad. Normally, kale is not my jam, but this was great, fresh, crunchy, and dressed perfectly. Solid choice on a Sunday afternoon.
Great beer and great pizza. It’ll be my new go-to spot when I’m in Sacramento. Service was also fantastic.
We recently hosted a pre-wedding gathering at Fieldwork and had a perfect experience! We reserved the communal table area and had exceptional service throughout our event. The food and drinks were great, highly recommend Fieldwork for your next event.
We have been coming here for their sour beer for years, but never sat down to enjoy dinner. We ordered the Glamorosa Vegan Pizza and it was pretty good, if not a tiny bit boring. However, we had plenty of space to ourselves, and enjoyed our drinks immensely.
What an Innovative Brewery. I had styles of beer here that felt completely reinvented. I think my favorite was the Tactical Hatchet. But I also appreciated that they had such detailed Brewing notes available on all of the tables to read about everything I was trying. When I got a flight I noticed that they had a style of beer I had never even heard of before, an English mild. While not my favorite, it was really fun to see a brewery trying new things. I will definitely be back.
Great place. Fast and friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Nicely decorated. Always clean. Flights available with 6 beers. You can earn points with every purchase and redeem for discounts.
Large group dinner with no reservation. Good beer, good food, great staff.
We very much enjoyed Fieldwork Brewing Company's beer offerings! I'm a fan of malty lagers and stronger dark beers and Fieldwork has a great selection of them to choose from. Their flights are generous and they offer growlers on the spot. I definitely will be coming back soon for more growlers!
The best beer/food/location combo in Midtown! Their hazy IPAs are the best! Maiden & Priest black lager is a close second! 🤘🏼
Beautiful relaxing place to hang out with family friends .. pets too.. pizzas were amazing and the wines were mind blowing.. loved the fireplaces
Excellent place! Originally it was just the front bit before they expanded. More of a tasting room - now its a great big place with lots of seating and food! Beers are amazing. C'mon its Fieldwork!!! They continually have rotating style and varieties. Their sides and pizzas are so good. A must visit! Parking can be a bit of a challenge depending on the day and time you visit - but its worth it.
Amazing beers and food! They have a large selection of brews, including seltzers, and their apps and pizzas are really tasty. Very kid and pet friendly and staff are very friendly and service is excellent. Worth trying are their Detroit-style pizzas, which are a highlight, but I'd say even their regular pizzas are worth the trip.
The beers and food were fantastic. We got several flights, garlic fries, wings, a margherita pizza, and a Hail Mary pizza. The outdoor seating area was nice. I liked that we could sit outside and use the QR code on the table to create a group order and order from our seats
Great new food menu and as always great rotation beer! They recently expanded now there’s a lot of room to eat. The bar has a great chef with a lot of interesting tasty food. The pizza is pretty amazing! Do you have to try the pizza with the tater tots on it. Yummmm! The reason I like this bar is because you won’t have the same drink twice. They’re always experimenting and the beer changes all the time. They also cater to non-beer drinking crowds. They have a very good one list. The staff is always upbeat and friendly.
Got a flight of all their IPA’s. They were all really good! Gamma and Space Maze were probably my favorites. Least favorite was “Picked Last”, go figure lol. Nice vibes, order and pay at your table, great beers! Will come back again.
Big area. Hit it when it opened on a Fri and wasn't busy. Nice outdoor seating. Beer were good, especially the hefe.

I really like their pizza options here. They were so good and interesting that I downloaded the menu and made them at home for my wife. The best standout was the sausage with the shishito peppers, but I made all of them at home and they are all great
Great spot for lunch. The beers were very good. The staff was friendly and offered great recommendations. They have QR codes on the tables to order. We sat down and were debating which beer to start with. It had been about 10 minutes since we came in. I really appreciate the staff walked over to check that we weren't having any trouble with the QR code.

Beer: 5 🌟 Rootbeer 1 🌟 (very weak that gave a watered down taste) Pretzel: 4 🌟 (little heavy on the salt) Pizza: 1 🌟 (contained the lightest layer of pizza sauce I've ever seen making the pizza very flavorless. I had to ask for a side of sauce to dunk the pizza in and even that didn'thelp much. The crust was very good though. I would rate 3 stars but since it's a brewing company and not a restaurant I can't be too upset. Will definitely be going back, just skipping the pizza next time.
Cute little brewery in downtown Sac Nice feature of beers. Loved their double ipa, not so much their hazy ipa (but forgot the names). What we got (food): walk in the park pizza, chicken wings -- pizza was SO good for brewery food. Would recommend -- pass on the wings Would definitely come back when I'm in town! Has outdoor seating w/ about 8 tables and plenty of indoor seating. Came on a Sunday night and only about 6-10 tables; probably busier on weekends
I've been to Fieldwork so many times at their Berkeley, San Leandro, San Mateo, and Napa locations. But this was my first time visiting the Sacramento location. I hada flight, and they all tasted really good. This location has a really large space, and they have a kitchen. The only downside was the wait time. It was quite long, even though there were not many customers at the time. There were only two staff members pouring the drinks.
This place is located in a nice spot next to several good restaurants. The space is nice - well decorated, ample space and good number is high and regular tables. I also like their QR code system to order beverages and food. I only tried the Pilsner and it was very good. My wife had a Rose wine made by them and she enjoyed. The food was good but not great. For brewery food is OK. The pizza was OK but needed a bit more flavor. Overall, good spot worth visiting.
Some good beer options here and the street has been pedestrianized so extra room to enjoy the in an outside space. You do have to order food and the peppers turned out to be tasty and hot. Also took beer to go and really enjoyed the Rasselbock German bock lager later.
Fieldwork Brewing Company has been on my brewery bucket list for quite awhile. I had high expectations, from reading the reviews and it being recommended by a close Instagram friend. The recent remodel gives the brewery a spacious, industrial feel. The patio would be a great place to sit during the warmer months. It has a romantic, intimate ambiance with low hanging lights and landscaping. The staff was amazing. They brought countless samples of beer for me to try, until I found exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend bar games or activities for customers that want to do more than watch sports on TV. Also, a couch or two for the couples that want to get cozy. The location makes Fieldwork Brewing a great date spot. First meet for a beer. If you'd like to prolong the date, there are plenty of places close by for live music or entertainment. Parking can be an issue. You may have to walk a couple of blocks to find a parking spot. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY
Fast online ordering and service from your table. Pioneers and Pirates beer is not tart nor sweet; moderately bitter. Walk in the Park pizza has fresh crisp veggies, soft crust, and no apparent salt. 1/29/2023: still dog friendly. One stout slightly sweet, one slightly tart. Both were below 6%. Brussels sprouts were cooked until completely soft (no crunch).

Popped in for a quick flight on a sunday afternoon. To be honest, not a fan. I hate to say that because there's something magical about a brewery that just gets one of their many options down right. But I took a flight that included the Bloom service, the kellerreis, The olifant, and the fun-but-cool named Flying with Ghosts beer and unfortunately wasn't impressed. With such detail written about every beer I expected the drink to also be as enjoyable or pleasant to enjoy on a nice summer day. I think the one one drink that put the final nail on the coffin was the saddlebred. It had a weird aroma before even drinking it and just didn't taste all that good. Apart from the food and drinks, staff was welcoming and I can't foul them on that, but I do believe the whole point of going to a brewery/drinking a flight of what they offer is to enjoy the beverages more than the staff, and I have to say; I drank it, but Id definitely look somewhere else for more enjoyable and delicious drinks.
Decent but not amazing. Let's start with the order - one pizza, one pizza, pizza bread, baked goat cheese with bread and finally 2 flights of 6 beers. $88 after tip, and probably we over ordered a bit. Easily one more person could have eaten with us. So let's say about 30$ a person. The goat cheese was nice, the pizza bread is good. Nice texture, moist, and chewiness. The pizza was a bit odd, we got the brussel sprouts, bacon and pesto one. When the bit had pesto, it was very good, but without the strength of the basil and many bites had no pesto since it was sparsely dolloped, those nights were overwhelmingly tasting of unseasoned brussel sprouts. The beers - I don't remember the exact names but the theme was pretty consistent here. Their dark malty beers were the best, the sours are unique fun and tasty. The IPA, Pale Ales and the one Belgium I tasted were not great. Low 2/5 for me. The double oat stout was very good. 4.5/5 The best part was seeing other people with Dogs come in which let us know they're dog friend. I can see us coming back in with the pup for an afternoon beer and a pizza. We will definitely be sticking to the traditional ones next time though - pepperoni or margarita. The specialty was poorly executed. Both me and my partner left half our flights unconsumed - which for us is very rare.

Been coming here for a long time and have always loved it. Unfortunately they recently shrunk the size of all of their salads but kept the price the same. What is one of the best Caesar salads in Sacramento is now not really worth the price. Beer is always solid at least, we just won't be eating the food much anymore which is a shame.

Food is not very good unfortunately. Had the pizza and some appetizers and they are nothing of note. The patio is nice though overcrowded with seating. Beers are ok but why do they always have like 7 IPAs and not a single dark beer? Lots of better options for beer nearby and better breweries within walking distance.
The pizza looks a lot better than it actually taste. The ranch is not good at all either. I got a flight and a pizza for almost $50. You are telling me that 18 oz of just okay beer and a pizza is worth $50, you are crazy. You are truly paying for the location on this one. I do not recommend it. Go get yourself a 12pk and pizza delivered to your house for less than this. Good luck to anyone that tries this place, super over priced and not worth it at all.

This is the worst pizza I have ever had for 32 dollars. 4 slices of pizza. We added pepperoni and basil, a side of ranch and a side of sauce and it was the driest flavorless greasy pizza. I can’t believe I spent $32 on four slices never ever going back and it’s going down on my books as one of the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I will use this pizza to compare every other pizza I’ve had. frozen pizza from Digiorno would’ve been better. Save your money, go literally anywhere else.

This was my 4th time being mistreated here and I’m pretty frustrated. I’m a part of a group that gathers 15-20 people every 2 weeks and loves coming to Fieldwork: great food, great drinks, atmosphere is great. The problem is I have celiacs, and nothing on their menu is safe for me to eat or I’ll be in the emergency room. I don’t want to keep my friends from coming there, so when they choose Fieldwork, they all order lots of food & drinks and I just walk next door and get myself some Chipotle that I can safely eat. Every single time I’ve done that, a staff member has come by and informed me that I cannot eat that here, telling me I need to throw it out. One time the rude employee cited my burrito bowl as a health code violation. When I explain that I literally can’t eat anything off their menu, I’m given dirty looks and told not to do it again. One time when I was upfront & proactive and let them know my situation (and that all my friends would be ordering a lot), the employee said “I’ll allow it this time but if my boss comes in, she’ll either make you throw your food away or kick you out.” Pretty sure I got said boss tonight who came up to our table, was rude about it and then gave me dirty looks the rest of the night. I’m done being understanding & dealing with them being so rude. They didn’t have to make any special accommodations or cook anything differently, literally all they had to do is not be a dick to someone who cannot eat their food but still encourages their 20 friends to come patronize their restaurant. I’ll be letting my friends know Fieldwork isn’t a welcome place for our gatherings anymore.
