Just stopped in on my way to work. Not bad, but I don't think I will go back. Beans we're too thick, I mean it warmth bad but not my cup of tea. Got a super small side of guacamole maybe it was 2oz for $4. Not worth it.

Sweet tea not sweet enough for Texas. Papa ranchera tacos too greasy. Country and egg was perfect according to my pal. Bean and cheese had a good Bean to cheese ratio according to said pal.

Walked in to have lunch with my family and ladies were just giving us attitude and ugly looks, very disrespectful and not welcoming what so ever and we asked if they were still open and they told us yes so we walked out!

The barbacoa plate was about a quarter of fat chunks. What was left wasn't enough to fill a tortilla, even with pico lining the bottom half of the taco. The al pastor plate was creamy. Not exactly the texture you want for al pastor. The creaminess was due to the excessive, bland tomato sauce that the meat was swimming in. The tortillas had a paper-like quality, both in texture and flavor. The service, which started out great, quickly went downhill. We asked for a Dr. Pepper, was served a Coke. Once the food was placed on the table, we never saw the waitress again. No drink refills. Never checked on. WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH $34!!!

I have been a regular here for at least 3 years. I just left there and may never go back. It might seem petty but I eat there regularly, and never mind how things don't always add up. But I get in ,sit down and get a message realizing I need tot return to work. So I quickly ordered a side of rice, and beans and chips ,for two reasons I am trying to eat little to no meat and it would be quick and in expensive. I mean who wants to pay a lot for rice and beans. The menu states 1.99 each for rice and beans. I go to pay and then grab my food on the way out. I did slightly catch the price I was charged which was $14.46, but figured there is a higher charge for to go's , but since I've worked in the food industry for so long I know this usually is reinforced by the to-go containers being larger as well. well I get back to work and find two very small 6 oz containers of rice and beans and a 4 oz container of salsa and the worst chips I have ever had with them!!!! They were made in the oldest oil I have ever tasted unfortunately. I am so unhappy. I did the math and realize I had to spend $4 on each container of rice and beans and I am not sure about the chips because I can only assume they were a few bucks followed by a gratuity charge!!!!! I am pretty sure I will never go back. Not something they should want since I even hold lunch meetings there. Sad because I had my favorites but it definitely is not worth it to check my receipts every time just to be sure I am not getting robbed.

I don't usually leave reviews but I came in here simply to get out of the heat because it's 98° and I was just trying to get a cup of water and maybe get some AC and I was told by the staff I would have to wait outside because I didn't have a dollar for a glass of water. Almost on the verge of dehydration and a dollar is going to keep them from saving my life

I ordered the carne guisada special and unfortunately found a hair in my food. I sent it back and decided to try the fideo loco instead — only to find another hair on the plate. While the second one wasn’t directly in the food, it was still unsettling and completely unacceptable. This raises serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen. It seems like someone may not be wearing a hairnet or following basic food safety protocols. I highly recommend the staff take a food handling course or refresh their training on proper sanitation. I won’t be returning And will be reporting to local health departments.

Tip Trap! The food was ok - nothing spectacular. Service was fine. The real issue was regarding paying. The checkout person asked if I wanted to add a tip - I said no thanks, I’m leaving cash. My bill was over $13 for a $9 meal - when i looked at the receipt, they had automatically added a 20% tip. Thankfully I had not already left cash on the table. Will not return. Check your receipt and don’t fall for their scam!

This is 100% a tip trap. Stay away!! Please look for another Mexican restaurant for your meal. Food was not great (salty). Besides this, at the time I paid my check, the cashier did ask me if I wanted to leave a tip, but she never said that a tip was already added to my check, so I left more tip on top of what I was already charged (20% tip). After I saw my receipt totaling $16.25 (for an enchiladas plate of $10.99) I went back and talked to the lady to make her aware that they should be clear and inform about the tip already charged and then they can ask if I/we wish to leave an additional tip. I am not going back here.

Tip trap! The food was good if a bit salty, and the service was friendly and quick. The surprise comes later when you look over your receipt. They automatically add a 20% tip, and then ask you if you want to add a tip. The final tip I ended up leaving (without intending to was 40%. This is abusive and in bad faith. This was not an error as everyone in our group had the same experience. I will not be back.

Whatever you do please go on Thursday ls, I've noticed that on that day the owner is off , and I say this because she over charges if you don't pay attention, so please double check your receipt before you leave, she always adds tips even if you already left it on the table. Please check your receipt or she will continue to do it.
