Came here for a nice little lunch after a stroll on the riverwalk and Chris our server was super attentive and very friendly! Also, if you want a really cool experience, you have to come here! There are fish tanks everywhere. The food was really good but the Service was exceptional!!!!!
Amanda was our waitress and she is fantastic! She made our entire night and made my nieces 13th birthday celebration even more special. She was attentive, caring and fast. If you come to Rainforest as for Amanda as your waitress.
This was the 1st time I have ever visited. Us ladies were on our 1st outing for 2026 and we were blessed to have Keith as our server. He helped me to make decisions and I loved my meal. Keith was very knowledgeable and so sweet. We would definitely go back there if he was our server.
I took 60 5th graders and 10 adults to the restaurant recently and we had an incredible experience thanks to the manager, and our waiters Sam & Court! Our students were seated immediately, and served within minutes. We had the whole second floor to ourselves and even though we were late to our reservation the manager was understanding. Our waiters were incredibly friendly, and helpful to our students. We will definitely be making plans to visit again next year.
The food was amazing! The atmosphere was so much fun there was great music. Our waiter KAVON was AWESOME!! I’m definitely coming back!! Thank you for giving my 8 year old a great birthday experience.
Everything was great!. We came here for my daughter's 6th birthday and they did a great job of making her feel special. Eric with the cool earrings took care of us and my family had nothing but good things to say about the service. Attentive, respectful, understanding and overall a great attitude. If your looking for a great time for your young child's birthday then this is a great place.
K.C. Did a great job serving us. He was patient and kept the refills coming ! Food was good. Enjoyed my steak and shrimp. Shrimp was a little overcooked. But the bourbon glaze was good. My students enjoyed the atmosphere a lot.
Ida was amazing in accommodating us! Her warm smile and kindness to my kid was outstanding. The staff was patient with us when my child got overstimulated. They happily let us move to the bar for our meal. Our server, David, made sure our gluten allergy was handled with care. I highly recommend eating here! The staff is so kind and do not make you feel bad for needing extra help!
We had a fun and memorable experience. There were 4 adults in our group. We all ordered different meals, all were great tasting, big portions, freshly cooked/hot, we even took some home. Our server Mary Muñiz was outstanding! Her energy and positive attitude made for a great time and memorable experience.
There’s something unexpectedly magical about walking into Rainforest Cafe. From the moment the doors close behind you, the outside world fades away and you’re transported into a lush, glowing jungle filled with towering trees, cascading waterfalls, and the distant rumble of thunder. It’s not just dinner — it’s an experience. The atmosphere is what truly sets Rainforest Cafe apart. The animatronic animals come to life in the most delightful way — elephants trumpet, gorillas chatter, and tropical birds call from the canopy above. Every few minutes, a thunderstorm rolls through the “rainforest,” complete with flashing lightning and rolling thunder. It’s immersive without being overwhelming, and it creates a sense of childlike wonder that’s hard to find in most restaurants. The decor is thoughtfully detailed. From the twinkling starry ceiling to the glowing fish tanks and vine-covered walls, every corner feels intentional. It’s the kind of place where you can’t help but look around between bites just to take it all in. The food itself is comforting and crowd-pleasing. The menu offers a wide variety — from burgers and steaks to seafood and tropical-inspired dishes — making it easy for families or groups to find something they love. While the flavors are familiar and approachable, the presentation often carries the playful jungle theme, adding to the overall fun. What truly elevated our visit, though, was our waiter, Daniel. From the moment he greeted us, he brought such warmth and genuine enthusiasm to the table. He was attentive without hovering, patient with questions, and made thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be spot on. Even during the bustling dinner rush, he made us feel like we were his top priority. His friendly personality blended perfectly with the fun, adventurous vibe of the restaurant — he didn’t just serve our meal, he enhanced the entire experience. Rainforest Cafe isn’t just about the meal — it’s about stepping into a different world for a little while. With incredible atmosphere, satisfying food, and exceptional service from Daniel, it became more than just dinner. It became a memory we’ll smile about for a long time.
It was our first time at rainforest cafe and Cynthia was awesome! She even let my 7 year old talk her ear off and never once tried to rush him lol. Food and service were great. I definitely recommend and will be back again!
We had such a great experience celebrating my son’s birthday at Rainforest Cafe! Daniel was a wonderful server—so kind, attentive, and great with kids. The food was amazing, and the whole atmosphere made the day extra special. Thank you for helping us create such a fun birthday memory!
We had a great time visiting the San Antonio Rainforest Cafe. Our server KC was patient with the kids and gave great service. The very delightful General Manager Luis stopped by to check on us and we had a great chat! We also got to visit with the Assistant Manager Jonathan and he was a gem, he has great energy and is a perfect fit here!
We loved this place. Everything was forest themed. If you purchase a drink you got to keep the glass as a souvenir. The food was basic but very good! The service was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. It is also right on The River Walk and they have a nice souvenir store. We would definitely come back.
We enjoyed lunch at the Rainforest Cafe on the Riverwalk and had the pleasure of having Alex as our server. She was amazing! So kind, patient, and on top of everything. Drinks were refilled, food was checked on, and we felt genuinely taken care of. Five stars all the way!
Was my first time bringing my kiddo to rain forest, and we came for the experience and cool memories. Haven’t been to one of these since I was a kid. Daniel did that for us, appreciate you! My daughter will def remember this! Definitely ask for Daniel when you come here.
Daniel A could teach a CLINIC on serving. He's like a Zen Master for making his customers happy. no joke, I don't write reviews but my family was treated like royalty by Daniel. We come here pretty often and are never disappointed with service or food. We'll keep coming. My only regret is not tipping Daniel better than I should have.
Rainforest Cafe San Antonio was fantastic. The food was on point and the atmosphere is always a hit with my kids. Daniel (who was training Carmen) went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday special—singing, a little dance, and a lit lava cake she got to blow out. It was such a thoughtful, memorable moment. Service like that is rare these days, which made it even more special. Big thanks to Rainforest Cafe and especially Daniel and Carmen!
We loved our server Alex! She was so great and attentive for our group celebrating our sweet five year oldest birthday. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Food was good and we always love the atmosphere here too.
Always a great time at the Rainforest Cafe. KC was our Safari Guide and they were amazing! Super attentive and friendly, really tying the whole experience together. The food was better than I remembered, which was exciting (and tasty). We don't come here often so to have good food and a great Safari Guide was really appreciated. Can't wait to come back!
Our waiter, Daniel, was absolutely amazing! He was so attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our entire meal. He checked on us often without being intrusive and went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of. His positive attitude and great service truly made our experience even better. We really appreciated how thoughtful and professional he was—thank you for such a wonderful dining experience! I need to mention, we had a table of 25!!!
Our server Alex was absolutely amazing!! We came here as a celebration for our engagement and she absolutely delivered! We are not from here but if we were to visit I would definitely request her again ❤️ food was also amazing! I got the steak and shrimp with green beans and it was delicious!! My FIANCÉ got the steak, shrimp, and ribs which was also delicious, those ribs fell off the bone and the steak was juicy and cooked to perfection
Our 7 year old had a phenomenal time. The establishment was clean and the food was delivered timely. Emily M. was the best part of our experience! She was so friendly, attentive and knew the menu like the back of her hand.
Rainforest Cafe is more than just a restaurant—it’s an adventure! From the moment you walk in, the jungle atmosphere, complete with waterfalls, animatronic animals, and periodic thunderstorms, makes for an unforgettable experience. The food was great! I had NY strip and it was flavorful and medium rare like I ordered. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and attentive. The kids absolutely loved the interactive elements, and the souvenir shop was a nice bonus. If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly restaurant with a one-of-a-kind ambiance, Rainforest Cafe is the perfect choice. Highly recommend!
Great food, great service! It’s been 20 years since I’ve visited the cafe and it’s still the best experience! The only thing I was sad about was the childhood danger of the sparkler on the cake. Either way though, 10000000/10!!! And our waitress, Miriam, VERY attentive and incredibly sweet!!
Really fun environment for the whole family. The food isn’t anything to write home about, but it’s good enough to enjoy and the players are huge. Very friendly staff! Just be aware, your entire party needs to be present to check in for a reservation. Not a big deal, but good to know ahead of time. Also, if they come up offering to take pictures it’s just them trying to sell you on buying their photos 😂
Definitely recommend taking the family out to this establishment! The decorations inside the restaurant are beautiful and the kids loved it! This was our first time coming here. Our amazing waitress was named Samantha! She helped recommend some food and drink items. She was so sweet nd made sure we were good the whole time we were there. I love that they have a cup that you can buy and take home! Food came out pretty quick nd was hot nd fresh! Its a lil pricey but not too bad. We will definitely be coming back!!
Always have a great time amd delicious food at the Rainforest Cafe. I always check to see if one exists in the city I'm visiting. The one in SanAntonio river walk is 3 floors but they have elevators. Its near the river so you can walk afterwards. There are no views of the river from inside. The atmosphere is great with the jungle animals.
I had such a great experience at the Rainforest Café! Our server was absolutely wonderful—he was attentive, friendly, and really took the time to explain the menu. He made great recommendations that turned out to be delicious, and you could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had a good dining experience. The food was tasty, the atmosphere was fun and unique, and the service truly stood out. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Overall great time. The atmosphere is the reason to go and it was 10/10. The food was okay. We went for breakfast, not sure about the lunch/dinner quality but the breakfast was rather plain. My toddler really loved the fish. They have some gorilla's that get fairly loud which had him a little nervous at first but he warmed up to it.
Best pickle I’ve ever had! 🥒And the burger was amazing! Was a really great experience!! And Ashley was the best! She was taking such good care of us! We were 7 people and its super hard sometimes to handle such a big group of young people. She is absolutely the best! We love her!!!💕
We had a great mid-week lunch treat at Rainforest Cafe. It's been years since we've been here. The atmosphere was excellent as usual. But more surprisingly, we had a fantastic Safari Guide, KC, and the food was very flavorful and good quality. I don't remember the food being this good before. Something that stood out to me was the more Caribbean theme, from the food options to the the steel pan soca music. It really brought the tropical experience together.
Our afternoon lunch could have easily gone the wrong way, but thanks to Georgia, Emily and Ida, it turned into one of the most impressive service experiences we’ve had. Georgia, our hostess, was absolutely outstanding. Her warmth, grace, and professionalism were next level. She didn’t just greet us — she genuinely cared. She handled the situation with such poise and kindness that she completely shifted the energy of the evening. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it deserves to be recognized. And then there’s Emily — truly exceptional. From the moment she introduced herself, she was attentive, confident, and incredibly personable. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, made thoughtful recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect. Her positive attitude and attention to detail made us feel valued and appreciated the entire time. You can tell she takes pride in delivering top-tier service. The management team, Ida and Luis, also stepped up and made sure we left happy, which speaks volumes about the leadership there. What started as a rough beginning turned into an experience worth raving about — all because of Georgia, Emily and Ida! If you visit, you’ll be lucky to have them taking care of you!
Sunshine was a great host for us. She was very attentive and knowledgeable of everything offered on the menu making our first time experience here a wonderful and pleasant time. Amazing tasting food! Our son ordered a burger and it’s definitely better than most of the burgers here ordered on the river walk. We ordered pasta and fish tacos and they did not disappoint at all.
Celebrating my wife's birthday in San Antonio we ended up at Rainforest Cafe during a stroll at the River walk. I had already marked Rainforest Cafe as a restaurant to visit anytime we were near any of their locations. November of 2025 was the time. The restaurant decorations make you feel that you are walking thru the jungle to get to your table. Make sure you are looking all around you for subtle details. The service was great and they warn you that the decorations are not just that, some of them are animatronics that are paired with restaurant-wide sound bites of gorillas, monkeys, elephants and jungle sounds in general. We ordered the Taste of the islands, and a Grilled meatloaf with a Hurricane for a drink. The portions were great as was the flavor. We are looking forward to being able to visit some of the other locations of this restaurant.
First time at Rainforest Cafe and was impressed. Aesthetics of the restaurant was unique and beautiful. The service was awesome. Thank you to our server, Eric, who gave us his recommendations and he was spot on! The Brushetta chicken was delicious! Eric was very attentive to our table during a busy time which is not always the case. Eric was also very accommodating and understanding as we had unexpected need to leave urgently and he got us out in no time! Thank you Eric for your service and providing a great first impression of this restaurant! Great vibe, great drinks and great food!
This was my first time ever at any Rainforest Cafe and my fiancés first time being at the San Antonio location and this was his idea. We were celebrating his 29th birthday and he is a VTuber, so he wanted to bring along his avatar’s mask he had created and take pictures around the restaurant. When we asked our amazingly sweet, great recommender of drinks and food waitress Joana if we could speak with the manager for permission for our silly shenanigans photo shoot, she gladly got him. The manager, Jonathon, not only gave us his most enthusiastic blessing, but also gave us dessert on the house and whipped up and amazing blended espresso martini for me after I went on about how much I enjoyed their regular espresso martini, on the house as well. They really made the experience special and fun for us silly adults with the hearts of children still.
I came to this place just to try something different. And we ate dinner. I wasn’t expecting the food that good and the place is magical, I love it. It is a beautiful experience. Sorry for the food photos but it was that good that I forget to took the pic at the beginning bc it looked so tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Joana was amazing! I brought my son to San Antonio on a work trip. He has always wanted to go to a rainforest cafe so this was his first visit!! And he loved it and cannot wait to come back… I’ve been to several locations across the US and hands down the best service I’ve received. She made sure we didn’t miss a thing and really added to the experience!! It’s not often you get that level of customer service anymore!
First time coming to San Antonio, Texas and Rain Forest Cafe! Cynthia was an incredible and amazing server. Very interactive with us, super kind, and laughed at our (very poor) dad jokes. Honestly can't wait to return!
Jonathan and the staff made my birthday dinner absolutely awesome im glad I came here. Great attitude and awesome customer service. Jonathan and waitresses are always asking if we needed anything. Amazing service and excellent cooked steak. Sé aventaron
Such a fun experience at Rainforest Cafe! The atmosphere was lively and entertaining, especially for kids, and the food was better than expected. Our waitress, Samantha, really made the visit stand out—she was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect without ever making us feel rushed. She had a great attitude and handled everything smoothly even when it got busy. Thanks to her, we had an awesome time and would definitely come back!
We were on the third level, which has great atmosphere. The kids loved all the animated animals and decor. It felt like a special experience. Our server Daniel was AMAZING. Fun, patient, quick with everything... Did I mention patient? He really helped make it a fantastic night for the whole family. The food also tasted great all around. We would highly recommend this location! (Right on the River Walk for easy access to other festive sights and sounds.)
Rainforest Cafe is the best place to eat if you want to have good food, and an amazing atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re in the Amazon jungle. Our server Daniel was great, he repeated our order back to us which was amazing since most places don’t do that. I would highly recommend this location to anyone. It’s also located right on the San Antonio Riverwalk.
Daniel was our server and he did amazing for us we had a birthday for our little Liam and we had a wonderful time and Daniel our waiter made it happen!!!! Thank you so much and thank you rainforest cafe!!!! Daniel made Rainforest shine tonight with his exceptional great service!!!
What an amazing meal. To start, this location on the riverwalk is absolutely gorgeous, and the tree house style design of the restaurant is so cool. Our server Desiree was a refreshingly bubbly and super knowledgeable server. She was super friendly and it’s quite obvious how much she loves her job as she made us feel welcome like we were family. My significant other and I ordered the rib steak and shrimp combo and omg yummmm! The steak was perfectly grilled, the ribs literally FELL OFF BONE they were so succulently delicious and the fried shrimp were 🤌🤌. I wish I had another set of hands so I could give this restaurant and experience 4 thumbs up 👍 👍👍👍 Kudos All Around Brian & Anne
Our visit to the Rainforest Cafe in San Antonio was nothing short of incredible! The atmosphere is truly magical, making it a fantastic experience for both kids and adults alike. The vibrant decor and ambient sounds of the rainforest kept everyone engaged and excited throughout our meal. A special shoutout to our server, Cynthia, who went above and beyond in taking care of us. She was attentive and genuinely listened to our kids, ensuring all their needs were met. It was so refreshing to see her interact with them, making them feel special and valued, specially as it was one of our kids birthday. Her exceptional service added a personal touch to our dining experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better server. Overall, it was a delightful outing that created lasting memories for our family. We can’t wait to return!
Love it! The animals and the stimulated thunderstorms are pretty cool. We always have a good time there. Everything is reasonably priced from the food to the adult beverages. The food is always great when we go. The desserts are all good but as a chocolate lover the Sparkling Volcano is My favorite.
Our server Cynthia was awesome! Great attitude! Friendly and fun. She made our experience so good. The food was OK. Nothing I would rush back for.
We visited the rainforest cafe after years since we last stepped foot here. We visited during the week after 5 pm so there was only a 20-25 minute wait time. We chose to have some drinks while we waited. The mixed drink was okay. We liked the fact that we could keep our cups. Once the wait time was over, we were seated on the 3rd floor. Our waiter, Daniel, was awesome. He was very attentive and quick with our orders. There was a 20 min wait with our food but he made sure to check on us during this time. I asked for the grilled shrimp as an add on and for $8.99 I got 5 small shrimps. However, I understand we’re paying for the experience in an area heavy on tourism. So I don’t recommend any add ons, you’ll be disappointed. Our food was good and came hot out of the kitchen. I also wanted to mention, they have an elevator on the side for strollers or wheelchairs! There is a thunderstorm show every 30 mins so if you have little ones, they might get scared. I did see a couple who had to leave due to their child being distraught with all the noise from the show.
I love every rainforest cafe I go to, and this one is no different! The fact that the restaurant is split into different floors makes it stand out against others in the chain. The food here was also good. The only issue was the service...the girl at the hostess stand who sat us at our table was also our waitress! And she had to do hostess duties and wait on several tables. She did a fantastic job despite this but our lunch was very slow! They need to better handle their staffing
This location has a street entrance and a Riverwalk entrance. Finding parking can be slightly difficult depending on the local events and the time of day. There is a paid parking lot in walking distance of the restaurant. The Riverwalk entrance is clearly marked. For our lunch there wasn't a wait for a table. The whole restaurant is jungle themed with fish tanks located throughout the tables on all floors. I believe there are a total of 3 floors. There is an elevator in the restaurant to accommodate strollers and wheelchairs. The restaurant themed animals are large and they move often. The restaurant can be very loud with the animal noises and thunderstorms occurring. This restaurant gets extremely crowded. The tables are placed really close together where you will bump the person at the table near you to get seated. We waited way too long for a waiter to help us but once we got that situated our server Cynthia was very attentive, helpful and apologetic for the wait, which wasn't her fault. She stepped in and took over our table. The serving sizes of the plates were large and filling.
Took us a little while before our server got to our table but after that initial wait, service was excellent. Both our server Amanda and the manager Jonathan were attentive. I wish there were more vegetarian entrees, the food was fine but choices for my party were limited. My daughter loved the kids dirt cup dessert option.
Our waitress was not the best. She did not give us the time of day by the time she brought what we asked for our plates were cold. when speaking to a manager all was handled very well. The manager Jonathan listened and was very attentive to our issues and concerns. He apologized on behalf of his staff member and personally took over services for the remainder of our time there. He made sure we left as satisfied customers, because of his hospitality and great customer service we will definitely be returning
Haven't been to a Rainforest Cafe in a long while so figured it would be fun to stop by for lunch during my trip to San Antonio. The location here is a good size, with three floors and a bar area. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about...but that's probably not why you would be going to Rainforest Cafe. The atmosphere was a lot of fun, eating amongst the various animal animatronics and rainforest flora. You can also get a souvenir glass with many of the drinks, which is cool, but keep in mind they do cost extra.
Cynthia was an amazing and attentive server. We did have to wait about 30 minutes for a table for two and when we made it upstairs many tables were open. The whole second floor was empty. Wish they had more servers available for quicker service.
This was such a fun restaurant. If you are wanting to go for a nice walk too it's quite litterally on the beautiful river walk. This restaurant was three stories tall and had plenty of animals. It's the only location with pandas. It has tons of gorilla, a tiger, a large snake, live fish, a soft shell turtle, and even a waterfall that flows through several floors. It is on the pricier side and our waiter was not very attentive. The food was good and the overall experience was enjoyable!
I love this place. They have a very good selection of food and the portions are of good size. It's a little pricey but you are on the riverwalk and for me it's worth it. The hostess could be a little more excited about her job and in how she greets people. Our server was good but never came and offered refills and walked by the table multiple times when we had empty dishes to be removed. Also we received an appetizer with no plates. We started with the bruschetta and it wasn't bad but I would prefer the ingredients already on the bread personally but it wasn't bad. I had the lasagna and it was excellent. We also got the chicken pasta with mushrooms cucumber and tomatoes and it was good but the pasta noonedles could've been cooked a little longer. I did enjoy the photographer that walked around and bought some photos.
The food was really good and our waiter was extremely helpful in taking our orders and making sure our drinks were full. The only problem we had as this was our first time were the very loud animal sounds and the strobe light effect. We would like to request that there'll be some sort of signage at the door what does information. We had one child who is on the autism spectrum and two adults who were having issues.
Rainforest Cafe is a cool and unique restaurant with an amazing, immersive rainforest vibe that's perfect for kids and animal enthusiasts. Though the main courses were just okay, I recommend the Nachos and Spinach Dip appetizers. The price is a bit high, but the overall experience, plus with the good service we received from our waiter, Daniel, makes it worthwhile. It is a fun place to celebrate birthday.
Had a great time. The kids were very impressed by the decor in the restaurant. It was very loud. So could be a difficult adventure for those with sensory issues. Service was great aside from the fact that my kids and husband witnessed a woman pick up food and eat it, from a table she was cleaning. That was bit disturbing. Food was very good. Although there was a bread tie left on my plate. Glad I was attentive to my plate. Also. Highly recommend reservations. Wait time is long even with them. Also they offered souvenir pictures. Loved that.
The atmosphere, as advertised, reflects a whimsical, rainforest complete with animal animatronics, sounds and even mist. The food was okay (Awesome Sample was pretty good) with some issues: one fish serving had a strange taste, and the fruit cup contained soured pineapple. The service seemed slow, but the restaurant was somewhat crowded.
Went for the first time and it wasn't that great. It took 20 minutes after we were seated to even get attended to for our drinks. We basically had enough time to select dinner from the memo (yes or was that long on a Thursday) I asked for well done on my steak and it was medium rare, as I was cutting it, blood was seeping out.i couldn't take a picture because once I pulled out my phone to snap one she asked for the plate. But I had to ask the waitress for a new plate and she stated that "she would have to check because they were running low in food and it was late" so I asked her to remove the plate from my tab and she said she would check if she could. She later brought a new dish of steak but i was gonna take it home instead, because the first one near us all disgusted. Ordered specialty drinks and DID NOT get my souvenir cups for both my drinks (rainbow coladas). And I'm not sure if they are supposed to charge for the volcano dessert for a birthday, but she sure did. Coleslaw tasted refrigerated from two days ago, had a slight spoiled taste, utensils were not fully cleaned either. Will be calling to see if I can get my souvenir cups from my birthday dinner. Such a disappointment. I spent nearly $200 and it wasn't worth it!!
Food is not the best but the service was pretty good. Kids enjoyed it more than we did as expected. The kids meals seemed reasonably priced…regular adult plates not so much. The kids macaroni and cheese did not look appetizing at all….Looked very dry. Chicken nuggets looked much better and kids seemed to eat that over the Mac n cheese.
Maybe it was just last night, but my family went here for a dinner, hoping to have a great experience. My server was attentive, but there was just something lacking. The steaks were okay but they didn’t provide us with steak knives, the mashed potatoes tasted a little funky, and my kids plates had fruit on it, that was definitely microwaved or sat in the warmer. Their grapes and oranges were HOT.
So tried street level entrance. No had to go Riverwalk level to enter. Then climb 3 stories to get seated? Not cool. We were wondering how they actually clean with all the jungle (hypersensitive to mold). Server needed to know his business better. Food took a while but was pretty good. Yeah, having to enter at the bottom and climb to the top? Not too cool. Maybe it was an AC thing?
This cafe is perfect for a family meal. Younglings will believe they are eating in the jungle, which is very nice. Food is good. The service is a little bit slow. It is kind of expensive for a menu filled with burguers and no special meals. It is only worth it of you go with family.
The atmosphere was awesome — thunder, animals, and all the jungle chaos you could want before lunch. The food, though, looked way better than it tasted. Our server, Casey, was a nice guy but already looked like he’d survived a hurricane in the Amazon, and it was only 11 a.m. Service was okay, not great. And for $200, I half expected a gorilla to bring me dessert or at least a free souvenir cup. Cool experience once, but next time I’ll admire the jungle from a safe (and cheaper) distance. 🌧️🐍🍹
The place was very dirty, restrooms had feces smeared over the wall and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I wanted to change my baby’s diaper and there was a big trash can obstructing the changing table. The whole restaurant smelled like a sewer. Service from the front desk through the server and manager was bad, nobody held accountable for anything. We said it was my daughters birthday and they ignored me completely even though they were singing around us to other birthday customers. When I told the manager he didn’t even say sorry, he just said that that was weird and that they sing to everyone. Food is mediocre at best and overpriced. We had been to the one in downtown Disney and it was a very nice experience, my girl asked for this for her birthday and feels very disappointed and heartbroken. Don’t come here if you want a nice family time, look for a family owned place. Disclaimer: we know this kind of place is more of the experience than the food. But it wasn’t a good experience at all. Edit: my daughter had the chicken nuggets off the kids’ menu and ended up getting sick with a stomach flu. She is the only one who ate that and, nobody else got sick but her. It was bad.
2/25/26::: We took our oldest here for her birthday. Drove 40 minutes and had a reservation. We were seated approx 10 mins later and then waited 15 mins just for a drink and app order. Drinks finally came out and 2/3 were correct. Then the app (which was amazing). Then nothing for an hour. No refills, no check in, and definitely no order taking. By the time we had our order taken, there was 20 mins before closing. By the time we got our food, it was 30 mins past closing (9:30. Our reservation was for 7:30). No birthday celebration 😭, no apology from the server at all. She was focused on a table that had 8 people (i get it, its a birthday party) which we were sitting right next to, but thats no excuse to ignore us. Spoke to the hostess stand to let them know and they said the mgr would be right out, but they never told him. When she finally refilled the drinks she told my daughter she would give us a free refill for the trouble. When the food came we asked for boxes and the bill. On the bill the $7 refill was there, smh. $145 for 3 people only to not be able to eat anything there but the app. By time we got home, the food was horrible (50 mins with 35N traffic) smh. Idk if we will be back, smh.
Friends and I wanted to come here after hearing good things. Arrived at 9:06PM, with party of 3. We were informed there was a 30 minute wait. I know this place closes at 10PM so I asked the lady up front if we’d only have 20 mins to eat. She said as long as we were seated and on the waitlist before closing time, we could take our time. Not a problem. We were seated at 9:52PM. 46 minutes, whatever. Giving this place the benefit of the doubt. We were excited to see the animatronics, but we were sat on the second floor with an entire wall obstructing our view of the only animatronic in sight. Okay, well the experience isn’t that good, maybe the food will be better. Nope! Everything was overpriced. I only got a water and side of fries, which came at 10:14PM. 22 mins. Ok, total wait time a little over an hour. Fries were cold. I waited 22 minutes for cold fries. I understand yall close at 10PM, but as told before, as long as we were on the waitlist we would be accommodated, so I feel like that’s not my fault. They tasted stale, like they were the last fries of the night that they wanted to just serve them to get us out. Message received, won’t ever be coming back. Oh, and it doesn’t stop there. I was handed the check back after paying, and it was dirty. Definitely not worth the wait. Oh, and also, this place REEKS of sewer. I’m terribly disappointed, especially because I’ve heard great things about this place.
If you want Applebee’s quality at 3 times the price - go here. The lettuce in our salad was wilted. The steak had zero flavor. It was disgusting. So disappointing. The manager was kind and refunded our money. But I would not go back.
This was my first time with my family coming here. Initially we were excited & looking forward for our table. But as soon as we were sat everything just went downhill. We were 2 adults & 1 kid. We ordered a plate each and it took 45 minutes for the food to come out. & I try to be understanding but the waitress never once came back to check on us. She was taking care of other tables but us. They messed up our order twice and I know people make mistakes but they just straight up were rude.😭 So disappointing. We paid 86$ for two adult plates & 1 kids meal & 3 drinks. The food was not hot or cold it was just bland.😑 & The food wasn’t that great either. ( I say it respectfully ) Never again. This place is more for the aesthetic & pictures, that’s it!
Food looked good but had not much taste. Shrimp was rubbery and the drinks had no alcohol. We ordered food to go for our family and even though we told our server we were staying at a hotel she didn't bother to put spoons or forks . My expectations were high and I left utterly disappointed
Jasmine was our server this evening we were fine up until the point where we asked for our ticket, handed her our card to pay and she took over 10-15min to charge us, we saw her passed by twice with drinks for two different tables and as we were ready to leave we starting walking to the front since our baby started to get fussy and she started crying while waiting for her to charge us, the second time we saw her passed by she said “oh I haven’t charge you brb” 6min later she came back before this the second time I saw her passed by with drinks for a different table I walked back to our table to get our tip back(we always tip accordingly regardless the food whether we liked it or not, depending on the service) to my surprise she did had time to get the tip from the table but not to charge us, even our table was ready for a new guest and SHE STILL HADN’T CHARGE US THEN . my husband had the fish tacos which tasted like egg and to be microwaved, got the baby the python pasta again half cold half hot seemed like microwaved, I had the chicken something which was good big plate reasonable price. Overall we had a bad experience we had better expectations since this place had good reviews gift shop looked really cool we wanted to shop after our meal but unfortunately with this bad experience we just wanted to get out of there asap .
Honestly this is a really cool and pretty neat looking restaurant. I thought it was overall a little bit to loud with all the weird animal sounds and recordings and the humidity was a little to high for my comfort. We were seated very quickly but the one star is for absolutely horrible service. Five us sat for around 30 minutes without even having someone ask us for drinks. When one staff member realized they forget about us or didnt realize no one was serving us they apologized and said they would be right with us. 5-10 minutes later no one arrived. With the price of a plate 20$ish I would expect at least some service. We got up and walked out and not a single member of staff said a word to us. I would recommend going to McDonald's first. At least you get the service you pay for which is still better than this restaurant. We also went during off hours and so the excuse isnt it was just busy because it was not busy at all.
