It’s always sad to see a great business go away after many years. I came by today to get my last Bali burger before they close at the end of the month. Their food is so delicious and fresh! If you get a chance to come in and try their food before the end of Jan 2026 , I’d highly recommend that.
Amazing experience this morning! 1st time dining in! Going to miss this place! Thank you!!❤️😊
I love this place. I’ve been coming here since it was captain culver’s…. Over 20 years ago… and the things I’m obsessed with are: 1. Bombay Melt (curried chicken with secret Bali sauce, tomato, onion, and cheese atop an English muffin) served with soup of the day, green salad, or potato salad 2. POG- passionfruit, orange, guava juice. They also have delicious smoothies. The place is owned by Mauricio but you’ll often find his daughters working the restaurant. :) They are lovely people with excellent customer service. You can sit inside or outside. It’s a very laid back vibe. You order at the counter, and then they will bring your food out to you or call you when it’s ready. The only thing you need to know, is sometimes they close a little early.. even though their hours are usually till 16:00, I’ve found them closed at 15:00 or 15:30. I suspect it all depends on how busy they are. So, if you want an afternoon snack, I recommend you call ahead to make sure they are still open.

I love this place it's family owned and run food cooked by the mom and dad. Daughters are the servers and they make a variety of great food. I don't eat meat so I can't speak for these dishes but the veggie options are great. It's worth a stop in if your here visiting.
It is one of the best sandwich shops in the world. Extremely nice workers and some of the most flavorful and exquisite sandwiches you will have ever tasted. They have mastered the art of making a sandwich.
My Girl and I came in and split a Chicken Curry Sandwich. It was excellent as I love Squaw bread. We look forward to going back for breakfast.
The food. The service. The staff.. absolutely incredible The food is ALWAYS good and during the holiday they make tamales that are soooo good! I’ve been coming here for a few years now and it’s always consistent The fact that it’s a family owned business makes me love it more as well
Had the avocado toast and the chorizo potato breakfast burrito. It was excellent. Family owned and they are awesome
Breakfast was great. Poached eggs on multigrain bread and avocado toast. Both excellent and good coffee too.
Best, fluffiest omelette I've had in a really long time. Breakfast sandwich was also a big hit!
The Vegan/Vegetarian options are great, and I really love the squaw bread. The food was very fresh, and it was a great experience.
Excellent service and lunches made fast and delicious! Have gone to this Cafe for years now and I am a very happy customer and make your order exactly the way you like it! Today the fluffiest omelette ever and hash browns perfectly made. Thank you!
Best breakfast in town! Absolutely one of the best family owned restaurants in town! The Bombay melts are so good! The açaí bowls are amazing!
The Owners/Staff were very friendly from the time I took 1 step into their door. This was my first time here since I am visiting my family here in California from Pennsylvania. The food was delicious and came to me nice and hot as well as my coffee. When I finished EVERYTHING on my plate which was eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and a bagel with cream cheese, I was so full and very sleepy. I would definitely and highly recommend eating HERE instead of the other breakfast places nearby. You will thoroughly enjoy your meal.
Fantastic breakfast burritos! Service is great and it's so great to see a local, family owned business in San Clemente. Highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic wet veggie burrito. One of the best I’ve had.

Got a smoothie here and it was really good! Came on Sunday and they the farmers market right in front of it with a bunch of cool stuff. Smoothie seemed fresh and hit the spot perfectly. Would stop in again.
Great food. Good quality ingredients. Sandwiches and smoothies are outstanding. The staff is often pleasant. Prices are fair for the account and quality of food you get. Parking is often challenging, especially on the weekends. Seating is also very limited. Recommended as a great local sandwich, salad, and smoothie shop.

Mediocre at best. We came here for breakfast. Had to go outside to look at the breakfast sign they set out every day. The food was ok. But very expensive for what we got! Huevas rancheros was very disappointing. Wasn't good at all. Avocado toast just didn't have much on it. Breakfast burrito was a bit bland. And we also had the pancakes with eggs and bacon, 2 coffees and 2 sunny side up eggs ($2each). Over $70. There are nicer restaurants in the area with better food, great atmosphere and are sit-down that's cheaper than this. Service was great though. Very friendly.

$40 for a turkey bacon sandwich with cheese and avocado, half salad, chips and a shake. Shake wasn't a shake, it was liquid. Overpriced for mid grade food. Not coming back.

I've been a patron at this establishment for over 25 years, dating back to its days as Captain Culvers. However, in recent times, I've noticed a decline in the quality of the food. On my most recent visit, I ordered a chicken salad to go, and unfortunately, it will be my last time here. The cost of the salad was $15, and to my dismay, it contained a mere half-cup of chicken salad along with a few carrots, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Notably absent were the sprouts, cashews, and avocado that were promised in the description. Adding to my disappointment, the server neglected to use gloves while handling the food. I observed her using her bare hands in direct contact with the lettuce. This lack of adherence to basic cleanliness standards, coupled with the insufficient amount of chicken salad for the price, left me thoroughly dissatisfied. It was evident that she lacked concern for the quality of service provided.
